I come here every time I come home. Meet my family and friends here play chess, smoke, drink, enjoy the atmosphere. Usually have a pleasant experience. However today changed my opinion of this place. We had a tab open drinking beers watching TV and A women with black hair, who I think was a manager, kept coming by and turning the volume down on the TV. So low In fact that we couldn't hear the program. I found it very odd due to the volume not being that loud. We were told that we should move up front and watch the TV if we wanted to hear it. Mind you we were the only patrons in the shop at the time. She did this twice before we got up and left. Is a shame I really enjoy coming here. Don't know what her problem was or why she didn't give a explanation to why she kept doing that. Found it crazy and rude that an employee would get in a volume war with a customer. read more

I can't believe that such a cool place to buy cigars, coffee and alcoholic beverages has such a ridiculously rude and unpleasant staff. You never know what kind of customer will come into your establishment. I probably spend $10,000 on cigars a year and about half that on coffee and alcoholic beverages. I don't expect to have my ass kissed, I just want some common courtesy as a customer. I asked for a little help twice and I felt like I was disturbing the employees and wasn't welcome there. I found all of your employees rude and lazy, except for ONE of them that really saved the day. I wish i could remember his names, he was the only one keeping me from walking out. He also seemed to be the only one eager to help and greet customers and spend maximum amount of time helping them with their orders. I was so worried the first time I wanted to get great cigars, but the staff was so knowledgeable that they immediately knew what direction to go in and helped me build a beautiful gift basket. Well to be honest.... I think it's a pretty cool cigar bar! But being a tourist to the area, way older to where they don't even have to ask for ID, I am not sure what the "Normal" is in this area! Nice place and a pretty good beer/wine selectionstopped in today about 10:30am killing time waiting on a car repair. Looked around a bit, and decided, why not, I'll have a beer. Took a bottle and sat down at the bar, one employee was on the phone, and the other two were carrying on a conversation about half the length of the bar away from me. Only one other guy sitting at the bar while i was there, gave it a few minutes, gave a head bob type motion to the only employee looking in my direction. Nothing. Sat there a few more minutes, stood up to take beer back to cooler, got a call just then and walked out. I can't see why I'd return, I'll stick with Vintage Estates, Casual Pint, BJ's Brewhouse, etc. They all have excellent service. read more

This is a great place to find your new favorite adult beverage! I go there on a regular basis to smoke some cigarettes with friends and family and we love to try out their large selection of beers. The fridges in the back have so many different things to try, you can never get bored going there. I went here to find a wine for a date night I was setting up for my boyfriend and I. I don't drink and I know next to nothing about wine, (ask my old coworkers about finding the merlot in the fridge... oops.) but the gentleman who approached me listened to what I was looking for and asked me a few questions. He showed me so many wines and helped me narrow it down by asking more questions. In the end, I got a unique wine that my boyfriend thought was really good and he loved the label, which I thought was quirky and cool too. I wanted to give him a unique beer too, so the same man helped me pick out a beer for my boy, who likes stouts but hasn't tried many brands. He loved that too. The staff is very friendly an will help you out if you need a suggestion or recommendation. They know their stuff, trust me on this one. Great selection of cigars, wine, and beer. They don't carry the usual Miller, Bud, or Coors. They carry some awesome microbrews, craft beers, and other rather interesting beers. Uneducated manager did not accept an out of state Wisconsin ID. He came across as very rude after looking at both mine and my girlfriends ID for 5 min. Then when his cell phone rang he answered it. Lotto Players: Beware when cashing in winning lotto tickets. This place has a habit of cheating players when paying out winning funds. It has happened to me more than once. May play there but will never cash in winning tickets there again. Employees were friendly in the past until I complained. I was then treated harshly and basically thrown out without the cash I was owed. Highly disappointed and will be contacting the lotto commission regarding such treatment. read more
