Have always loved their donuts I use to DoorDash almost weekly from a different location years ago before they opened the Natomas location. I love being able to go in whenever now!! It's my go to for donuts and a latte before work or a random day I decide I need something sweet. Today I decided to try getting one of their surprise bags on the Too Good To Go app and WOWWW the quantity for the price is amazing

Behold, $1.75 worth of avocado!
Ker E.

The croissant XL sandwich arrived burnt, and the avocado was way past its prime (and there was an extremely small amount of it). If it costs $1.75 to add "avacado" [sic], then it should be fresh and there should be a full layer of it. I had to tear the sandwich apart to even find it. Unacceptable.

This is a hidden gem inside a shopping center. From the outside it looks like your typical donut shop, but once you walk through those doors...the elevated experience begins. Amazing seating areas that make you feel like staying and sipping on your coffee. The donuts? Well those are just as nice! Great variety along with all of the classics and fresh flavor!

Their donuts are soft and fluffy! Friendly service. Nice and clean shop. Will definitely be back.

I decided to bring donuts to work & this was a new spot I've been wanting to try. Walking in, there's lots of seating & it was cutely decorated. Staff were still putting baked goods out which all looked amazing. There were so many yummy items to choose from. Also, love that they don't let leftovers go to waste by being on the TooGoodToGo App. 10/10 - Pizza Croissant: this was fresh out the oven so it was still warm; it was jammed packed with so much pepperoni inside & loved the jalapeño on the outside for a slight spicy zing. I could eat some many of these. 8/10 - Mixed Dozen Donuts: overall the donuts were good & similar to other donut spots; they were more dense & not as airy; flavors in the glaze like strawberry & matcha weren't prominent, neither was the blueberry donut.

Poor quality

Ordered a bagel breakfast sandwich, my first observation was how unappealing it looked and secondly the quality of the sausage just wasn't good.

An out of this world dozen!

Although super busy, the staff were very friendly, quick and efficient. But the real star of the show were without a doubt, the donuts! Amazing flavors, light & airy when appropriate...heavy & robust when call for....they were some of the best I've ever had! Well worth the added expense!

Croissant Breakfast Sandwich

This place is one of my go-to spots for donuts and an occasional Thai tea. The staff are also always nice and helpful. Cute spot to go to overall. My last visit, I was a bit more hungry and decided to try one of their breakfast sandwiches for the first time. I'm sorry to say but after trying a bite, I lost my appetite. I unwrapped the aluminum off the sandwich and took a pic because it looked so delicious. I had high hopes taking a bite but immediately got a sour taste. I opened up the sandwich and my eggs looked like the second pic. Green and gross. I'm sorry but this absolutely threw me off from getting breakfast from here again. Will come back for the donuts and drinks but please workers, double check the breakfast you serve. It made me ill biting into green eggs.

They threw some bonus donut holes in with our cronut

I was on the fence between the blueberry cheesecake and the peach cobbler. I really wanted a scoop of both, but I just wasn't that hungry. I decided on the peach cobbler, and I'm still dreaming about it. The sweet peaches, the essence of cream, and that buttery slightly salty crust. My only complaint is that they sometimes run out of stock because they're THAT good! We don't care much for the donuts as they are a bit dry and there are many other great donut spots that serve soft fluffy donuts. The kolaches and staxx are what keep bringing us back. Staxx have been a favorite in our family for years. My kids have loved their sweet breads since they were babies, so there's definitely a lot of nostalgia attached to this place for us. The donuts were sloppily made and didn't even have the cute mochi bead shape as pictured on their website (and every other mochi donut place). They were small and greasy. Next time, I will order from Tomo Tea House - $35/dozen so still pricey but I know the quality will be great. The gal working there when I picked up was also super unfriendly. Why? The customer service, vibe, and unforgivably - the quality of food - was totally disappointing. North Natomas doesn't have a lot of high quality food places so hoping this location gets it together. But I likely won't be coming back to check.

The presentation was extravagant as there were gold flakes on top of the frosting. For $8 it was overpriced and I wouldn't order it again. The croissant donut holes were amazing! Bang average, with prices that suggest they're serving gold leaf…read more TOMO Tea House is one of those places where the presentation is doing considerably more heavy lifting than the food. The chilli wonton soup was genuinely good, probably the standout for me. I'd happily go back for that. The cinnamon rolls were alright. I tried the Biscoff Crunch, Dubai Pistachio with Strawberry, Cookies & Cream, and Banana Pudding flavours. They looked the part and were decent enough, but nothing that had me thinking, "Bloody hell, I need another one of these." The waffles, unfortunately, were a different story. They weren't cooked properly through the middle, chewy and gooey rather than crisp on the outside and fluffy inside. The Biscoff flavour was also barely noticeable. The drinks are very much geared towards the social-media crowd: lots of milk, lots of toppings, lots of visual appeal. If you enjoy taking a photo of your drink before taking a sip, you'll probably have a field day. And then there's the price. For what you're actually getting, it feels rather steep. The food is, at best, mediocre in several areas, yet the prices seem to suggest these ingredients were mined personally by King Charles. Ironically, I actually would have gone back for the chilli wontons, banana pudding and Biscoff pudding. But the experience around their influencer/collaboration side left a rather sour taste. If you're a collaborator or influencer, BE WARNED! No real communication or courtesy message. Perhaps I'm old-fashioned, but if you're going to deal with people, a simple response goes a long way. But then again, they perhaps cherry-pick whom to interact with based on their social media activity. And finally, watching someone at the counter struggle with some basic maths while taking an order was certainly an experience. I'm all for supporting people, but perhaps the calculator deserves a little more screen time than the Instagram account. Overall: some genuinely good items buried underneath a lot of hype, presentation and rather ambitious pricing. I'd happily return for a couple of the things I enjoyed, but I wouldn't be rushing back for the overall experience. Food: 3/10 Value: 2/10 Presentation: 8/10 Social-media appeal: 10/10 Would I return? For the chilli wontons and a couple of puddings, yes. For the rest... probably not.
