I understand that many of the employees are young and appreciate that they are given the opportunity to work. However, the staff we encountered were rude and unprofessional, which made an already frustrating situation even more disappointing. Unfortunately, this was not a positive experience.

Hana Banana's posted closing time is 9:30 PM, but when we arrived at 9:00 PM, they had already stopped taking orders and were turning customers away. We weren't the only ones either. Several customers were being told they couldn't order despite the business still being open according to the posted hours. What was most frustrating was the lack of customer service. Instead of politely explaining the situation or apologizing, the staff came across as rude and dismissive. If you plan to stop serving 30 minutes before closing, your hours should reflect that so customers don't waste their time driving over. Closing early is one thing, but being unfriendly to customers about it is another. Unfortunately, this experience left a very negative impression.

The atmosphere as soon as you enter is small, quaint - cafe type. The menu is clearly lunch focused with lots of healthy options. I think they also do lots of catering. We ordered quickly, service was friendly and the food was very tasty. Before we left the place had filled up. The best part, apart from it being a local spot, was the tortilla soup. As a self-proclaimed tortilla soup connoisseur, I approve! I can't wait to bring my friends and family.
