I shop here mostly during the holiday season, because they have just so many options, and even with the higher-than-average prices, it's worth finding things you won't be able to find elsewhere without ordering online (which I am highly against). Currently, they have lots of 30% off coupons, and the catalogs are always appealing. Here, the Hallmark Card variety is outstanding and the staff are friendly and keep a warm, happy, and calm attitude to the store. When I stumbled upon Copper Penny Flowers' website, I was instantly drawn to their fresh, modern arrangements in stunning colors--a far cry from the ho-hum, generic selections I'd seen everywhere else. I figured they'd be way out of my range, but when I called to inquire about alternative options, Caroline couldn't have been more upbeat and helpful. Unlike so many others, who led with what they weren't able to do for me, she asked open-ended questions and suggested minor tweaks and modifications to mirror the essence and volume of the design I envisioned, kept it within my budget, and was able to include same-day shipping in the final price we agreed upon. She designed an arrangement over the phone that utilized my favorite blooms in an incredible color scheme, in a gorgeous, contemporary design. Better still? She let me know that they'd deliver it within the hour. Done and done! Needless to say, it took all the pain out of purchasing a floral arrangement across state lines, and I couldn't be more pleased with my experience. Kudos to Copper Penny Flowers! However, today at a particular location, I had an unpleasant experience. Out of all the 'Paper Store' locations I have visited, I have never been profiled as someone who might steal. I had only come to this store to look at Pura Vida and JellyCats. Despite this, one of the associates told me that I had to leave my Pura Vida jewelry at the front counter. As I walked over to the JellyCats section, another associate approached me as if I was going to steal the jewelry. This made me feel disrespected and uncomfortable. When I entered the store and went to the jewelry section, I felt like all eyes were on me as if I was going to do something illegal. So, if you plan to look at jewelry in this location, be prepared for them to assume you're going to steal it. Just to clarify, I have been to multiple "Paper Store" locations and I've NEVER been asked to place my items at the front counter while I continued to browse. I won't be coming back to this location.
