Really disappointed by how far this place has fallen. When we first moved to Roswell, this was our go to spot for Mexican food. Our expectations were never especially high, but it was familiar and convenient. Unfortunately, over time, the red flags have really started adding up. The first major issue was when I ordered the salmon tacos and the salmon was completely raw inside. The shrimp fajitas were also rubbery, with hardly any peppers, and overall the food was below average. We decided to give it another chance today, and unfortunately, it was even worse. While sitting there with soup and tacos and keeping it simple for the kids with cheese nachos, we noticed a giant roach crawling across the floo. The waitress did not see it, but she also barely checked on us throughout the meal. We eventually had to get another employee's attention and ask them to find her so we could even get our bill and pay. The soup was lukewarm, and the kids' nachos barely had any cheese. After seeing the roach, I could not bring myself to eat there, so I had the tacos boxed up to take home. Once I got home and tried them, they were incredibly salty and barely edible. It is honestly such a shame to see a place decline this much. At this point, we will be taking our business elsewhere. From now on, we'll stick with El Portón, Hyde, Hola, Tacos & Tequilas, and pretty much anywhere else. read more

After being in sub Saharan Africa for over three weeks, I was ready for a cold drink with ice and some fresh salsa without worrying about bacterial infections!! So once my parents picked us up from the airport, Mexican was on the docket. We were jet lagged and knew the kids needed someplace that would serve us quick. This restaurant has been many Mexican restaurants over the years, but we had never been to this version! We walked in and were seated immediately. Our server was quick to bring over chips and salsa and the cheese dips that we ordered. Our drinks were always replenished. After weeks in Africa, we needed to scratch the itch for some Mexican food once back in the states. The family decided on Dos Margaritas, so off we went. The staff were friendly and the food came out quickly. We got the queso dip and the chorizo dip. I really liked the chorizo dip. I got the margarita special - shrimp, chicken, chorizo, rice, and queso. It was very tasty - and my kids approved as well. They ended up stealing / eating all my shrimp! We've been here nearly a dozen times or more now over the last 7 years. The patio is a great spot on a sunny day if you're in crabapple. The indoor area has a large bar area with a friendly bartender and a dining room with a large tv. The staff can be hit or miss, but tonight they were great. We sat inside and were quickly greeted and served chips and salsa. The salsa here isn't my favorite in the area but some salt will help wake it up. The chips are usually warm + thin and crispy which my family likes. The steak fajita quesadilla is a nice go to. It's better than the chicken in my opinion and has a creamy queso sauce inside. The margaritas are good here, but while I usually pick a skinny margarita, that's not my favorite here. It's lacking to me - go with the house instead. To comment on the service again, tonight was probably my favorite visit. The server overheard me say it was my son's birthday weekend and brought out churros. Not only was I impressed with her kindness, but they were delicious. I'm not usually a dessert fan, but we will be ordering these again! From the moment I walked in, the restaurant had a warm, welcoming atmosphere with a great ambiance that made it easy to relax and enjoy my meal. The food was delicious, and I can highly recommend this place to anyone in the area. My server, Vanessa, made the whole experience feel special. She was incredibly attentive, friendly, and made sure not only I was taken care of, but all of her tables as well. It's clear she genuinely cares about her customers. We are born and raised from Southern California. We have tried several Mexican restaurants and taco places throughout Roswell, Milton and Alpharetta. Not one has met our expectations. Today we were pleasantly surprised and impressed by Dos Margaritas! My Nana would have approved. It tasted like authentic Mexican food. I literally felt like I was eating at a family member's home. The portions were perfect. My Mom is visiting from So Cal, she dined with me. She ordered the fajitas. There were plenty of peppers and plenty of meat. Her Margarita was delicious too. I had the Tortilla soup, like I said, tasted as if it was cooked by one of my Aunties. Atmosphere was festive. Naomi our server was attentive, service was great. We came here for lunch on a Sunday and sat in the patio. The restaurant is a good size inside and clean. Immediately after sitting at our table, we got chips and salsa. Our waitress was pleasant and attentive. We ordered enchiladas, a grande burrito, fajitas and a shrimp bowl. All were flavorful and the presentation was good. The fajitas came out on a sizzling cast iron plate, the burrito was nice and packed inside and the shrimp bowl was fresh. We also ordered classic margaritas which we made well. This used to be our go to Mexican restaurant because it is so closed to where we live. Unfortunately the last two times we have been there the service has been horrible. We ordered cheese dip but had no chips to eat it with. The waitresses disappear so forget drink refills. To get anything after you place your order you have to go stand at the kitchen door. We were one of a couple of tables so it isn't because they are slammed. They just don't care. I strongly suggest you find another place to eat Mexican in the Crabapple/Milton area. read more

The food is fantastic here. I got the chimichanga and my husband got the Combination (choices of a taco, enchilada, and burrito with bean and rice). He's a picky eater and he loved the enchilada. Every time I have come, it's not that busy. I've never had to wait. However, even though the food is great, their wait staff is meh. I'm not sure if it's due to shortages but the past couple times our servers have not been the greatest. We went Sunday and our waiter took a bit to come to the table. When he did he just said "are you guys ready" he never greeted us, never told us his name, asked how we're doing-nothing. We didn't see him most of the time we were there. This is your standard suburban Tex-Mex spot. First of all, the red salsa they give with the chips is really bad. It tastes like mild tomato sauce to me. Any store bought salsa would be better than this. Thankfully, they offer a very spicy habanero sauce that has a ton of flavor. Just be warned- it is super spicy. They also offer a few different salsas, but I haven't tried those yet. For entrees, I've tried Diablo chicken (spicy and overly salty). For classic Tex-Mex, I stick with cheese enchiladas, and theirs are the ideal Mexican comfort food. The place is pretty sizable so there's rarely a wait. We'll come back here when we want a quick Tex-Mex bite. read more

The food was fine. However, I asked for additional pico and expected a small bowl similar to what they provided for the salsa. I was shocked when they brought out a plastic takeout container which only contained a bit more than a tablespoon. As if that wasn't bad enough, the bill showed a charge of $2.25. I've been going to Dos Margaritas for years. This review is about the Taco Tuesday for Cinco de Mayo COVID edition. I opted for take out so I tried calling ahead but they were so busy I decided to just go and order there. I ordered the grilled tilapia with rice and avocado. Being at home for the last couple of months I opted for a healthy option. The fish was nice and flaky and tasted great with the pick de Gallo. The best part about the restaurant is their salsa. It is hands down the best salsa I have ever had at a Mexican restaurant. I highly recommend getting an order of chips and salsa to go. For Cinco de Mayo, the restaurant blocked off part of the parking lot and had additional out door seating. read more

This is one of the first Resteraunt to open and have table service in the area. On Cinco de Mayo, they were visited by many local residents. What immediately stood out to me was how the staff didn't wear masks or gloves ( nor did many of the patrons). Everything considered, they had my food ready for pickup on time and it was warm when i got there. The portions were reasonably good sized. As Mexican food goes, I would rate them average. read more

Take it from the Yelp Duke of Dos Margaritas - this place has damn good Mexican food. From the thick salsa and crisp tortilla chips, a frosty margarita in a monster sized glass, to a wide selection of Mexican dishes, terrific service and fair prices - DM rocks! The patio is so nice to relax in the Fall weather. I highly recommend their chunky guacamole and their new "bowls". The shrimp bowl is the bomb. DM is on point all the way around. read more

My family and I are regulars at this restaurant, we love it. So, it hurt even worse when the dropped the ball on us. On December 13th I arrived at 6:10 to pick up a catering order that was to be ready at 6:00. I walked into the bar area and they was a group of people drinking and having fun. After a good 5 minutes a blonde breaks away from the " party" and proceeds to ignore me and serve the group more drinks. She tells me " I'll be right with you". After she ignored me some more, Jessie, the man who took my catering order on the phone, tells me I never finalized the order, which I definitely did. He then with no apology, says, 10 minutes and runs off. After at least 20 minutes the blonde bartender shoves a hand held cash register towards me and gives me the total and tells me they gave me cheese dip for free. But, that was a lie, and The cheese dip was at least 30 dollars and they charged me full price for everything. It really is disappointing and to think they know us. Not 1 apology. Extremely disappointed. We were late to our own party. read more

The food was amazing. The service was great. You have to try to Carne Asada it comes to the hot pepper rice and beans and it's mui Bueno. My wife had a taco salad and she said it was the best you ever had. We're from California so that's a big deal... I highly recommend this place and we will definitely be back often read more

My boyfriend lives down the street and we came here for the first time tonight to give it a shot. I wanted to like it but due to this experience... I just can't. We were seated by hostess and sat there for AWHILE before someone came by to get our order. Several servers walked right passed us... when we clearly hadn't been helped as we had no waters, salsa and menus were still down. This went on for about approx 15 min. Finally the hostess walked by and said they would go find the server right away. Our server Kay did come maybe 3 min after that and she wasn't exactly happy about serving us. We put in our whole order right away. Ordered the chunky guac, chicken tortilla soup and my boyfriend had the chicken nachos. Everything was just okay. My soup didn't have a ton of flavor. Same goes for my boyfriends nachos. Took awhile to basically get anything from our server. We needed salt, hot sauce and silverware and just went ahead and got it myself. Overall experience just wasn't great. There are so many other Mexican restaurants nearby that are better so we will just stick to those from now on. read more

I got a little of everything when I came to visit. I truly wanted to see what stood this place apart from your basic text mex restaurants. First off the handmade margaritas are superb. I got the street tacos everyone is talking about. They are very good. If you can't drive out to Buford Hwy, these will not disappoint. The al pastor was my favorite. The stuffed chiles poblanos are awesome. This is something I hadn't seen before. The ceviche was very authentic. I tried the shrimp and the fish one. Anything cooked in lime can be tricky but they mastered it. The chorizo/queso fondido would have to be my favorite. It was not too greasy as other places have it ad it had a nice charred, smoky flavor. A girl could gain a few dress sizes in a place like this, but walk out happy. Overall a great place to hang out, knock back a few drinks, bring friends since they have plenty of large banquet tables. read more

This restaurant is located in a nice area in Roswell, close to the silos. The outdoor seating is nice and the service efficient. The food, however, leaves much to be desired. My wife and I ordered the tacos and enchilada combo with rice and beans. A Mexican staple. Tasted ok. We regretted it about a half hour later! We started bloating badly. Tried to walk it off with a brisk half hour stroll. Didn't help! It's been 2 hours since and we're still feeling it. Don't know how old the food was. Please avoid this place! read more
