What else could I possibly do to celebrate this monumentous occasion, other than by purchasing a victory cigar? The answer is nothing. Enter: Royal 10. I walked in and said, "I know absolutely nothing about cigars, other than the fact that I want one." He was re-watching Game 7 and knew why I was there. He suggested something mild, which sounded good to me. In the past, I've smoked a cigar and felt like a walking chimney the next morning. I was nervous that this would be the case again, but it couldn't have been further from reality. I couldn't even tell that I'd had a cigar the day before, when it came to the next morning. I really came to appreciate Royal 10 even more, when a month later, I smoked a cigar because of a promotion, and didn't have the same good fortune. I wish I could tell you what kind of cigar it was, but since I have on idea, I'll just call it a championship cigar :)

The selection was good, though when I went, their humidor was running a bit low. Still, I found a Romeo y Julieta among their stock that was relatively well priced for the brand and the size. The lounge itself has good seating and a few TVs around the perimeter, and they can open up outdoor seating too, apparently. I stayed inside and enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere. BYOB, they don't serve alcohol here; just bottled water and soft drinks.

The music vibe was great playing a mix of soul and R&B which is right up my alley. Im addition to a solid cigar selection, I recommend the Arturo fuente hemmingway, they also offer some drinks and coffee as well and have very comfortable seating and whatever you want on the TV. You can redeem stamps for complimentary cigars, rare pours, limited cigar samplers, and invite-only tasting nights.You can initiate a membership with a host and manage it digitally in your wallet. You don't have to be a member to visit. My knowledge of cigars is limited. I smoke one cigar per year. I was so enthusiastic about private events and rare pours that I immediately joined upon visiting this space. DINNER: You can dine at Edwin's before or after your visit. The neighborhood Cedar Fairmount also has other popular dining destinations. The area also has few fine boutiques - clothing, decor, and wine. Walk around and appreciate the architecture too! PARKING: Free parking is available across the street for Edwin's guests. Valet parking is an option. Street parking is hard to come by. Be sure to watch signage if you are parking on the street. My only criticism is that I have no idea when the events or special functions are held even as a member. I wish that there was a calendar for members to reference. I will ask more questions while visiting next time to attend all the special nights. I would recommend a visit to the cigar bar to anyone. It feels not pretentious yet exclusive. I found it to be inviting and fun. I really need to commit more time to visiting the cigar bar.
