High functioning boba tea shop…read more.. We had a great time prepping to pick up the kids from school. We had some time to kill and stopped here at the location on Montana. Glad we did. The options are plenty. They have icy sweet milk teas, mixed fruit, single fruit teas, plushies and smoothies. They have snacks and souvenirs, too. The ambiance was very chill. They had pop country on, that gave that chill vibe. It was cool to just relax in their couches while sipping on some tea. At 3:30ish, the place is well lit and has plenty of places to sit, from loungers to high tops. If you look, you will see plenty of signs that encourage smiling :) The shop is part of a strip mall, that has its own lot. The staff was friendly and efficient at getting our drink and the folks that stopped by to pick up their boba. I recommend.

It seemed very clean inside too. The menu had some good options for drinks too! The lady at the counter seemed a little off putting to be honest. Maybe customer service should be looked over... But onto the drink! I ordered a Jasmine Green Tea no milk with brown sugar boba. 75%sweetness. To be honest it was nothing special. The tea itself tasted like it's been sitting a jug all day long. It's not fresh brewed and the boba had a weird syrup that almost was film like... the chewiness was perfect and the amount of boba given was awesome but just something about eating it made me nervous. Flavor is bland and if anything tasted old. Freshness level is below for me. Maybe next time!

Although the boxes of random supplies and cleanliness seemed a bit off for me.. even when ordering looking into the back looks all sorts of messy.. Service was amazing! My barista had a great conversation with me and got my order out in speedy time too! Very sweet and very helpful! 5/5 for service. The boba itself was good. Nothing too sweet nothing too dull. It was a jasmine green tea with brown sugar boba. I wasn't impressed because it wasn't brewed. So it lacked freshness for me. The boba itself was the best boba I've had so far. But even then I just want more flavor. It was average boba nothing special. If I wanted boba again I'll probably come here just because it wasn't bad but it was fair. Thank you!

Sadly, bubble tea at Yogo Berry falls solidly in the meh category. I've devised a standardized system to evaluate bubble tea that has 3 distinct categories: taste of the milk tea, quality of the boba, and level of Instagrammability. Milk tea: I've had worse, I ordered the taro coconut flavor, and it tasted vaguely of taro and vaguely of coconut. I didn't see them make it but I assume it was with powder. It was sweet and didn't taste too watery. 2/5 Boba quality: they were of good size and chewiness, no qualms here 4/5 Instagrammability: This is where Yogo Berry Bubble Tea takes a hit. Inherently, instagramming a chain boba place that doesn't necessarily specialize in boba brings the post down a notch. Also, the decor inside does not particularly promote a good picture. The plastic cup had a large generic logo, and the cover was a standard plastic top. In this era of social media and businesses, having an instagrammable product can do wonders for a business.
