Craving BBQ, specifically turkey and off we went right "down the road"…read more I opted for the 2 meat plates with a few extra sides. (Just couldn't resist) Ordered the turkey and jalapeño Cheddar Sausage. The turkey (as usual) is juicy and tender with the right amount of smokiness flavor. You can't find anyplace that's better! The sausage, is Devine with the right amount of jalapeño heat. True to form the Mac n cheese and baked potato salad was delicious. I opted to try the baked beans and talk about tasty and "differently. I can't explain the flavor but it has this vanilla soda taste that is quite frankly out of this friggin world...and their green beans are seasoned to the Pit-master gods! My sis exclaimed the Pulled pork BBQ Sandwich is her absolute favorite..EVER! The measure of great BBQ (in my opinion) when you're holding 10's across the board. EVERYTHING IS DELICIOUS! Next time, I'm trying their Smash Burger! Service is always top notch and restaurant is ALWAYS CLEAN! The staff deserve a huge pat on the back!

Wow did we luck out finding this gem of a place! From atmosphere, to service, to food...it's all…read moregreat! What a fun location as well tucked inside an RV park! We ordered the loaded grande nachos, the brisket sliders with Mac and cheese, and the queso and chips. We also got a side of their in house Cole slaw and sweet/spicy pickles. Let me tell you I will be dreaming about those pickles! Who just thinks to put pineapple in with pickles? This place! And it works. Christi was our server and she had a fantastic smile and was attentive to us. She also gave GREAT recommendations! We loved it all. Our two boys said best sliders hands down. If we lived here, this place would be a staple for us. I will be returning here anytime I'm in the area!

I noticed there has been no reviews for this place in over a year so wanted to try it. It's…read moreessentially a restaurant that has a small grocery side and a couple of gas pumps. About 70% if the store was the grill, tables, etc. The menu is very basic so no specialty burgers or anything like that... So I ordered a cheeseburger and fries (also came with a drink). The fries were thick and had great consistency. My only issue is that they were very lightly seasoned so some of them were very plain. The burger was really good though. I do wish they put more veggies or has sauce options besides mayo or mustard, but the patty was very well seasoned and cooked to perfection. They cook after you order, so there was a little of a wait, but that's not a problem at all. Despite the couple of things that I wish was better, I still give it 5 stars.... Why? Because it only cost me $10 which made it well worth that cost. I would prob eat a burger from here again, though it's in a side of town I'm not a fan of and hardly ever in (near Pelican Bay which is a whole other issue for me, growing up going there pretty often, so I try not coming over here lol)

I had heard about Mak's for awhile before I decided to take a ride over that way. It certainly doesn't look like much as you drive by. When you walk in they take up half of the building. Seems like there about 8 tables, so plenty of room to eat there. I opted for a double cheeseburger me fries. Looking back in it I wish I had ordered the single patty instead. They cook them to order so waited about ten minutes. It's an old fashioned diner style cooking on the flat top right in front of you. So when it came out I was amazed at the size of the burger and portion size of fries. That double patty is huge. Could have easily split the fries with someone else too. I was pleasantly surprised by the taste of the burger. The fries also were crinkle cut and nice and crispy. Definitely in my list to try again.
