Warm caramel apple cider
Chanel T.

Went to this cider house with my sister while back in town visiting family. I've been wanting to try since it opened recently and was happy I finally had the chance. The menu had a nice selection with various cider choices, seltzers and even a moscato. I made the visit worthwhile by trying literally everything on the menu and each choice didn't disappoint! I did end up finding a favorite which was the warm caramel apple cider. I am looking forward to visiting again and seeing what other flavors will be offered in the future. Definitely worth checking out!

Made a 2nd visit to "The Property" by Nova Destinations in Pulaski for an afternoon of munchies and…read moredrinks with the family. With four separate mini destinations, each with its own alcohol and food menu, The Property is has become one our family "must go" locations to get together. There was some off and on rain when we went but each location on The Property provided shelter until the clouds passed. Nothing stopped our little party and we had fun with the sprinkles. We also brought our fur baby Boo who was welcome at all buildings both indoors and outside with her leash. The staff was very friendly and kept us well served with food and delicious drinks. My favorites include Nova's blended sweet wine The Dragon, a Concord Red wine, and Skallywag Distilling's Limoncello. After roaming the various locations (shuttle is also provided if you desire) you can collect your own bottles of your favorites in the building at the exit. That way you aren't lugging your choices throughout the day.

When we arrived there was a big sign that said the winery was closed for a private party(Awwwww!). The only thing opened was the brewery. While they served wine it was a huge let down! Our group had beer, seltzer and wine and they were okay but not the best we've had. Ambience wasn't quite what we expected. The only positive was the live music. The singer did acoustic rock music and was very good! If you're going to check this place out it Sounds like the best days to go here is on Friday and Saturdays when everything is open. Maybe if I was a local I would come back for the live music but I certainly wouldn't drive an hour to come back here again.

It's nice to have a winery in the area to go with all the great Italian places…read more L'uva Bella seems to specialize in the sweeter fare, with several fruit wines including Apple, Blackberry, and Blueberry to compliment some more familiar flavors like Niagara, Catawba, and Muscat. Additionally, the Youngstown Red is reminiscent of the parties you'd have with the whole family down in grandpa's basement kitchen. When in town, I love to visit here and enjoy some classic red sauce Italian and imbibe with a flight of wines. There are plenty to try. If you are into those big, bold and dry flavors you get from Cabernet Sauvignon, this might not be your first choice in wineries, but L'uva Bella is one of only a few you'll find in the area and one of a kind when you consider the delicious meals that they plate.

I had a pizza which was absolutely delicious. The crust was light, crispy and cooked to perfection. My wife had the gnocchi with filet tips. The gnocchi was the best we have had in quite some time and the filet was cooked and seasoned perfectly. The tiramisu was lack luster but did not take away from the night. Would like a better beer selection but it's a wine place so........ very relaxed inside with some saxophone and singing.

Very inviting we sat at a table with a cloth table covering some tables had them and some didn't but it worked aesthetically! I ordered fish and chips came with coleslaw and fries. My friend had the Lobster rolls with sweet potato fries! My fish and chips came and the fish was ok but the fries were soggy and the coleslaw I didn't even eat it just looked bad. I should have returned it but I had not seen my friend in a long time and didn't want to make a fuss. I had told her I had the lobster roll before and it had been good. When hers came I would have never guessed it was lobster . It looked like small tiny pieces of the leftover lobster from inside a shell . Wasn't chunks of lobster. For 25 dollars I would rather get one roll full of big chunks of lobster and even pay more for a better lobster roll. Very disappointed . You have a beautiful facility and good service but disappointing food . Came back on Friday with a group of people only because I had made reservations and could not change them in time . We sat outside this time in a high top table. It was a beautiful evening. We would have stayed longer but the chairs were so uncomfortable we left as soon as we were finished. Our service was great can't complain about that . Most of the food was ok . I had tuna on top of my pasta the tuna was very good and the pasta was good just a little dry it could have used a lot more sauce . Maybe some good rolls or garlic bread to go with it. Same with the salads that a served you really need something to break up the monotony of eating pasta or a salad without a nice piece of bread to go with it. Just a suggestion because that's one of the comments from most at the table that had salads or pasta dishes . We ordered the homemade chips as an app for the table they were good everyone enjoyed them . I love the place it's very nice . Again get the food right . Especially the lobster roll. Put something in it that resembles lobster . Charging the same for one good roll is better than two bad ones !

A Long Overdue Return to Mastropietro Winery…read more We finally made it back to Mastropietro Winery after seven years--and what a perfect day for it. It was a quiet winter afternoon, but with a surprising twist: a hot and sunny 77-degree day that felt more like early summer than mid-winter. Naturally, we took advantage of the weather and enjoyed our wine outside, soaking in the sunshine and peaceful atmosphere. I realized I'd never taken a photo in front of the iconic Mastropietro sign--so this visit felt long overdue in more ways than one. We sampled several wines during our visit, and I was really impressed. The Vidal Blanc stood out right away--off-dry, estate-grown, with just a touch of oak that gave it a subtle, elegant complexity. The Riesling was bright and delicious, and the Cabernet was smooth and easy to enjoy. But the real star for me was the Chambourcin--absolutely fantastic! If I heard correctly, it's 100% Chambourcin and estate-grown as well, which made it all the more special. Mastropietro continues to impress, and this visit reminded me why it's such a gem. Cheers to great wine, unexpected weather, and coming back to places that feel like home.

We had such a good experience the first time, we had to come back again when we were nearby. My wife prefers dry wines, I prefer sweet wines, but I'm open to all types. We both found several things we like here and were pretty surprised at the quality of the wine. We did a flight each time we went and bought bottles to go when we left both times. We don't always buy bottles unless it's something we both can enjoy together. The place had a lot of character. Someone put a lot of thought and work into the decor, design, and atmosphere of the place. It was artistic and comfortable. I always appreciate that. We chose to sit at the bar both times, but enjoyed looking around at the walls and taking a trip up the stairs for a nice overhead view of the first floor. The service was great and really is the selling point for returning. It's the number one reason that we'll go back again when we're in town. The wine tasted great, the atmosphere was nice, but it's the service that puts this place over the top. Hopefully we will always have this experience, but I do believe we had the same couple serving us both times. I'd obviously highly recommend anyone who enjoys drinking wine, going to wineries, or trying out new places.

I first discovered this little charming cidery and winery from my partner who had tried the cider elsewhere. Returning from Erie, he found that we'd be passing Knocking Noggin so we swung by. We've made the trip three times now. We've only been disappointed once when my partner and I bought 4 growlers for a gathering we were having and none of them tasted good. Something happened where they were either mixed or went bad in a matter of two days. I reached out to management, and they quickly responded with apologies offering to provide us with complimentary refills. We brought our growlers back just as promised and they were refilled at no charge. Some of my favorite ciders have been the seasonal ones including Butter Beer, Pineapple, and Chocolate Strawberry. Pineapple is my top one hopefully coming back in the summertime. If you have the chance, visit this place during a town festival or even when nothing is happening to just have a wine slushy or glass of wine out on the patio.
