We are so happy with our new door conversion! Our main goal was to bring more natural light into our home, and it exceeded our expectations. The door is absolutely gorgeous, and the amount of light it brings in is even more than we anticipated. Diego completed the installation. He was such a professional and pleasure to chat with. Communication throughout the project was flawless, and everything went exactly as promised. We couldn't be happier with the final result and would highly recommend. read more

It's incredible that a business like this even exists anymore. Doing business with Door Conversations is like going back into time, it's absolutely amazing. It starts with Claudia who answers the phone , and yes you actually get to talk with a real human being. Claudia is awesome, her customer service skills are second to none and more importantly they're genuine. If she can't answer your question, she will call you back within 15 minutes with an answer. So in other words she won't give you some BS answer just to get rid of you. She cares. Second Vic one of the owners comes over and does a demonstration on how the door conversion works, it basically sells itself. A door with glass and wrought iron beautifully designed that also opens to create a screen door to capture the breeze. It's brilliant. Lastly Diego his son comes and does the door conversion that takes 2 hours tops. He reinforces the hinges and makes sure the door is in perfect working condition. He's one of the most polite and professional young men I've ever met. He won't leave until you're 100% satisfied. All communication in between Vic and Diego is done by Laura the other owner and Claudia. It was an absolutely amazing experience from start to finish. Worth every penny, new door without the hassle of putting in a new door frame and all the hardware. read more

We had Door Conversions upgrade our front door and it turned out great. We went from a plain solid door to adding a glass insert with iron detail, and it completely changed the look of our entryway. It lets in so much more light and looks way more custom. Diego did the work and he was professional, on time, and easy to work with. The install was quick and clean, and everything came out exactly how we hoped. Very happy with the result and would definitely recommend them -- especially Diego! read more

I had Door conversions replace my front door several years ago. I was extremely happy with the previous ownership and recommended them to many neighbors . I recently had a problem with the door latches ! I called door conversions to ask for their assistance to remedy the problem. I found out that the owner had sold the company and the new owner wanted to charge me $150 to come out and look at the door! Apparently the warranty is no good! so new buyer beware! read more

Top Notch Family Owned Company Full Circle. From pre sales to installation, you can tell right away that Quality of Service & Product is top of mind. Diego did our install and was a Joy to work with, we laughed most of the time he was here and his attention to detail both inside and outside was perfection, "Very Clean"! We purchased a model home and the entryway was dark, and rather than purchasing a new $8,000 door with glass and a screen-door for another $2K, this gave us the best of both worlds for much much less. We would recommend Door Conversations to anyone and everyone that's looking for that 1st great impression when someone walks into your home, OUTSTANDING!!! read more

Our hallway entry was always so dark. I found Door Conversions in The Home Mag which is handed out at the annual January Cal Expo Home Show. I was a tad skeptical how a door conversion would add light to a room, but I was floored with the final product ... it's AWESOME! I met with Laura, one of the owners, who came to evaluate. We chose the metal screen since we have a dog, and even customized the metal wrought iron insert to match our patio wrought iron fence with a few wine leaves. You can choose a fabric mesh screen material but we preferred the added security of a metal mesh screen. Diego who installed the insert was so friendly and explained the install process. The metal screen is on the outside so we can open the tempered glass insert to allow for airflow, and our dog to bark at whoever walks by the house. It was SO worth the money. THANK YOU LAURA AND DIEGO! read more

Door Conversions was top notch all the way. Communication was very good from initial contact to completion of the project. It was very easy via texting. Vicente arrived for the initial estimate and measuring right on time. Punctuality is big with us as it shows pride in their work and professionalism. He was very friendly and patient ensuring that we chose the exact conversion to fit our needs. He allowed us to choose but also gave us his professional opinion on what would work best. There was no pressure at any time to sign a contract or purchase. Very low key visit. On installation day, Vicente arrived with his son. They respected our property. Cleaned up after themselves. Very little dust when cutting due to their special equipment. Total installation was a bit over 2 hours. You can tell they took pride in their work and wanted everything to be as perfect as possible. We've had many neighbors already ask about the product and have been very impressed. We highly recommend Door Conversions for an alternative to new doors. read more

Sometimes you run across a product or business that truly deserves an "At-A-Boy"! We've worked really hard for our money so we demand quality. It's also nice if you get customer service. So with Door Conversions, (Vic and Laura and son) you get a fantastic product. It added a facet to our home that far outweighs the cost. It's not gingerbread or fluff. It's a permanent upgrade that lit our entryway and changed the mood of the entire home. We love it. Every promise, install dates and promise of quality, and support from Door Conversions was delivered X 10. We highly recommend. Jim and Linda Stitt read more

We met Laura and Vic at the Fresno Home & Garden Show. We recently moved to Fresno and our house has a double door entry with a heavy wrought iron screen door. We like the fresh air benefit the screen door allows, but don't like the clunkiness when entering and exiting. Door Conversions screen/decorative glass installed within our exiting doors will clean up our front entry. They came to our home to measure and show us different options. Then Laura sent us photo quality drawings of the design we selected. We're excited for the install and I'll post the photo when the project is complete. Door Conversion is less expensive and faster than installing brand new doors. read more

I highly recommend the glass insert option with door conversion if you were considering replacing your entire door to provide light in your entry way. We compared the cost of replacing entire door with the door conversion and the door conversion is a better value. Vic, owner, won me over with his passion for his craft and that he installs himself. Vic, Laura and their son provided great service and they really take pride in their product and work. They really want the customer to be happy and address any concerns you may have without hesitation. I love that it's a family business and provide lifetime warranty. read more

Door Conversions - Door opened for evening breeze. - Door Sales/Installation Near Me - Rocklin, California

We just completed new windows and sliding on the house. Now, we felt our original solid oak door needed upgrading. Every homeowner knows once you start a home improvement project every element on your final vision is important. We looked at replacing our solid oak front door (it is in great condition, just needed to be modernized) what we wanted was cost prohibited (outrageous). We contacted Door Conversions. They came out, provided the details/cost and we picked the image of our dreams. Vic and Diego installed the new insert with absolute perfection. I LOVE OUR NEW DOOR!!! I've always wanted a screen to bring in air but they are ugly, hide a beautiful door, and provide ZERO security. I now have an all inclusive solid oak door with glass, wrought iron and a screen. I love opening up the glass insert to let air in while my door is secured. It is absolutely breathtaking and even more than I expected. It is refreshing to work with a company with such honesty, integrity, extremely polite and grateful to provide impeccable service. Family proud and it shows. I now drive back to my home differently so I can see my new door. Beyond pleased. read more

Just had our new Wrought Iron/Glass Door installed and it is gorgeous! We are so happy with it. Door Conversions did an excellent job. The owner spent a fair amount of time helping us decide the various options for our door and gave us a realistic expectation of an installation timeframe. Love our converted door! We get compliments on it all the time! Our front entry has no picture windows, and has a semi-long narrow hallway, so it always felt like a dead end when we were approaching the front door to exit. II was looking for a unique door that was just not a basic screen door. Vic reviewed all my options with no pressure. What impressed me the most is he has a US Patent on the design. I am beyond ecstatic! Vic and his team did an amazing job. My plain brown door became a masterpiece. Their work is exquisite and the compliments keep coming. Vic was very professional and the install took a bit less than the two hour estimate. I have already recommended their work to a friend. This is so worth the cost. read more

A few months ago, we visited friends and noticed they had a beautiful front door. When I asked about the door, they proudly showed me their "door conversion". I was sold immediately. When my wife saw it, she said "we have to do this". She called Jeff, the owner and made the arrangements. We understood that fabrication might take more than a month. Today Jeff and his assistant arrived and within 2-1/2 hours had both of our doors converted with a beautiful wrought iron insert, with decorative opaque glass and screen. The job was done with quality and professionalism and we couldn't be happier or recommend them any higher! Great job Jeff! Our neighbors are so jealous! read more

We were looking to update our front door on our home and had planned on purchasing a new door, when we saw the gallery for Door Conversions at a wine tasting bar in Rocklin. We were smitten with the designs and placed our order. The insert was custom made and installation took about two hours. I couldn't be more pleased. The door has substance and the curb appeal is simply undeniable. And it cost about half of the price of a new door with glass in it we priced at Home Depot. The best part of this insert is knowing the glass panel opens up creating a storm door effect, eliminating the need for a screen door that would only obstruct the beauty of the iron work. We could not be more pleased with the finished product. read more
