Another pleasant visit to Doolittle's. Did you know they make all of their sauces and dressings in house? They do! The best blue cheese this side of Stumphouse tunnel. The ambiance is always on point. We sat outside by the fountain this time and listened to the Thursday night music at Wren Park. If the weather permits I would recommend sitting outside every time. Doolittle's is a must if you are visiting Anderson.

Have eaten many times at Doolittle's and usually a good experience. Not tonight. My husband ordered a steak that was so sub par he sent it back after one bite. My fish and chips arrived and I sent it back because it looked burnt. Upon receiving my re-fired order, it became apparent that the problem was dirty oil. Came out just as dark and left an aftertaste in my mouth.

Awesome food and great service! Nice atmosphere and we were able to carry on a conversation without yelling because of noise. Our waitress Kate was very friendly and helpful. Our meal was better because of her service.

This was an Anniversary dinner with my Wife of a Saturday night. Great atmosphere. Pretty busy, I definitely recommend reservations on a busy night. Great Atmosphere. I noticed a Birthday party going on & the place was lively. Casual dress, come as you are. Service was 25% tip great. Amanda was our server & did a spectacular job. The food was a different story. I've decided not to go into details. I'll just simply say the food was just ok. That's fair enough. Would I recommend you try Doolittle's?...yeah, I would. I think I came on a bad night. Restaurants have them sometimes. No problem.

The food was good but pricy. We had our order taken and then was checked on once. They were pleasant, just kind of disappeared. The restaurant had just opened. Very few tables filled at the time.

I don't give very many five star reviews but this place was phenomenal! Kelly was a fantastic server even though she was doing tables inside and outside! Hostess was very friendly as well. Beautiful outdoor seating area too. Plenty of great beer selections, the Matilda was delicious! The crab melt sandwich will literally melt in your mouth... So fresh and very tasty. Love REAL fries! Great prices too!!! Everything was wonderful, everyone was very happy! We will definitely go again when in town. I highly recommend!

Awesome! Great she-crab soup. The pecan crusted trout was perfectly cooked. Great service! Definitely worth it and will be back.

There is so much space in the front with cornhole boards or just to hang out. When we walked In I could tell this was going to be amazing BBQ. Writing on the walls and chairs, menus board hanging on the wall and daily specials written on chalk boards. Or orders were quickly taken by a very efficient hostess the. We grabbed a seat. I ordered brisket and pork with collards and cobbler. My wife ordered the same with the grits and my son had the side of Mac and cheese with his brisket. The brisket slices were think and it was really well cooked. The pork was awesome but the sides were out of this world. Every single one of them was perfect. There were four BBQ sauces to choose from, Eastern NC style, hot, mild and mustard. I am not a huge fan of mustard BBQ (I'm from NC, IYKYK) but I'll say this was the best I had. The hot was my favorite and it had just the right amount of heat. For those that may be concerned about the description of the writing on the walls and divey spot don't be. The place was clean and very nice. The health rating was great and it was a really nice place.

Expect a little bit of a wait but they have outdoor cornhole games and putt-putt while you wait. I'm not the biggest fan of brisket when visiting BBQ restaurants but theirs is amazing and I highly recommend it! I learned the hard way on my first visit and my son allowed me to try some of his. The sides are very simple but they compliment the BBQ. Fried okra was fresh and cooked to perfection. The jalapeño cheese grits are unbelievable and a must try! Service was a group effort by several waitresses who took good care of us. If you ever near Clemson, I would definitely make this a stop.

It isn't just that their BBQ Ribs, Pork, and Chicken are the best around, it is that they do everything else better as well! Ribs: dry or wet, they are spectacular. I prefer the dry just because they aren't as messy and let the flavor of the meat shine, but found the wet ribs freeze and thaw better (and still were some of the best ribs ever!). Chopped Pork: so flavorful and juicy. No sauce needed. Brunswick Stew: the best I've ever had. I drank a quart of it straight from the styrofoam cup. That's why I bought 2 quarts... I bought this entire meal to go, froze the leftovers for 2 weeks, thawed them, and just had a BBQ feast that noone else could touch! Now, on to the appetizers - their potato crisps, nacho chips, and cheese sticks are ridiculous. The portions are over-the-top, and they taste better than anywhere else. Italian and Mexican restaurants have nothing on these! Then you get to the fish and shrimp. Surely a BBQ restaurant can't do seafood well, right? Sadly for the local seafood places...Creekside does it better again! You will never have a tastier piece of fried catfish or shrimp than right here. And that is coming from me after a 20 minute drive home - if I ate it at the restaurant, I'm not sure I could stand it. Everything I've gotten at Creekside has been well above my expectations, no matter how many times I go. This includes their great customer service, as well. I will admit, I've never tried any dessert or anything "green" here, as the BBQ, sides, and seafood are just so good I don't want to waste room on sweets or veggies. If I want a dessert, I'll pour a little bit of their sweet BBQ sauce on a piece of brisket, and the Brunswick Stew has tomatoes, corn, and onions - all the veggies I'll ever need! Seriously though, every other BBQ restaurant I go to makes me wish I had just gone to Creekside instead - you won't find better, I guarantee!
