The car was towed there mid afternoon. Brad completed a diagnostic confirming the starter was bad; and told me the work would be completed Friday afternoon. We went by ToyoTech Friday morning to meet Brad. We were greeted by David; and welcomed into a clean, as was the entry, waiting area until David escorted us thru a likewise clean, organized shop to meet Brad. Mid afternoon Friday, David contacted me to let me know when my car was backed out of the shop it would not shift out of reverse (automatic transmission); and they had pushed it into the shop, and back on the lift finding the shift cable casket/grommet have dried up and broken because of it's location close to the exhaust pipe. I thought this would delay my leaving until Monday for sure; but Brad said it would be ready by day's end. He worked past closing until 7:30 to make sure I could leave Friday morning. This repair facility is 12 out of 10 rivaling any luxury car dealership's service department that I've ever used. The experience renewed my enthusiasm for dealing with professional, honest, independent auto repair shops that do exceptional work for prices that are more affordable than dealerships. For anyone needing exceptional service at a fair price within driving distance of ToyoTech, you can't go wrong with ToyoTech. My since "thank you" to Brad and David for turning a unexpected repair into a safe trip home. Also, to Christina for going the extra mile.

I followed my Service Advisor, Taylor, from anther dealer & brand. Although I am an old JEEP'er,…read moredriver since the 1950's & owner since the '70's. Ordered a new '23 Gladiator Fall '22 to be a stablemate for my pristine 2001 Wrangler. Acadiana JEEP is a mixed bag. the owner, Ms. Vega, the Senior management guy Jeremy Hull, & my advisor Taylor are very good. The others are typical car dealer types. I do extensive research before even looking: car mags, other owners, on-line, etc. I most often know more about models, options, prices, etc. than the salesmen. The Gladiator shut-down at 700 miles & had to stay in shop for 3 weeks. Afterwards, for 2+ years it has been trouble-free. If considering a new JEEP, please study first. The current Stellantis JEEPS have many counterproductive "economy" features and "safety" features which are totally inappropriate on an OFF-ROAD vehicle, and can't be disconnected, or even interrupted. Although I have owned JEEPS for 46 years, and used them everywhere from high Rockies to South Texas beaches, to Louisiana & Mississippi swamps, I don't think I'll ever buy another unless Stellantis learns what Americans actually use their vehicles for and corrects current deficiencies. We have made a couple really long highway trips in our JEEPS, we don't consider them as highway vehicles and keep other vehicles for Interstate driving. I don't abuse any mechanical equipment to show-off. Anyone new to JEEPS would do well to do all "customization" via the JEEP FACTORY or MoPar ONLY. JEEP Engineers know what works. Many aftermarket items look great at first, but disappoint AND reduce resale value. If I were to buy here again I'd start with Mr. Hull and Taylor; both are honest & knowledgeable. Bonne Chance ! Bad experience. Bought a 2024 Kia Forte from them in late June 2025 and about 2 months after buying…read moreit the headlights went out. Brought to Kia and got also a second opinion from a private bs owner and this car was wrecked a year ago and some shotty fix repairs on it. Headlights were glued together, the hood doesn't aline right. Now that its been pointed out to me that is all I see. I have tried working with Madza service manager and even the owner and all they are willing to do is ME pay 1400 for 2 headlights and they will install them at no charge. I live in Zachary so its not easy for me to get there and back, manager did offer to come get car bring me a loaner and bring back car however, I am not happy about paying 1400 for 2 headlights on a car i purchased a couple months ago. I was told Kia warrenty would still be in effect as the car only had 25,000 miles when i bought it however, when brought to Kia they are not under warrenty because they are not kia parts. So I guess I am out on the extended warrenty I purchased also

ZERO INTEGRITY. Do not trust Acadiana Mazda in Lafayette. My mom bought a used car from them, and…read morethey flat-out took advantage of her. The car had been in a wreck, which they knew. But they chose instead not to disclose that it had been in a wreck. The car had the wrong headlights installed after the wreck, but they sold it as if nothing was wrong. They said, "It looked fine when they "Inspected" it. Yet, she brought the car after this to 2 separate mechanics who immediately spotted it and asked her, "You know this car's been wrecked, right? These aren't even the correct headlights for this car." Acadiana Mazda's so-called inspection missed (or ignored) what any honest mechanic saw instantly. Now the wiring has burned up because of those improper headlights. Their "solution"? When pressed, they said they'd install the parts "for free"--but she'd still be stuck paying $1,400 for the parts alone. To make it worse, they had the audacity to suggest they'd only "help" her if she took down her 1-star review. That is coercion, plain and simple. This dealership knowingly sold a car with undisclosed accident damage and unsafe, non-factory parts. And now refuse to stand behind what they sell. Our plan as of now will be to get written statements from the other mechanics that looked at the car and could clearly tell that this was the issue. Acadiana Mazda puts profit ahead of honesty, safety, and basic human decency. If a dealership will lie and cover up accident damage just to make a sale, what else are they willing to do? Acadiana Mazda failed in the most fundamental ways and THEY SHOULD NOT BE TRUSTED TO SALE YOU A CAR! Id recommend building your own car from scraps at the Scrapyard. Its basically what they did to my mom.
