The owner was super sweet and told us she tried to source unique wines that we won't just find at the supermarket which I appreciate. You get a card to swipe to sample the wine type and size you want and it shows you how much you've spent which is nice so I don't go too overboard. They have red white and rose so something for everyone. They also have some small board games to entertain you. The seating and vibe is so cute and comfy and we can't wait to come back.

The decor is very 1987, but it works. I loved the old Budweiser horse light, the Spud Mackenzie lamp and the carpeted dj booth...I really did. You knew you come in, drink a beer and just have fun. If you are looking for a corner bar, good fir a shot and a beer and even better people watching, Terry's is the place to be.

Tons of cigar options, Cuban coffee, and a full bar are available for purchase. The owners are great. They are active on social media and run specials/have events almost weekly. I don't smoke (I visit with my husband who is into cigars) but I can highly recommend the cafecito. I like it here a lot - it reminds me of my time in Little Havana in Miami. There is plenty of comfortable seating both upstairs and downstairs. Most of the parking is down the hill in the back. For a brand new business, they are off to a great start!

BottleHouse was another stop on out Cleveland Brewery tour. We ordered burgers from the kitchen and…read moreenjoyed a couple of beers. We arrived early so there were not many people there. Around 5:45p the entire place was full. We were able to park in the back lot they share with a coffee shop next door. The lot is not huge so if it is busy you would likely have to park on the street. Eugene is name of the kitchen. They have a limited menu, but what they make is very good. We ordered at the window and took a number to our table. The service was quick and staff were friendly. While we water for food it was the perfect time to decide what we were going to drink. They were offering a hybrid cider/IPA made with Koji and in conjunction with Larder. It was so refreshing. I would definitely order it again. The space is rustic as described and spacious. There is a party room and patio. I am looking forward to visiting the BottleHouse in Cleveland Heights.

My…read morefriend and I visit our respective BottleHouse locations - she's a regular at the West Side location, I sometimes visit the East Side location. We just spontaneously attended book swap at Lakewood BottleHouse. It was my first visit to BottleHouse out West. AMBIANCE: The ambiance simultaneously caters to various guests. It's refreshing to see this at the brewery. There's a large wooden bar perfect for guys' nights. Secluded room with twinkling bottles descending from the ceiling that's ideal for celebrations. Enclosed patio for friends' get togethers. Large open space for groups and events. More dim area for intimate dates. I personally found the dim area to be too dim for my eyes. I love that one can go to this mead hall, and experience a different setting every single time. FOOD/DRINKS: BottleHouse Lakewood has a kitchen as opposed to the East Side's food partnerships/pop-ups. We didn't order food but the book swappers were raving about their fries. My friend and I were most interested in our BottleHouse favorite - mead. I tasted their sweeter meads before and loved them. I ordered Metropolis mead this time (highly recommended by the bartender). My mead was the color of bold red wine. Metropolis was described as a semi-dry black currant apple mead with spices (clove and allspice). This mead wasn't my favorite, it was too acidic, bitter, and bold. For the pour size it wasn't worth over $12. I more gravitate toward golden and light meads. While I won't be sipping on Metropolis again, I look forward to checking out other meads here. If you're also a mead fan, find the list of their four meads in red on the chalkboard at the bar. SERVICE: Service was amicable. Most service was self-initiated at the bar. Drinks and food can be ordered at the bar. Your servers will find you by the number you will be provided. I look forward to visiting this location to taste other meads. Unlike other nearby businesses, this spot is open on Sundays late into the evening. It makes it an ideal low key hangout spot for Sunday spent with friends in trendy Lakewood.

We arrived around 10pm and it was a nice-sized crowd for first timers. You could tell they had a bunch of regulars, which is comforting when trying a new business. Unfortunately, I don't recall the flavors we tried, but it came highly recommended. They told us to pick a seat and they'd bring everything out for us. They were also kind enough to show us how to put it together and use it without embarrassing us lol. We stayed for about 2 hours and there was a pretty decent crowd by the time we left. Honestly, if I didn't stay so far, we'd probably be here on a regular basis. This is place to take your friends if you're looking for a laid back night, while still looking for the "going out" experience.

This brewery feels like it's in a quiet residential neighborhood because it is; nearby is a wine by but otherwise it's picturesque streets and homes. Going inside it looks a little unremarkable, like a garage brewery anywhere. But inside it's special. The main bar room is like an open barn, with warmth tasteful decor. Behind the bar is an antique ice chest, used to display their merchandise. They have a small menu of tasteful styles; we all got to talk to one of the brewers who was clearly proud of what they make. Further inside there are other rooms for private events, working brewery areas, historical decor, and restrooms at the end. The real draw here though is the outdoor beer garden: wood chip floor, big comfy Adirondack chairs, picnic tables, high tops, fire pit areas, basically any type of seating for groups or singles. Big trees, ivy, green everywhere; it was so relaxing enjoying our flights as cyclists and others came in and out through the gate from the street. The beer was also great, delicious quality and reasonable prices. This is a must-visit brewery in Cleveland, you sure don't feel like you're in a city when you're here.
