I ordered the Tofu Yakisoba ($7.89 plus HST), which was cooked hot and fresh on the grill after I paid. The good portion of Tofu Yakisoba filled the plate, which was very tasty and flavorful. The Yakisoba had a mix of fresh vegetables (carrot, broccoli, cabbage), bean sprouts, firm tofu pieces tossed with thick noodles in a zesty Asian sauce. The next order; as an appetizer I ordered softshell crab appetizer, they sent the roll, again I swept it under the rug. This third order was the straw that broke the camels back: I'm done. My order compared to what I got, is in in the pictures. Ordered spicy salmon roll - got Tuna Maki. Ordered Negi-Hamachi (suppose to be yellow tail and green onion), got a salmon roll. Not maki with avocado or even tempura bits; just rice and salmon. Vast cost difference. I got the Alaskan roll I ordered, but that is mine and the other two are my kids rolls, so I clearly won't eat in front of them. I'm done. It's counter service and not that quick, based on this, my first visit. The takoyaki were very decent, sadly the yaki udon with beef was rather disappointing. Quite bland, some of the beef was chewy and the vegetables likewise lacking in flavour, especially the corn. Worth another visit to check out the sushi, though it looks like the prep' is done elsewhere.
