It has only been within this year that we have run into scheduling problems. The office has cancelled appointments twice on me because "the hygienist wasn't going to be available that day" and then the next available appointment isn't for another 4-6 weeks. If we have needed a follow up appointment after a regular scheduled visit it can take that same 4-6 weeks to get another appointment. They do run pretty much on time and are efficient when you do arrive for an appointment. Plus they were able to get my husband in within 24 hours when he urgently needed to see a dentist which I did appreciate and gave them an extra star for that.

Was advised by the person answering the phone I should find a local dentist. This dentist was my regular and local dentist. A friend recommended I contact her new dentist. Taking my friend's advise call Aria Dental of Annapolis and they were great. I called them and they set up an appointment on Thursday at 8:30 AM with Dr. Nicholas Daniel. He repaired my plate which is always been difficult to repair. Unfortunately, it did crack again, so on Friday he fixed it with other material, and it is doing fine. The office is state of the art. Everyone in the office was friendly and very helpful. If you need a new dentist this is the place to go and I will be telling everyone about them.

Once it did come in (a few days late), it didn't fit properly. This experience was a total disaster. There are many dentist in the Annapolis and surrounding areas. I would suggest looking elsewhere.

The temperature in the building was uncomfortable for me because I don't like air-conditioning, however, everyone else was quite comfortable. Chrissy, the dental assistant, went and got a blanket for me to aid in my comfort. Now, that's really good stuff. So here's the best part. When the doctor comes in there no lectures about what caused me to be here or anything to make me feel worse than I already do for not having taken excellent care of my teeth. With a pleasant smile the doctor just engage in Smalltalk to break the ice. After reviewing the x-rays he breaks down the "doctorese" language into layman's terms to help me understand everything about my situation, the course that we will take today, and any after treatment. And throughout the entire procedure insured my level of comfort was adequate over and over and over again. The staff is nothing short of high-tech professional to the nth degree. I'm not going to go on and on because I can't say enough about them. From the initial call until the satisfaction I received by having the best dental care I could ever have hoped for. The fact is and will always be that when you deal with people of integrity and professionals who put service before self and aim for integrity first and excellence in all they do you can expect nothing but the best. I consider Dr. Parreira and his team more than just "my dentist" but also my friends. If you are looking for a team that exudes professionalism I highly recommend that you give them a try. I stake my reputation on this recommendation and I know that you will not be disappointed. As you would expect you will receive nothing but the best of care.

My only issue was the heavy meds they prescribe as a matter of course. Another friend mentioned that too. I did not need the oxy pills and I never intended to take them, which I did not. The second time, I had gum grafting done. Again, during the surgery, Dr Di was very caring and professional. My follow up appointment was about six weeks later, and I still was having lots of discomfort and had another adjacent tooth that was numb. That was a very difficult appointment, not because of the doctor, but because of rough handling by the two assistants. I also have never regained normal feeling in the roof of my mouth (the donor tissue site), and it has now been over two years. I was told after the surgery it might take up to a year a year for the nerves to heal. I wish there had been more review of possible complications and negative potential outcomes before surgery. I don't recall seeing an informed consent form or discussing that with anyone on the team.

I had a tooth where the crown came off probably ten+ years ago and after many attempts to glue it back in place, finally it came out and was out for probably seven or so years, during which it became infected periodically, but I did not have it extracted, as I was advised many times over the years. Fast forward, my wife and I moved to the Annapolis area a few years ago and we had to find all new doctors. Dr. Miele was recommended to my wife to do a complex procedure that should have been quite painful, but my wife told me that Dr. Miele performed magic, as her procedure was painless and perfect. Dr. Miele sets the bar to the top as an incredibly warm, compassionate and extremely professional doctor. I think the warm and compassionate traits are somewhat rare in the medical field, my wife and I are truly lucky to have found Dr. Miele. Now, to my procedure, magic! Yep, that's about all I can say. It was the second to the back, top tooth, close to my sinus and tricky to extract without any complications. Dr. Miele, again, demonstrated warmth and compassion, while being a top doctor in her field. These are a lot of words to say that my wife and I recommend Dr. Miele, if we could give 15 out of 10 starts we would. Now, all this being said, the office staff mimics Dr. Miele, they are easily one of the best teams we have ever met. We would also give the entire office 15 out of 10 stars.
