I called the store this morning to see if they had a certain cigar in stock for a Christmas gift. The guy was very friendly on the phone, I stopped in to pick them up. I didn't look around because I had other errands to run but the place was very nice and the service was impeccable. I was able to purchase the 3 of the cigar that I was looking for and I will say the price was great. I stopped at a different cigar shop in Avon and the price for the same cigar was $3 bucks more than here. Overall I will be recommending to my husband which is who I bought the cigars for that he needs to check this place out. read more

I'm no cigar aficionado, but I do know quality when I experience. Further, I've had the opportunity to experience a couple other cigar lounges and this one stood out. What does it for me is the nice atmosphere, with a couple of lounge areas and comfortable, quality seating. the ventilations is also good. Also, they have a great selection. I visited with a knowledgeable cigar enthusiast and he was able to find a lot of options. Finally, the staff is knowledgeable. In the area for a function and did what I always do when traveling , went right to Yelp for local businesses. Saw this place and it looked nice, after visiting it I can tell you it is a great place. Nice building, great selection including some harder to find sticks, and the prices were very competitive. Staff were friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Stayed and burned some of what we bought, enjoyed the shop a lot. It was the kind of shop I'd love to be my local go to and hit up several times a week. The fact that I'm reviewing a cigar shop is shocking even to me! The boyfriend wanted to check it out to have a cigar and I'm so happy I decided to join! The inside is like a wealthy grandpa's reading room -- dark wood, leather, high top tables -- and it has a great vibe (though they could dim the lights just a tad!) The main thing that I really love and appreciate the place is that no one has ever made me feel uncomfortable for being a lady in a cigar shop. Even when I asked for "girly cigars" -- true story. The gentleman simply directed me to some nice cherry and vanilla ones they offer. The guys who work here are so genuinely helpful and knowledgeable! I'll always go out of my way to get to this cigar store over others. I've tried a few in the area, and they've been decent - but this one takes the cake. Huge seating area, that you can bring food into. Lots of leather and old-style decorations. Great ventilation. Beautiful walk-in humidor. Rows of jars of pipe tobacco. And the employees have great advice; some of my favorite cigars I've found because I've listened to their advice (Crowned Head Las Mareas is so wonderful). They have events at least once a month where they have deals on some of their stuff. There's very little that I can't get there. read more

I am a cigar enthusiast, but not an aficionado. With that said, I know a good selection when I see one, and know a good overall joint when I experience it... This place is awesome. The selection is very nice and has something for every taste and the lounge area is spacious and very comfortable. The proprietor, who's name embarrassingly escapes me, is a really nice guy and extremely knowledgable. This is by far the best cigar place in the Cleveland area in my opinion. As much as I'd like to keep this place a secret so it doesn't become overrun I always like to see small businesses succeed! Get here! read more

Went to Robusto & Briar on Saturday to purchase cigars to take with me to The Oktoberfest. Right away, Patrick greeted me to his establishment, and began to ask what it was I was looking for. We discussed the best way to re-season my humidors and what I was looking for in a cigar. Then, I was shown the walk in Humidor. Very impressed. Carries all the major brands (at least those I am aware of). Patrick is very knowledgeable on Cigars, as he should be. He is not there to sell you the most expensive cigar, but works with you on your budget. I could go on, but this is one Shop you NEED to experience. On a side note; I spoke with several individuals at Oktoberfest who has visited Robusto & Briar. They were also impressed with this establishment and are destined to return. As I will once I get my humidors up and running. He also invited me back to enjoy a cigar in his lounge area. West coast kid here, saw some nice reviews for this spot...So I figured I would check it out. I was quite pleased with this shop. Great selection. Friendly staff(Patrick). I needed a lighter, that's all I needed, knew what I needed. Although, I wanted more. Patrick was very knowledgeable with cigars and helped me discover more sticks. ALSO! There was an event at another B&M that he recommended I check out! I always love when shops recommend other shops, I'm into that whole brotherhood rather than rival type of thing. To say I'm impressed is an understatement. I picked up some familiar products and some new ones.....Smoked a new one there, if I'm in the area for work again, this will be my first stop! The staff and owner are extremely knowledgeable in everything related to cigars, pipes, and tobacco and create a welcoming atmosphere for men and women alike. They have a wide range of cigars in their humidor, as well as a good selection of loose tobacco if cigars aren't your thing. They also have a solid selection of anything you need to enjoy your experience, including lighters, matches, cutters, pipes, boxes, and free wifi! There's plenty of little spots in walking distance to bring back a pizza or some beer for your visit. Even when they are busy, it's still a very relaxing and fun atmosphere. Probably my favorite place in North East Ohio. I take all my friends from out of town to this spot. The selection is incredible and their customer service is always the best. They always introduce me to knew cigars based on what I like. Extremely comfortable environment. No matter what level of cigar smoker you are everyone in there is welcoming and friendly from the staff to the customers. I wouldn't spend money at any other cigar bar. Actually a nice, cool space - needed on the westside of Cleveland. The service, however, is awful. Met the owner on Saturday and he couldn't have been more impersonal. We had a group of 5 meeting for cigars and drinks. We wanted to move a chair so that we could sit together. After we moved it, he came over to tell us that it was blocking a fire path!!! - what a bunch of BS. Had he addressed the situation better, it would have been better received. He was more interested in making sure we knew he was the owner and that he was responsible for putting the place together. All in all, zero personality. Certainly was expected more from a cigar bar!
