Great little donut shop! Owner was super friendly and gave free coffee with a donut purchase. Get there early because the donuts go fast

    Glazed Old Fashion

These donuts are literally the BEST donuts I have ever had!!!! The glazed buttermilk bar is my favorite, but I also tried the glazed donut holes, glazed old fashion, and maple buttermilk bar which were all amazing too!!! I don't know what their secret is, but you will be so glad you tried their doubts and never be disappointed! I even bought one and ate it 6 days later and it still tasted just as fresh as the day I bought it.

No way you bake them there!! Single packaged donuts at high prices, come on now. The donuts are good but this place is deceitful with just a few selection prepackaged and toys that you can get for less price at a dollar tree. Cute idea but save you money and walk down the street to see what else you can find.

Wasn't anything of what I expected. Thought it would look like a bakery but far from it. The coffee based on the time it took to make it isn't brewed but made one at a time. Like from a hotel room coffee maker. Donuts are individually packaged so one can only assume they are made else where and brought here. The donut was good, but for 2 donuts and 2 coffees for $17.00. I'll not return Make this place look and act like a bakery or a donut shop might come back. Looks like an art gallery with frilly decorations. Makes no sense

This place won't be a secret for long. Yummy donuts - hot chocolate- and coffee on a Sunday morning nestled in behind Miguel's cafe. Very friendly service and nice to not wait in lines.

Thanks Tony for the great tour!

Not a donut shop, but a donut reseller at huge markup to cover the cost of rent for the retail shop location.

It's not a real donut shop. You walk in and there's a few donuts on a shelf in doggy bags and each one is $5.

Best Apple fritter ever! And old fashion chocolate was the perfect ratio of cakey donut to chocolate.

To start off I want to leave a review based on the CH Donuts of yesteryear before the asian guy (I…read morethink he was Vietnemese) retired and sold it, because THAT CH Donuts was bomb! He was the only one I knew of in San Diego doing maple bars as eclairs -I'm so sad that I haven't been able to find that anywhere else. Some honorable mentions were the donuts holes, the old fashions, and the crullers. The service was always polite, warm, and familial -this guy knew and remembered his customers, even if not by name. The reason I found out he sold it and retired was because he saw and recognized me walking the pier in IB :D He and his wife were always welcoming, like you were a family member visiting for a snack and a good chat. The place has generous seating available, always clean and never dirty or messy, and is in a prime business lot at the intersection of IB Blvd/Coronado Ave and 13th Street. I've only been back once since the place was sold and I wasn't really into the flavors offered at that time, plus they were no longer offering the maple eclairs. Not sure if they are now, but I'm sure their other donuts are good since they've got good reviews and were in the Reader last year. Go check them out!

We randomly found this hidden gem in IB, and the donuts were delicious!!! Classic donuts 10/10…read more. look for Carlos, he'll take good care of you. PS - Voted Best Donuts in S.D. by The Reader
