Went to a concert here for the first time. Parking and entering was pretty easy, despite there being a line, but it went fast. Security staff are nice when they check bags etc. when you walk in, there's a ton of stands for food and drinks- although super expensive. I had tickets for the lawn, which was nice! There's food and drinks stands towards the back, and it was easy to find a spot with a good view. Everyone was respectful of each other's space too. The concert itself was great! Was able to hear the singers and instruments perfectly! The only downside was getting out of the parking lot at the end. It took about 45 minutes to just get out of the venue parking lot. But grateful that the Parking was free

So much FUN!

Love nachos from Tim Love booth. Staff is always great. Exiting the parking is always a pain but what concert venue doesn't have parking issue. But still my favorite place to see concerts. I prefer being able to stand and dance to the music with friends vs. in a seat stacked like sardines.

Want to see Glass Animals here, and it was the first time attending it event at this pavilion. The parking was pretty easy to find in the beginning, and the security was a breeze to go through. there's a lot of places to buy food and drinks when you walk in and there's also places to purchase things when you are seated. The seating area and the lawn is pretty well-maintained and clean.

I've seen many shows at this venue and always have a great time. I like that they allow guest to bring in water bottles since summer shows tend to be very hot. My only complaint is that it's a nightmare trying to get out of the parking lot after a concert.

Pros: basically no where has a bad view. Con: summer is a downer. Almost the entire area under cover gets sun between 6 and 8 pm. Wear sunscreen and bring the gallon of water they allow.

I came here for a Bush concert with my husband and son. We had a great time. Parking was convenient and the staff were friendly. I liked the seats we had, they were close to the stage. I enjoyed the variety of foods that they offer. We had Pulled Pork Nachos, French Fries, Pizza and lots of beer. Everything tasted amazing!!! My favorite item to get were the nachos!! Dos Equis Pavilion is a vibe! We all enjoyed ourselves.

The lawn.

Dos Equis Pavilion was not the worst, but definitely not the best. This venue was not prepared for the large crowds wrapping around the building in two directions with no determined line formation. They originally posted that parking would open at 2:00, but then changed it to 12:00. Welp, needless to say, get there ASAP or else you will be stuck in line behind the facility smelling absolutely rank sewer. Once we entered the venue, the layout was decent and the lawn had a pretty good view. The one downside to the lawn (and of course it is Texas) was that I got horrendously bit up by mosquitoes. Employees were friendly and enthusiastic, especially when it came to selling their "COOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOLDDDDDDDD BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEER". Side note: their funnel cake which is $13 was micro mini and definitely not worth the wait and price. Parking I will say was a complete disaster, as it was a free for all with no parking guard/assistant. Overall, I had a great time and felt safe-ish around the venue.

Whiskey peach tea: really good!

Janet Jacson was awesome! However, my experience at Dos Equis Pavilion was dreadful. Too many long lines coming and going. Long lines everywhere! The lawn was overcrowded and could've been a fire hazard. This is how people get trampled at concerts, overselling tickets. The parking lot was a disaster after the concert. My friend and I sat in our parking space for 30 minutes as we weren't even able to get out of our parking space. Where was the staff directing traffic?! The chaotic traffic issue and outside the pavillion was completely unnecessary! Logistocal failure based on greed. Side note: the burger, fries, and Whiskey peach tea I had there were excellent.

From the lawn area. Rob Zombie & Alice Cooper, Aug 2023. It was hot, but still manageable with the breeze. Bring water!

Security: Their security wasn't as stringent as the venues in Houston, but I found them to be thorough and reasonable. They allowed each person to bring one large water bottle, provided that it was sealed and not frozen. We also brought sunscreen and a large sheet for the lawn area. Others brought in their own stadium chairs. Check the guidelines for your particular event before going. Food and Drink: I didn't purchase alcohol, so I can't comment on it. It was pricey though. A can of water is $5, which is typical, but ridiculous. I bought several the first time because it was August and during a heat wave, but after that we brought our own. The food MUST be mentioned. We bought two Campisi's pizzas for about $12 or $14 each plus a tip. If I had taken a bite with my eyes closed, I would have sworn I was eating the box. Whoa, SUPER BAD. Merchandise: Super expensive. Expect to spend $50 or more on a T-shirt, and when they ask you to sign, a tip is requested too. I always give something, but geez. Lawn tickets: Pavilions are my favorite type of venue, and I especially like the lawn seating. It creates a festival-like atmosphere, which is a bit more friendly and casual than being packed in at stadium. If there's someone in front of you who is constantly flailing about and won't sit down, you have the option to move! You have a little more space to move around, and can have a blanket and/or short stature stadium chair. Chairs are available to rent, but a lot of people brought their own when I was there. Sound Quality: I've been here for three concerts: Beck, 50 cent, and Rob Zombie with Alice Cooper. The sound quality was just okay. For whatever reason, the sound quality wasn't as clear as it is at Cynthia Woods Pavilion in the Woodlands/Houston. Parking: Dos Equis has a lot of free parking, so that's a big advantage compared to other venues. I suggest parking in a grass lot outside of the fenced area if you can. Getting out after a show requires a lot of time and patience. Also, watch out for people bringing T-shirts to sell in the parking lot. They will approach your car from the front, requiring you to slam on brakes or hit them. I don't understand why security doesn't put a stop to that. It was especially bad at the 50Cent concert August 2023. Ants: My one major complaint was that the lawn area needed to be treated for ants, so we ended up with bites on our feet. Constantly slapping ants, especially in the dark, isn't my idea of fun. Dos Equis should take care of that pronto! TLDR: Lots of parking, lawn tickets are awesome, reasonable security but look for specific guidelines for your event, do NOT get the pizza. Watch out for ants!

We attended the Santana concert May 06,2023. We were definitely concerned as there was a thunderstorm brewing. Had it come, we would have been stuck! Luckily it broke up and we enjoyed a nice breeze on the lawn. The gates opened at 5:30, but we were in line by 4:30. We entered and walked over to rent chairs, then right up to the lawn. We sat behind section 204 and had an excellent view. The restroom lines moved pretty quick especially when a staff member helped us know which stalls were available. The only issue was getting out of the parking lot when it was over, but moving out a lot of people is going to require patience. Overall our experience was very good, considering we had lawn seating. If it were a hotter time if the year, I'd probably pay for covered seating and bring a mini hand held fan, since the covered seating didn't get the breeze we did.

This was my second time here and I love it. The Texas skyline is a gorgeous view when concerts usually start. Plenty of great food and drinks. Priced high so be aware of that which I feel is typical for a venue like this so I wasn't surprised. The lawn can get crowded so expect that. A lot of standing depending on the vibe. Parking is typical of any venue with tons of people so be patient and expect delays leaving. The sooner you get there the better for an initial spot. Uber can be a bit chaotic too. Overall it's nothing unusual and I can't wait to go back!

If ubering, is it difficult to find the car with a mass amount of people coming out or pretty easy access?

When I went a couple of weeks back, there was a separate entrance for Uber /Lyft rides . Even with the large groups of people it was pretty easy to find our car

Can I bring lawn chairs and an umbrella? I purchased tickets on the lawn and can't find any info about seating there or what I can bring besides small clear bags

No you can't bring lawn chairs or umbrellas , however they do have lawn chairs that you can rent for $10. We and majority of others brought blankets to sit on . Also you can bring a clutch purse or a small wallet . So I suggest if you don't want to… Read more

Has anyone paid for the VIP lounge? Is it worth it?

Clean restrooms, cold beer, good drinks. Easy in and out. It was worth it to me and my Sweetie.

If i buy a seat do people actually sit during the concert or is everyone going to stand the whole time?

They sit and you will enjoy better under cover by the big fans.

Can I bring food and chairs into the pavilion? One website saids I can, the other said I can't. I'm confused

I am going Friday night to show and have lawn seats. I cannot get anyone from Dos Equis to answer phone x 2 days. Can we bring a blanket to sit on? Mixed reviews on here so don't know if I can or not and being all girls don't want to leave minors

Yes you can

Is the VIP Parking Pass worth getting?

No, I really don’t think so. There is plenty of great FREE parking that is very close to the VIP parking area.

Can you bring chairs for lawn seating?

Yes as long as they are short, beach type chairs. They are about 6 inches off the ground. You can rent chairs there but they are $20 each

How good is the view from the lawn? My mom and I have tickets for an upcoming Pentatonix show and we got lawn seating but we both have glasses and long distances are difficult for us.

You can't see too well from the lawn. It's best to get actual seats.

Is the covered pavilion air conditioned?

No, it has large fans that move air, but is not air conditioned and does get hot and humid.

The bartender hooked me up with some really delicious cocktails. Yes she was a real bartender/mixologist she came up with some drinks based off my preferences and they came out just right. The drinks are reasonably priced. I also had their wings and fries. Loved the crust on the wings it was crispy and flaky. The fries were real long hand cut fries. Again reasonably priced. They do add gratuity which is something I really can't stand. I noticed that certain establishments do this and I think it is really low class to do that. To assume that the type of patrons you attract are not the ones that like to tip is again low class. I am a very good tipper and I don't appreciate someone adding something for me. It kills the vibe because while you are taking 18% I might have thought you did an amazing job and wanted to give you 25%. I am not going to point out the places that do this but there is a certain demographic and I don't visit those places after I see how they nickel and dime you for things that are standard at other establishments. With all that being said I really think this is a nice spot that I would like to visit again. Just a night out with the girls.

I can't really comment about the sound because the Buzzcocks played LOUD, but I enjoyed it, even when I went deaf. The opening band wasn't really my cup of tea, so we all went out to the patio. A huge patio at that. It was fun looking at the Dallas skyline and watching the hoochie mama's below going to the Pittpull concert. Hello silicone, but I digress. I didn't really mind paying $4.50 for weak cocktails, or $4 for Shiner, even when it was poured in a plastic cup. The bathroom attendant was so unnecessary, though. Is she always there?
