Came here to grab some of my favorite candy I was craving and at the time I was not able to taste test anything because I was fasting. By the time I got home and was able to eat them... they were quite literally (0 exaggeration) hard as a rock. Super disappointing given how much I spent on them. read more

After work I drove out to Oak Brook to have some alone time to shop. I was along minding my own business. When I happen to look up and see this shiny bright sign "Lolli and Pops. I thought to myself hmm what new store could this be all lit up in lights. I made my way upstairs to be nosey and it was a wonderful thing. This cute candy store is something magical. There were kids and adults everywhere in sweetness shocked. I don't even know where to begin with my review. But I can tell you that the staff had on these amazing outfits. This store has changed the game with having the employees wear these unique outfits. Malik & Casey were so nice and attentive to all their customers. They both had great personality and nice smiles. This is the most delightful Candy Store I have seen in quite awhile. Newly Open in Oak Brook Mall on the Second Floor. The displayed are beautifully package with gummies, old school retro candy and fresh soft flavored marshmallow. You can even asked to sample some of the candy. This store is absolutely a place where you can get lost in Candy Heaven. I will make sure to stop in again when I'm out in Oak Brook. read more

Absolutely LOVE this cute lil candy shoppe at the Oakbrook Mall! I had so much fun looking around with my 14yr old son as he walked around filling his golden basket with sweet treats! The cold drink selection was very impressive and I was also glad to see that we can get some of the Japanese treats we like here now so we dont have to go all the way to Chinatown. Service was excellent and they even offered to open a bottle of the bacon flavoured pop for us to try, which we politely declined. It was also great to see that they have such an amazing selection of bulk candies, including some srsly wicked gummie bear flavours that I had never seen before (mai tai?!?!). I signed up for the rewards program and as I work near them, I will definitely be back soon, I'm sure! read more

Yummy but pricey They've got all the sweets even some international ones too. Only problem for me is the macarons are in the fridge so you have to wait until they set to room temperature before eating them so get yourself something else to chow down on while you patiently wait. So this is one of the best candy shops I've ever been to. They have whatever you can imagine. They have one little section where you can scoop out whatever chocolate covered candies you want and you can do the same with the fruit flavored gummies. We were able to sample some and they are so fresh. They have a whole ton of gummy bears including rose champagne flavored. If you like that more power to you lol. They have so many chocolate bars and European stuff. And Krispy bars you wouldn't imagine lol. See a place I would come again cause you never know what you mind find. Stopped by to look around and with so many candies and one of the ladies offering free samples I ended up getting a bag of different gummy bears. Friendly staff and plenty of options to choose from. A few things that bothered me about this order. When you look on line for the lollipops many of the ones I was interested in were shown in groups of 3. I took this to mean that I was paying for 3 lollipops, not 1, and all in different colors. In my view, if you offer an item for sale that is a single item it should be shown as a single item, with a drop down menu showing the different colors/flavors you can choose from. I had these shipped to my home and then I sent them on to my grandkids in another state. Needless to save I was shocked that it was only a single lollipop for each child. Misleading big time, imho. I've never seen sets of items offered together that didn't include all the ones I was viewing. Sure seems like Lolli could be doing what other businesses do and simply show 1 lollipop and then offers a drop down of the different flavors and colors available. That said my grandkids did enjoy the single lollipop they received but I was disappointed that that's all I got them. read more

Never before have I felt more unwelcomed than at Lolli & Pops today. Customer service has always been sub-par here but today it was even worse. No welcome when entering Lolli & Pops at the Oakbrook Mall for me and my party even though others who entered after received warm welcomes. When I came up to the checkout counter with a question, the sales associate there looked at me with a sneer, not even a "hi". I left the store vowing never to return. read more

What a fun shop! This is every kid's dream come true. Candy from the floor to the ceiling. You can find all sorts of candies as well as some gourmet truffles and petit fours! Their flavors are constantly switching with the seasons. Not to mention, they are decorated adorably! They also carry gourmet sodas and novelty candies. I love that you can get mason jars that are elegantly decorated and fill them up with a candy of choice. So much more elegant than the plastic bag (but they have those as well)! Prices are higher than your typical "mall" candy store. But I will say, this place is super clean and gives me that Disney Main Street candy shop feeling. An incredibly adorable candy space! What makes this place better than the competition is their packaging. It's amazing. A gift from Lolli and Pops, as I received about a week ago, is gorgeous. From the sturdy pastel box to the beautiful gift bag and wonderfulness inside, it's definitely a gift to cherish and remember. Most of all, the chocolates inside are yummy fantastic! Everything under one room that is considered a feast to the eyes, stomach and is delectable, is there. There must have been 20 kids with their mom's in the store when I was there, yet the parents and staff kept everything (and everyone) under control. A tad smaller than the Chicago store (and there's something a bit more special, that I also like the Chicago store more) but has essentially all one could ever imagine or want in candy, chocolate and popcorn. There's an entire section of European candies and Milka chocolates, another table of candies from my parents generation (taffy and stuff) and several walls and tables of interesting candy and chocolates from different parts of the world. The 70% dark chocolate bars looked interesting, but not their $15.50 price tag. I had a wonderful espresso chocolate truffle and a cappuccino truffle to go. Delicious! read more

I had high hopes walking into this shop. It looked fun from the outside and it seemed to have a large selection of candy. I will give them a great deal of credit for the variety - especially the international candy. However, I was charged over $6 for a handful of gummy bears that were not great. The service was so-so not what I would have expected for the prices. I was tempted to purchase the Wasabi or Green Tea Kit Kat bars. The product itself had some fun options. The store was clean and well kept. I did like the variety of soda bottles and cans including the Pac Man energy drink. While this wasn't the most terrible experience I have ever had - to me this just wasn't worth the money they are asking you to pay. read more

Absolutely fa-nominal and unexpected great service! I've been inside this store a few times and in aww with all the different countries they represent with their candy along with the many parts of America. They have about 15 different rootbeers and old time soda's. You can spend an hour just looking around this store, and still find new unique candies. On this particular day, I had about an hour to waste waiting for my daughter. I stepped into Lilli Pops to browse and Casey told me about the free basket w bunny on any $35 purchase. After trying a few chocolate samples I was sold for an Easter Basket for my kiddo. Let me say, Casey went ABOVE and beyond with helping to find just the right treats. She also put the basket together and disguised it so my charming daughter didn't know I had bought her Easter items early. Casey was kind, knowledgeable, and most of all honest with everything in the store. They have been out of over 10 kinds of candy for almost 1 month now. It's pointless to go if almost everything is gone.

I stopped into Lolli and Pops on my lunch break. The free gummy bear sample is what drew me in! I'll start by saying that Lolli and Pops is one of the cleanest confectionary stores I've ever been in. The samples are abundant and the store manager offered to open anything to let me try before purchasing. Not only do they have candy by the pound, they have treats from different countries which is pretty unique. I purchased some Asian confectionaries and some macaroons from the counter. I was given so many samples that I wasn't even hungry for my lunch. (Hey - A candy lunch never hurt anyone ! ) My favorite part was the refillable containers you can purchase and for a small price, refill (gummies and chocolate). I'll be back to purchase soon! This candy store is like modern day willie wonka, with funky, fun music playing in the background while Tim whisks you around from one area to another to sample all the sugary goodness. I thought all gummy bears were the same until I came here. What an amazing selection of flavors. There's no possible way for me to even list half of them. The items in the store are quite nice, ranging from old/nostalgia hard candies to modern day gummies and international-type candies. The prices are quite high, though, almost to the point of being unreasonable, but given the neighborhood in which the store is located, it is somewhat understandable. I bought one 4oz bag of Tamalitoz and a 1.4oz pack of Razzles, and the overall total came out to be over $10.00! The cashier was fairly inexperienced and it seemed like he was the only one working the store that day. There was not much of a greeting when I entered the store. After I had made my purchase, I was expecting a receipt, but there was none. Usually, the cashier would say something to signal that the transaction had been completed (i.e. "Have a great day," "Thank you.", etc.). This was not case; instead the cashier did not say anything to signal that the transaction had been completed, so there was a definite awkward moment where I was just standing by the checkout expecting a receipt and the cashier was behind the register wondering why I was still standing there. The cashier finally asked, "is there anything wrong?" at which time, I finally understood that my transaction had been completed. Overall, I think more detailed training of the employees is necessary to provide a better experience. read more

Excellent selection in candy. Customer service from Dillon was outstanding. He was the reason I ended up buying my candies even if I thought they were a little overpriced. I didn't like the service I received from Danie. She seemed inconvenienced and I had to ask her about the rewards program instead of her volunteering to tell me about it. Then after I registered for it she stated "then you'll get your free gummy bears." It seemed as if she was insinuating something negative. All in all I liked the store but I appreciated Dillons customer service much more. read more

My friend and I were walking around Oakbrook and happily stumbled into Lolly and Pops. What a fantastic candy shop. The design is beautiful. The gentleman who greeted us started asking us what our favorite candy was. We are chocolate connoisseurs so our host gave us multiple samples of some of the best chocolates (dark chocolate espresso beans, dark chocolate sea salt caramels, dark chocolate covered orange peel). All outstanding!!! There are candies from around the world. Everything is so organized. The prices are higher than your average candy shop, but worth every penny. My daughter and I came shopping at oakbrook and were immediately drawn to this adorable little mint green shop. We went in and it was GORGEOUS! Every single candy Your heart could desire. Local gummy bears in EVERY flavor and then some. Beautiful truffles and amazing macaroons. The service was impeccable and the prices were reasonable for a boutique candy shop! The packaging for the macaroons is so so lovely...this is a great place for gifts or just a sweet treat. Highly recommend popping in here next time you're in the area! read more

Was killing time between appointments and this place was awesome! They signed me up for their rewards program as well. They have a great selection of Japanese candy(makes my wife happy) along with other candies(including specialty chocolate bars like carrot cake!) Cute store but the bulk candy is expensive for gummies. We bought two small bags of gummy bears and chocolate covered gummy bears. They cost 20 dollars and unfortunately they were stale and hard with the chocolate cracking and flaking off... used to be a great store. Tim is the bomb.com. He is so passionate and excited about his job. He loves what he does. He literally sold me popcorn gummy bears and a Wonder ball and made 35 bucks off of me. I got barbecue kettle corn which is kettle corn with a twist. And all the wonderful alcoholic gummy bears and a super Mario Wonder ball. Tim you deserve a raise!!
