My husband was broke went in to buy some donut holes and asked for a plastic fork for his meal and they refused him. You can only get one if you buy a sandwich lol.....Are you SERIOUS? I hope this place goes out of business for their GREED. Karma. Eat less sugar protect your heart folks. Even 7-11 is more generous. read more

OH EM GEEE! I don't know if we were just hungry but daaannngg they have such yummy breakfast sandwiches! && so cheap too! It's made fresh and they don't skimp out on eggs, sausage or bacon on any of the sandwiches. Also got donut holes for the little one and for $2 per dozen donut holes, my little guy devoured ALL of it! & this is from a picky eater! So if you're ever in the area, I definitely recommend them! Support small business!! read more

I feel like it's a little misleading to say this is a bubble tea place; you can get boba in some drinks, but this is not a boba shop. That being said, the milk tea is delicious. And the boba was amazing- perfect texture, not too chewy or too soft. I've had the donuts here a few times and I'm not much of a desserts person, but the donuts are pretty good! Their breakfast croissants are probably more appealing to me than the donuts. The croissants are nice and flaky! The one major downside is that they're cash only, which is a hassle if you're like me and only use a card. read more

Small 24 hour cash only hole in the wall donut shop. I'll keep this short the breakfast sandwiches and the ham and cheese croissants. Do the ham and cheese croissants with or without jalapenos it doesn't matter. ***pulls out chain watch to start hypnotizing you You will do the breakfast sandwiches or do the croissants!! You will do the breakfast sandwiches or do the croissants!! You will do the breakfast sandwiches or do the croissants!! CHEERS!!!! read more

The Bacon Egg and Cheese with jalepenos goes crazy, and the green thai tea is fire. 10/10 got to try

Just moved in the area and so happy this shop is here. Great food and friendly people working there. Highly recommend

Donut Star - Donuts Near Me - Orange, California

I always like to try out any new donut shops and these donuts were mega soft! I got a dozen for $10 and the lady threw in an extra donut on the house! I am blueberry fan, and their blueberry donuts were perfect! It was glazed crunchy on the outside, but super fluffy inside and breaks apart easily too. I've had several situations were the donuts are hard and stale, but not these. I was bummed the apple fritters were out, but that means they must be that good to be sold out so early in the morning! read more

It's cash only which caught me off guard. Luckily I was just a dollar or so short and the lady was nice enough to let it slide so long as I return. I left her my business card and told her she had my word. I didn't know businesses did things like that any more! It was really sweet of her. She noticed that I was picking up two dozen and asked if it was for work. It was. She then bagged another 6 donut holes and said this is for you. :) Thank you for starting off my Friday morning on such a great note Donut Star! read more

Very good donuts. I give it 5 Yums. The store is clean, the staff is friendly and the service is speedy.

Came here at 1am hoping to grab some dessert after work. They were out of donut holes, so I opted for an old fashion and I also got a cinnamon roll for my SO. They tasted a ok, I wish they were as fresh as the other donut star in Irvine but hey, it was 1am, can't be complaining too much about that haha. The only downside to this place is that it's cash only. Thankfully I had some emergency money for this emergency craving! ;) read more

Donut star is the best of the best, why? Because of Wendy. The last time I came by I was asking for her help. I didn't come to buy anything actually I was almost stranded with out any gas in my car and BAM!!! I was shocked she gave me a blessing and guided me home. Ask her about shaklee when you go in, and the taro shakes BOMB!!! I hope the people reading this will adopt "Donut Star" as there go to early morning coffee/donut destination!!! read more

THE BEST THAI TEA IN ORANGE COUNTY. Yes, you read right. For $3.50 a thai tea with boba, I can't complain. The strong thai tea flavor is just spot on, and the half and half makes it into one milky goodness. It's cash only so be prepared. They make it for you right way so i'm in and out within minutes. Small parking lot shared with the 7-11 but there's always parking. read more

Misleading, confusing, some drinks live up to expectations but others don't unfortunately... Donuts good tho..

Love this place. Wish they took cards though. Egg and cheese croissant are the best around. I don't know why I haven't figured out what kind of cheese they use but it's delicious. read more

Nice family owned business. Donuts and sandwiches are amazing! Will be coming back for sure.

Highly disappointed in this place. I stop in periodically and one morning i popped in for a sweet treat. The man at the counter said that they were freshly made and still quite softz. I chose a maple bar and boy was i disappointed, the glaze was terrible and after one bite i threw it away. You could literally squeeze the oil out of the donut. The only reaon this would happen would be from the oil not being hot enough when they hit the fryer. Try Sam's donuts. Amazing. read more

This is my go-to for donuts and breakfast food. They have the best ham and cheese croissant! The perfect portion to fill you up and for a reasonable price. Remember, this is a family owned business so be prepared to pay with cash. read more

Cash only! I walked in an ordered just to find out it's a cash only donut place. Wasted my morning coming here just to be late for work without breakfast. Lady told me to go to 7-Eleven to pull out money. Why would I be inconvenienced just to put money in these peoples pockets because they can't upgrade. Ridiculous. read more

Been here 5-6 times in the last couple months. 2am or 2pm. Same great service and same great food. Simple food but so good.

Donut star or awesome sauce? This place rocks. Cash only though there's an atm and it's by the 7 11. They have sandwiches, donuts, filled donuts, bars, bear claws, muffins, and whatnot. Check out this hidden gem read more

Stopped in here recently for a quick donut and a cup of coffee. Donut was good. Coffee was hot. Clerk was friendly.

Best place for a Bacon Egg white & Cheese Croissant !! Excellent service ..I really like this place .

I used to come here before school and get smoothies all the time. The lady (wish I knew her name) was always so friendly and would always treat myself and everyone else in there very well. Not only are the donuts good, the sandwiches and smoothies are awesome as well (not to mention made fresh to order and very reasonably priced). My only tip is to bring cash...they charge you a fee if you use a card and don't spend over $10 read more
