Dorothy's Alterations - Cropped blazer, sleeves and hemmed pants - Sewing & Alterations Near Me - Henderson, Nevada

Dorothy's Alterations is a hidden gem! Tucked in a quiet neighborhood off of Lake Mead Parkway, Dorothy is an old school seamstress with incredible talent. My wife and I have used her services for dresses and blazers (re-fitting, shoulder modifications, and button replacement). She provides a great finished product and takes the time to do it right! If you have a hard deadline, let her know and see if her schedule allows. Ironically, my two favorite people are in Las Vegas, both of whom go by the name Dorothy; my grandmother and Dorothy the seamstress! read more

Dorothy is wonderful! Not only is she personable, but she is also fair and does the job within a reasonable time frame. I initially found her through yelp after going to a few places to try to get a dress hemmed. Everyone out there were charging ridicoulous prices to get the job done. Its crazy how places want to charge more than what the original dress is worth! Dorothy's pricing was completely within budget, and she was able to get my dress done within a few days! The nicest person doing alterations. Great work and super fast. Miss Dorothy you are the best

Awesome job Ms. Dorothy! Very reasonable in price for services too! I had a brand-new Raiders jersey with a former player's name on it. Instead of buying another jersey, I purchased the new name plate for a couple of bucks on Amazon and had her add it. It came out great and it saved me a couple hundred dollars. Thank You! BTW she operates from the back of her home so other than the small alterations sign on the side of the house you can miss this place pretty easy. Go around the back and into the screened in porch and she has a small shop to the right side of the porch which is enclosed. Would definitely do business with her again. Very nice lady and you will be happy with her product. read more
