I drive back to Forney for a pedicure. This review is for the guys who want to feel confident about getting their feet done at a nail salon that welcomes their feet and money. This salon does. The quality has always been great here. There is a complimentary drink plus nice massage chairs. The technicians don't stay here long, so it's hard to find the same technician twice. I highly recommend you do an appointment. If not, expect to wait. Come on guys. My feet are rough and when I leave here I can feel my socks. (Smiling)

She ended up being nice afterwards and we did have a small chat so I went ahead and got my pedicure. The man who did my pedicure was rude! He asked what color I wanted and if I wanted white, I thought he was joking so I laughed it off and said no...well I'll be got darned he tried to put white on my feet anyways, I told him I did not want white and m with an attitude he asked me well then what color do you want? I asked him to see a book and I just hurried and picked something so I could go. Do not recommend and I will never go back. I should not have tipped but I always tips base of 15% but I regret that.

I've been to all but one of the nail salons in Forney over the years and have grown fond of the technicians who cared for my feet but the establishment struggled to keep good technicians. They tend to migrate to the new nail shop that opens. I'm happy to say Lemon Drop Nail Bar has hired most of my favorite pedicure technicians. If you lost your favorite technician at a previous place come on over, they maybe here. The place is clean, efficient, and the staff is polite. When I first came I did my feet and nails. I didn't care for the person who did my manicure so I didn't do the combo again but I will give them another shot with the manicure.

From MY experience. I'm not given the royal treatment like my family. Sometimes the options can be overwhelming and takes me a while to decide. I don't like feeling rushed or pushed for something that I may not want. Then I feel nervous asking for anything, change my choice, an explanation of what kind of special I selected and what the difference is. The technicians can be easily irritated and that's not a welcoming nor a returning experience I want. I'm already stressing about paying and just want to make sure I like the choices since they're long term nails. I've paid for a treatment and received the bare minimum. No massages, no special scrubs or hot towels... when I asked they said I paid for the basic.... When it's the same thing I get when my family comes.. additional add ons can be charged if you want a shape or style, kind of bizarre. They pick and choose the timeframe they want. I'm sure I'm not the only one who doesn't like the bottom of my nails to be full of gunk nor the sides of my nails digging in.
