For waxing services, ask for Sabrina or Carla who are both very good. The vibe is relaxed and chill. This is a no frills salon, but it's clean and the customer service is phenomenal. I challenge you to find a better value at a hair salon! :)

I wanted to love this place because of all the great reviews (on here and from a friend) but I must…read morehave gone in on a real bad day because my experience was pretty poor. TL;DR: I scheduled a 30 minute haircut in advance and got a 10 minute rush cut after waiting 20 minutes into my appointment. The result is a curly bob cut 1+ inches too short and crazy uneven. I booked a 30 minute appointment online, and when I came into the salon I waited 20 minutes into this time to finally be called. It was a Saturday and the stylists were backed up, and I can understand that struggle! But I sat for so long without anyone giving me a heads up that they were running late, or acknowledging me at all, really. I have curly hair and the stylist didn't even sit me down in her chair to get a look at what kind of curls I have and how they dry. She put me right under the sink to wash, and when I got to the chair I specified twice that I wanted my hair cut shoulder-length when DRY (just more than a trim from the current length). Instead, she cut my hair so that it barely tickles my shoulders when wet -- and when it's dry, it's over an inch above my shoulder. To boot, it's also crazy uneven all the way around, and puffs out terribly. This all happened in 10 minutes (the last 10 minutes of my 30 minute appointment) I really believe this salon must live up to the reviews on better days, but I've personally never had such a hasty and impersonal haircut and such bad results, so I don't think I will be returning.

Also, the keratin at this salon is awesome if you're considering a keratin treatment. I've done it twice and my hair never feels damaged. The girls are quick, affordable, good, and flexible. The first time she did it it was around June / July 2024 and that turned out great she said that my hair would have to be redone once it grows out in about 3-6months I opted to wait the longest period namely six month. Me not knowing anything about hair. It took her word for it. That was the worst advice ever. I went in to see her in January of 2025 for a touch up. And this is where disasters started !! She told me it would be $200., If she bought the product as she was struggling to find the product. However, I found the product easily and I ended up buying the product which was $85 out of my pocket and I was still charged the $200. So basically, I paid $285. My hair was so extremely over processed, she allowed her non licensed assistant who does not know how to do a rperm to take the primary in doing my curly perm, which a perm in general is a very delicate process. I reached out to Mabell multiple times I sent her various photos and videos of my hair, showing the damage and the breakage and the fish hooks. It truly broke my heart that she offered me no solution. Or even responded. I am now going to another hairdresser. Who's helping me repair my hair. I just want accountability. This is a woman that has been doing my hair 4 years. I've been working on growing my hair for several years now., especially losing my hair after being put on cancer medication's, I've been growing it steadily for the past four years and now I have to start that journey over again. And I couldn't get as much as a text message. She left me on read multiple times. I'm deeply disappointed because up until this point we've had a really good relationship. Not to mention, my hair is in shambles, and I am forced to wear braids Which I normally don't do! The whole point of the curly perm was for me to wear my natural hair more and manage it more easily. I've attached before and after photos of my hair down below.. My hair no longer goes into its beautiful curly Afro that I worked so many years to build and strengthen. Poris mess and I am heartbroken. The whole back lower half of my hair completely snapped off the other portion of my upper head has broken off in various locations leaving me showing bald spots when my hair is pulled up. It's awful! DO NOT GO THERE EVER
