Flavorful and delicious! I really enjoyed my meal. They have an extensive menu, with all of the classics and a few more. Their queso is creamy and served piping hot. YUMMMMM! All of the dishes are prepared with care. The portions are large for the price and packed with flavor. The rice was a little overcooked on both of my visits but the flavor is good. The guacamole dip was just alright in my opinion. The house salsa tastes fresh, but if you like it spicy be sure to ask for the red salsa picante. It is intense and worth the burn! I sit at the bar which is near the pass through to the kitchen. The interaction between the staff is lively and entertaining. The staff has always been friendly and efficient. Came here for lunch on a very nice Sunday and was pleased I did. We sat at the bar for lunch and the service from Carlos was friendly, fast, and top notch. I ordered a chori-queso (queso dip with chorizo sausage), a jumbo Texas margarita, and the El Cazuelon. The chori-queso: they did not skimp on the chorizo here. The queso was full of delicious chorizo and the queso was nice and thick, unlike some other places that water it down. It was delicious. The jumbo Texas margarita was DELICIOUS and STRONG. It was very easy to drink...which is both good and bad! The El Cazuelon is steak and chicken covered with chorizo and queso served with rice and refried beans. The steak and chicken were cooked wonderfully and both were easy to cut with just a fork. The rice and beans were super flavorful. All in all my first visit to Dos Margaritas was a very positive one! read more

I would never recommend this place to anybody and I'm someone who absolutely loves Mexican food. These people had me sitting there for 10 minutes. They walked past me three or four times and never said a thing. When one of the guys did say something he went away and was gone for about five minutes. When I decided to get my menu and walk out, he looked me dead in the eyes and pretty much said goodbye, as if me leaving because they had me waiting was no big deal. Don't eat there! It's taken three bad visits in a row to get here. Poor service, 15 minutes to get our order taken (it was not busy), and now my four year old son is up in the middle of the night with food poisoning. Decent food, but truly HORRIFIC service. I've been five times, and the first four the service was merely shoddy -- the waiters never came over without being called, but were at least around enough that we COULD call them. The last time we we went, our waiter (Humberto, I believe) was so absent that we had to flag down another waiter and ask for them to find our waiter. When we finally managed to get Humberto to come to our table, he had a very bad attitude about everything we asked for, even just to have our waters refilled. And we didn't ask rudely -- we were ready to give him the benefit of the doubt and assume that he was busy, not lazy. But we were rewarded with huffiness and slamming down our food on the table. When we talked to him (still politely!) about the poor service and attitude, he did not apologize but insisted that he had done a good job -- and then snottily told us to ask for another waiter next time. We attempted to talk to the manager about it but they were apparently out. I have a lot of respect for wait staff and usually tip 30-50% -- before this night the lowest I'd ever tipped was 10%, and that was for bad service. Humberto was so incredibly rude and arrogant on TOP of being a very bad waiter (it was not busy either -- he had ONE other table) that I left no tip at all. I may go again just to see if the manager heard any of our complaints (which we told to the check-out person and another waiter) and made any changes. If the service is decent then, I'll come back and review the food. read more

This place could be so great if they would train their servers better. Most frustrating part is the hostesses are all up front on their phones while the tables are suffering. We ordered two meals from there. The pork burrito meal was pretty good. I ordered a shrimp quesadilla, thinking it would be the size of a full meal since it was $10 and didn't come with any sides. What I received was a quesadilla on a soft taco shell with five small shrimp inside and not even enough cheese to cover the whole tortilla. It was cold and soggy but I won't fault the restaurant since it was delivery. This item should probably be on the a la carte menu so that customers are aware of its size. read more

Second experience at this Mexican joint and took the bunny this time. She really liked her food having the the pork carnitas dinner. Mine was just ok. The Colorado steak thingy with torts and guacamole salad come with beans and rice. The steak was fairy tender but it tasted kinda like eating nothing but a jar of chili powder if you know what I mean. Service was very average also, so this place gets a three jalapeño average star rating. Toss up but probably would give them another shot if in the area. Would change my order for sure. read more

My family used to come here at least once a week, but Dos Margaritas has gone downhill. I went in by myself for a late lunch, and was pretty much alone in the restaurant. I ordered the Chicken Nachos Super Supreme with no lettuce. A simple request that was to never be fulfilled. The less-than-enthusiastic server delivered nachos supreme with as much lettuce as the cook could throw on there. I ordered super supreme which comes with guacamole, and there was none to be found. It wasn't a big deal to me, so I ate it anyway, but for there to be only three guests including myself, you'd think it would have been an easy enough order to fill. Sorry, Dos Margaritas. Service is the establishments challenge, whether it was they were under staffed or not, don't seat the patrons until you can service them once seated. 30 minutes after being seated before a drink order is even placed. Regardless of how the food is, no customer should be subject to service of this nature. Negative stars on service, food was average only reason they received any stars. read more

I love this place! They have incredible service. The wait staff is very professional. They know my drink, and usually know my order as well. As soon as you sit down the chips and salsa are served. So many places interrupt you every 5 minutes and ask if you need anything else, but not these waiters. They watch you and when you look up indicating you need something they are there quickly. The food and the drinks are the best. My favorites are the fajitas, and the fajitas nachos. I'm going there tonight! ::) read more
