My trailer broke down near this business, and unfortunately my experience was very disappointing…read more I was charged approximately $2,000 just for them to bring their equipment out roughly 12 miles, and the invoice listed 21 miles. The repair also took nearly three times longer than the timeframe I was originally given. I was billed for 10 hours of labor, even though the work performed should not have taken that long. If I had access to my tools (which were buried in the trailer), I estimate I could have completed the repair in about five hours myself. Additionally, I was billed for labor related to items that were damaged during the repair process. I had purchased several parts and specifically requested that they be replaced on both sides. Not all parts were replaced as requested, and the unused parts were not returned to me. I picked the trailer up at 10:00 PM, and due to the late hour it was difficult to fully inspect the work at that time. In total, I was charged close to $4,000 for a tire, rim, and hub replacement. Based on the scope of work, I believe the cost was excessive for what was completed. I would not recommend this business based on my experience.

Two weeks ago I came in to get a new cluster, because it was further worse. I was charged $100 for a diagnostic which came back as exactly what I said, because it had already been diagnosed. Then I paid $600 for a rebuilt instrument cluster, plus $100 for diagnostic, and no one called me when the part came in to schedule the install. I called and scheduled it and spent almost 4 hours this morning for a 2.5 hour job ("the server wasn't working) waiting, and then when I drove it away... EVERYTHING WAS STILL BROKEN on the instrument cluster! $900, multiple hours over multiple days, and I have the same cluster f@@k with the instrument cluster. Now the truck has to go in on Wednesday to repair the non-repair.... Better get it right on Wednesday! The employees are nice; that's my kudo for today.

Instead of owning the mistake, the manager got irritated and put out, told us "it's going to be a while" (refused to give an estimated time) and then said the appointment alone would run $150. So we took a real risk driving out of our way on their word, only to be turned away once we got there... and the manager was annoyed at us when their own records proved we'd been told to come. If you're stranded and counting on them, look elsewhere. Rude and unprofessional.

Found out that, because I was paying cash and had no trade in, I would have to pay an extra $2000 above their so called best price. Their so called best price is not the price at all but an artificially low number that they then presumably make back through high finance charges and low trade in prices. I want a dealer who is in the business of providing quality cars and selling them at transparent, competitive prices not a dealer who is playing games and trying to make money through back door methods. Once I understood how they were operating, I asked them to simply give me the out the door price so I could make a decision. They wanted me to sign an agreement to buy the car in order to get the out the door price. I, of course, refused and they did eventually provide it to me, the same as their so-called market price (not their best price) plus administrative fees as shown on their website. So why not just tell me that in the first place? I did not buy the vehicle and will not be going back. To their credit, if you look at the information on their website, it is evident how they price their vehicles and that the so-called best price is an artificial low price that they make up through financing and the trade in. So I cannot say they are dishonest but the overall experience was one that gives used car dealership a bad name. In the past couple of years, I have purchased two used vehicles from other dealerships, both small-town dealerships that are not in the financing business. In both cases, I was pleased with the experience. They didn't try to sell me anything, just answered my questions. In both cases I had done my homework and the prices listed were fair and, in both cases, they gave me a better price since I was paying cash and had no trade in. Briggs could learn something from them.
