I recently visited this Nordstrom Rack location after moving to Charlotte, and overall, it was a…read moresolid experience. Nordstrom Rack has always been one of my favorite places to shop. I used to work at a full line Nordstrom years ago, so I know quality when I see it. That's why I love the Rack because you can always expect good brands at better prices than you'd find at the full line store. To some people, Nordstrom Rack still feels a little pricey for a discount store, but you really have to compare it to the original full line price tags. I live in the NoDa area, and I will say this location was a bit farther out than I expected, about 25 minutes from my house. I was honestly surprised that there isn't a Nordstrom Rack closer to the city. This one is more on the outskirts, which is fine, but it does make quick trips or exchanges a little less convenient. Yes, you can return items at the full line Nordstrom, but sometimes you just want to browse and see what's new. Parking here was easy, and the store itself was clean and well organized. Coming from Houston and then Florida, I wasn't used to seeing so many coats in stock, so that actually caught my attention. They had a big winter selection, and I ended up leaving with a super cute trench coat, a puffer jacket, and a couple of other cold weather pieces since I know Charlotte winters are going to be colder. The staff was about as friendly as you'd expect at a Nordstrom Rack, but they moved quickly, and the checkout line wasn't long. Overall, this location was consistent with the other Nordstrom Racks I've been to. No surprises, just the usual dependable Rack experience. I'd definitely return.

The store was very well stocked and clean. You didn't see much on the ground from items knocked down. The items I found were priced very well. No complaints. There was so much variety here that you could spend a lot of time in this store. Upon checking out, I was greeted by a young lady. She asked me about opening a store credit card and I told her no thank you. Her demeanor changed, lol! I mean I'm sorry that I don't shop here often enough but also store credit cards are too limiting! But anywho...nice experience here and I would return.

Review for Charlotte Premium Outlets…read more After relocating to Charlotte from the San Francisco Bay Area, I've kept my same philosophy about shopping: retail prices are optional if you're willing to do a little homework. I'm always looking for quality and value without paying unnecessary markups, and this outlet center has been a very reliable place to find both. I needed professional clothing, shoes, and luggage for work, so I made the drive out here--and I found everything I needed in one trip. One of my best purchases was a beautiful piece of luggage from Travelpro at a great price. Many of the stores also offer additional discounts if you sign up for their rewards programs, which can make the savings even better. Stores I frequent most: * Banana Republic * J.Crew * Ann Taylor * LOFT * Saks Off 5th * Old Navy (very large location with great basics) * Le Creuset -- always fun to browse, even if just window shopping If you have the time to look carefully and shop strategically, you can really find high-quality items here at excellent prices. My personal shopping strategy: * I avoid weekends whenever possible * I park near the Saks entrance, especially along the back row where it's easier to remember where you parked * I shop during off-hours for a calmer, more efficient experience Parking overall is plentiful, and the layout is easy to navigate once you learn your preferred entry point. Another thing I appreciate is the atmosphere. In my experience, the staff across stores have been knowledgeable, polite, and helpful. The overall vibe feels practical and approachable--people are there to shop, not to show off. There are also plenty of restaurants and fast-casual options nearby, so it can easily become a full outing. If you're planning a larger shopping trip, using store hold or will-call services can be a smart way to keep your purchases secure while you continue browsing. As someone who pays attention to value and cost of living, I've found shopping in North Carolina--and the Southeast in general--to be refreshingly affordable compared to the West Coast. That difference alone makes places like this especially worthwhile. Bottom line: Easy parking, strong value, and a wide selection of reliable brands. If you shop strategically and avoid peak times, this outlet center can be a very productive and enjoyable place to find quality items at fair prices.

However, I do like the variety of stores and in my case the only osh kosh and carter kids clothing stores in the area. There are multiple parking lots so finding a space has never been an issue. I came during thanksgiving/christmas and the decorations are very nice. They have signage for a variety of holiday events happening (pics of your dog and Santa etc). There is a food court, shake shack, and Starbucks. My kids love the small play structure. It is very small and probably only entertaining for kids 4 and younger. I appreciate the clean bathrooms inside the food court- especially the family restrooms which has a small toilet for kids.

SPLURGE!!! I even love the name!…read more Yesterday I had the delightful pleasure of stopping in and spending some time discovering a boutique in the Myers Park section of Charlotte with a friend who was visiting. Let's just say that if I ever need to start 100% over with clothing...this will be a key stop for my wardrobe rebuild. I'm going to say it out loud...it might be the replacement for me with Ralph Lauren...this was truly an amazing shop with inspired owners who know how to dress tall women. The new LA trifecta may be St. John, Lilly and Splurge! I feel a little dirty for cheating on Ralph! I can't really speak for what they can do for those who are vertically challenged...but man alive, I could have bought 100 things there and been quite happy! Many of the brands they carry, including their phenomenal leather goods from GiGi New York, are sourced and made IN THE USA!!! I bought 11 items and all but one were made in one of our 50 states and I tell you, I just feel better not buying things made in China and being able to buy US goods is an extra WIN in my opinion! Luxurious fabrics-body conscious or flowing fit-and a wonderful mix of both neutrals and color POP pieces......yes, please!! They carry staples, special pieces, lingerie, accessories, lovely jewelry and it's clear they are more curator than buyer. The collections featured as they welcome the autumnal pieces in are clearly thoughtfully considered and edited by women who know not only fashion but what is going to work well with things you've worn for years and new pieces in fresh silhouettes. They are special without being odd. Unique without going on that couture side that is both price prohibitive and typically something you'd not want to be seen wearing in Charlotte. Or beyond a svelte size 2. Reasonably priced, I did not see anything that took my breath away from a tag perspective, just from a DANG THIS LOOKS FABU point of view. This is a boutique where it's not about sales, it is about service. I felt more as if they were facilitating my ability to round out my wardrobe than looking to hit a dollar goal in their cash register. The zest and passion for quality is evident from the moment you walk in the door. I love to support locally owned boutiques, US made items and wear beautifully made clothing. This is a new favorite stop for me, hope it will be for you, too!!

I have bought multiple items from Aritzia before online and at the location in Atlanta and have never had any bad experiences. At the Atlanta location I was always greeted walking in and leaving and the employees were always kind and offered help if needed. I can't say that about this location unfortunately. I walked in and was not greeted by anyone even though two employees were standing near the door. I wasn't too bothered by that at first though and went to the register until I noticed another customer walking in and them immediately greeting her as she came in. Once I was at the register, the employee who was there didn't greet me either nor directed me to which register to go to and had a blank expression on her face. After I returned my item, I decided to walk around and see if they had anything else before I left. I found a top and continued walking around the store before I went to the dressing rooms to try it on. While I was still looking around at some of the clothes, a woman came in with her child in a stroller who was screaming. Instead of trying to ignore the sound and make light of the situation, about 4 or 5 of the employees went and huddled together at the other side of the store talking amongst themselves and staring at the woman and her toddler. Before I went to the dressing room I was looking at another item and an employee was walking past me. I looked at her and smiled and said hi since we were close near each other and she too, just like the employee at the register, had an uninterested look on her face. She replied "hey" to me as well but didn't even make eye contact with me while saying it. The only employee who was helpful at all was the employee in the dressing room. When I was leaving, the two employees standing near the exit said goodbye to the woman who left not too long before me, but again, did not say anything to me when I was leaving. However, when leaving I noticed two other customers walking in and they greeted them and even complimented one of their outfits. I do not want to insinuate or assume that the employees only interact with a certain type of customer based on looks/appearance or etc., but I know that I will not be shopping at the Aritzia Southpark location again.

More than any other boutique, Boem seems to have the most variety of big, bold necklaces...exotic tribal styles, statement pieces, etc.etc. You're sure to find something cute (in apparel or accessories) during your excursion here. I found some of their clothing way overpriced...a ballpark of $200 for some of their tops (even T-Shirts!), for instance. Jewelry isn't cheap either, but relatively cheaper? This is a fairly big store, with a long layout, but they have SO much stuff, it's a bit packed in...and hard to manueuver around, but only if the store is fairly crowded. They do have HUGE, private, walk-in closets though (only 3?)...so plenty of privacy. One other thing I didn't like was that on my last visit, they were playing Country-Western music...which I didn't think fit the look and style of the store at all (unless maybe it's moving in that direction?). Before that, they always played cool, more metro type music. So guess I don't love EVERYTHING about this boutique...but no matter, this is a fun, eclectic boutique...with lots of relaxed, Bohemian styles (very Californian?), which I tend to wear often. Also, like I mentioned, a great selection of chunky necklaces!
