I've never had a worse experience trying to get my car fixed. What should have been an easy,…read moreone-day fix turned into a complete nightmare that wasted our time, money, and even delayed a major life event our move out of Kansas. The issue with our car was straightforward: replacing and programming the body control module. We had an appointment on a Friday but arrived slightly late. Instead of trying to accommodate us, we were told the work couldn't be done and had to reschedule. Fine I rescheduled for Monday and even left the car there over the weekend so they could get started first thing Monday morning. Monday passed. No update. We called Tuesday, and they said they hadn't even touched the car and would "start working on it today." That turned out to be another lie. On top of that, communication was a disaster. The woman answering the phone was rude, gave us conflicting information, and at one point told us they had lost the keys to our vehicle. Her solution? We'd have to wait two days and pay extra to get a new key made. When we asked to speak to a manager or someone else, she flat out refused to transfer the call or pass along the message. We were promised multiple call-backs for updates that never happened. When we finally got a "final" pickup date--Wednesday--we called and were told it still wasn't done, but that they were "actively working on it." Another excuse followed: they were too busy. Then we were told Thursday would be the day. But Thursday comes and now the car won't even start. They had the nerve to tell us we needed to pay $160 for a diagnostic to find out why the car wouldn't turn on after they had already messed with it and clearly didn't know what they were doing. The body control module was installed incorrectly and now the car has even more error codes than before. We finally had to tow the car out of there and take it somewhere else at our own expense because we had zero trust left in their ability to fix anything. This dealership is completely unprofessional, disorganized, and lacks the basic customer service skills you'd expect from a certified service department. Their staff clearly needs retraining, because they don't know how to do the job or communicate with customers. Their delays and incompetence cost us more than just time it disrupted our relocation plans and left us stranded. Save yourself the headache and go literally anywhere else.

Me and my family are on a cross country trip from California.  We are headed towards home from…read moreleaving Ohio. Yesterday evening we were pulled off in Chapman Kansas to let the kids potty and stretch when my husband decided to check all the tires on our truck and travel trailer. He noticed a large bald patch with material starting to show on one of our trailer tires. He said it could have been bad and may have even caused us a blowout had we not seen it. So i grabbed my phone and Googled a tire shop. Your Firestone location in Junction City came up, which was 11 miles from where we were. I called and spoke to Nicole, the manager at the store. She said they would be closing in less than 10 minutes but to come down and she would take care if us! We got our twins back in their car seats and drove straight to the shop. When we pulled up it was a little after their closing time but both Nicole and Dylan(the awesome technician) were waiting for us! They got the tire changed and us back on the road within minutes! For this being our first big adventure this far from home we are truly grateful for the help of your awesome employees Nicole and Dylan! Thank you again Nicole for your outstanding customer service!! We had an emergency while traveling from Colorado to Arkansas on I-70. I called ahead and was told…read morethey could see us, so we drove our vehicle several miles off the highway in an already dangerous condition to get to them. When we showed up, the front desk acted like they had no clue what I was talking about. The guy checked with the manager, who said we'd have to come back the next day for an appointment. When I pushed back and said I'd just spoken with someone, the desk employee pulled up the call record on the computer and showed it to the manager. Instead of owning the mistake, the manager got irritated and put out, told us "it's going to be a while" (refused to give an estimated time) and then said the appointment alone would run $150. So we took a real risk driving out of our way on their word, only to be turned away once we got there... and the manager was annoyed at us when their own records proved we'd been told to come. If you're stranded and counting on them, look elsewhere. Rude and unprofessional.

Found out that, because I was paying cash and had no trade in, I would have to pay an extra $2000 above their so called best price. Their so called best price is not the price at all but an artificially low number that they then presumably make back through high finance charges and low trade in prices. I want a dealer who is in the business of providing quality cars and selling them at transparent, competitive prices not a dealer who is playing games and trying to make money through back door methods. Once I understood how they were operating, I asked them to simply give me the out the door price so I could make a decision. They wanted me to sign an agreement to buy the car in order to get the out the door price. I, of course, refused and they did eventually provide it to me, the same as their so-called market price (not their best price) plus administrative fees as shown on their website. So why not just tell me that in the first place? I did not buy the vehicle and will not be going back. To their credit, if you look at the information on their website, it is evident how they price their vehicles and that the so-called best price is an artificial low price that they make up through financing and the trade in. So I cannot say they are dishonest but the overall experience was one that gives used car dealership a bad name. In the past couple of years, I have purchased two used vehicles from other dealerships, both small-town dealerships that are not in the financing business. In both cases, I was pleased with the experience. They didn't try to sell me anything, just answered my questions. In both cases I had done my homework and the prices listed were fair and, in both cases, they gave me a better price since I was paying cash and had no trade in. Briggs could learn something from them.

It wasn't until I received a call from my banking institution saying I was going to be late on a payment for the traded in vehicle. I called Briggs, after I had the utmost confidence that they took care of that, and I was told that they never sent the check out to the bank. Their excuse?.... "There's really no excuse". I was completely disappointed. I ended up making the payment for the vehicle I NO LONGER had just so it didn't affect my credit score.
