Worst experience with this company. We were given a final price, explained 50% deposit would be required and the remaining balance paid upon completion. We were initially told 6 weeks to have the work completed. The deposit was paid on March 24, 2025, and the work was expected to be completed the second week of May. The second week of May came and went and we reached out to confirm the completion of the job. Numerous texts, calls, and voice mails were left and a week went by and still had heard nothing, no returned calls, texts, etc. Finally after a week and a half we were contacted and given a much later deadline than anticipated. The job was finally complete at the beginning of this month in June. The job took two times as long and the customer service was the worst I have ever received in my life. Excuse after excuse as to the delay in work and return of phone calls. We asked for a refund of our deposit which the company was willing to give but we decided to go ahead and complete the job with Doors Custom. The day the job was completed and I arrived home to see the finished work, it was trash. The painting had splotches like the paint had merely been slapped up and the door handles loose to the touch, warping of the doors themselves and there were stains on my walls where it appeared hands had been wiped (silicone type substance). After paying close to $3,000 for the custom door we asked for a discount for the dissatisfaction and were told the price was the price. I explained a discounted price should of been considered for the unprofessionalism, poor work details, and unsatisfactory result. Finally after, a week we were given a 10% discount however, in my personal opinion I don't believe we should of paid the remaining balance as we literally had to rehire someone else to fix and correct the poor workman ship of our door. It cost us way more than anticipated and the customer service and workmanship of the door were the worst we have ever received. If you have other options to get a door from elsewhere I'd suggest to use other options. Doors Custom is going to cost you more than you want to pay and have no knowledge of what customer service is really about. I will never recommend them to anyone and hope no one else falls victim to this company. read more
