Iron Elegance: What a fabulous company! From start to finish they were prompt in replies, courteous, affordable, and the finished product looked beautiful! Rhonda made the ordering and selections easy and the Install guys were timely, cleaned up after themselves and pleasant to work with. If any of you need a lovely gate or even a decorative security bar for a vulnerable window, call them. I had a law enforcement person here and asked him which areas were my vulnerable spots on the house, He pointed them out, and I had Iron Elegance do the 2 windows and then decided to add a lovely gate to my front courtyard. It is SO nice to be able to open my bottom half of the big arched bathroom window and get fresh air blowing through... and knowing it is secured. The really nice part about this is not only was I able to support a small business in these crazy times but, they they were willing to work with my budget and didn't 'force' me to do it all at once.. My husband and I wanted a screen door that would keep pour the bugs but look prettier than your typical screen door. We also thought having one that would lock like a regular door would be nice for the days and evenings when it's nice outside and wanted to keep the front door open but still feel secure in our home. We live in a nice area, so I don't typically don't secure it. We had Iron Elegance build a door for us and it is perfect! Pretty and Keeps the bugs out! Last night was the first time I was ever grateful for the door actually being a security door. At 1:40 am our doorbell camera alerted that a unrecognized face was at our door. While watching the camera while my husband was away working he saw someone trying over and over to break into our home though this door. The "intruder"(never did make it through the door) tried everything to get in unsuccessfully. Thankfully the police responded in time and were able to take her to jail. I previously purchased a door from Iron Elegance. The powder coating on the door did not last 5 years. I can't fault Iron Elegance for wear and tear from the sun. I recently broke the window that came with the door and decided to get a replacement window. I placed a call to the store and reached an answering machine. After making numerous calls and leaving many messages, I finally gave up and called a local glass store who was more than happy to help me. Was given the Wrong Door COLOR, Ruby red 3003. I chose Brown red 3011. Rhonda has been avoiding me for OVER A MONTH. Her husband Rick left gaps all along the door frame for bugs to enter. She promised he would return the week after installation and he never did. I have followed up via email and phone and text to no avail. They do not seem to stand behind their product or service. The Wood Used Along Door Frame Warped Within 1 week. The foam used around the frame is plain foam, not weatherproof material. Very very upsetting. read more

I have purchased five (5) Iron Elegance Security Doors for each of the doors at my home. I have had no outstanding issues with the doors over the years. On just one occasion, one of the door locks had an issue and I called the company and they were able to replace the lock the next day. The company was very responsive to my problem in getting the lock replace at no charge. Their employee that replaced the lock was very courteous and did an excellent job. I have recommended this company to my family and friends and they all have experienced the same fine results from Iron Elegance with their installed security doors. We purchased a very expensive, custom wrought iron fence from Iron Elegance (Rick) that was installed around our pool and spa. A few months after installation, the powder coating began to bubble and peel. After SEVERAL attempts to contact Iron Elegance (with no response), we were finally able to have Rick come back to our home and take a look at the problem. At that time, we were advised that the powder coating problem is because we have it around a pool. HOLD ON - the pool and spa were both there when Rick originally came out to measure and give our estimate; he SAW the pool and spa yet there was NEVER any mention that there could be a problem with powder coating!!! In fact, Rick is the one who recommended powder coating to us because of its durability! We pointed this all out to Rick, and he told us he would "get back to us" to see what he could do...we never heard from him and our NUMEROUS calls went unanswered. We contacted some other wrought iron experts who told us that the problem was not that it's around a pool and a spa but that there was a problem with the original powder coating process...we called Iron Elegance and left this information in subsequent messages...they too went unanswered. We would NEVER recommend Iron Elegance to anyone because if you're calling to resolve a problem, they don't return your calls...however, if you're calling for an estimate, they are quite prompt to get back to you. Seems that Rich B. (another Iron Elegance rater) had a similar experience as well...very sad. read more
