They so expensive would not recommend!!!. The cuts on glass and took forever to receive back my glass

I was looking to have a new mirror made for our main bathroom. I contacted Don's glass and mirror and talked with a gentleman named Chaz. He came to our home and I explained to Chaz what I wanted and gave him a photo of the design I would like. Chaz took all the measurements and within a few days sent me a draft of the mirror. They do not respond to calls or emails; when you get in touch with someone they are rude and very unprofessional. The individuals I had conversations with made it seem like they were doing me a favor by answering my call. I would not do business with them. read more

I own a 120 year old home and needed the glass replaced in my front door. I had made three separate visits to this shop. They were recommended to me by another glass shop that no longer did residential work. During all three visits I feel like they took the upmost precaution and concern for COVID-19 and safety. We wanted to replace/upgrade our shower door in our master bathroom after seeing mold grow inside the sliding doors after 20+ years. Despite our best and persistent efforts at eradication it proved to be inaccessible so we opted for replacement. I checked out a few places and got a couple estimates ( for the exact same model door) including one from Don's. They were super friendly both at their store and during their visit to measure to provide our estimate. Turns out, they were 40% less than the other bid. I was a math major in college and can say authoritatively that 40% is statistically significant!!! When the special order door arrived the installation was scheduled. Todd came out and did a superb job with thorough cleanup and haul away of all the debris. And we are happy campers! Or showerers! I had an appointment, the person never showed up; I called to tell them that he did not show; It is one week later and I have NEVER heard from anyone EVER!! I tried to order a part, they never got back to me on the availability. I went back two weeks later and they "forgot" to call me. The one woman has been in the front office for many years is VERY arrogant and rude. Go to Rex Glass and be treated like a human instead of an animal! read more

Great work! They really went above and beyond replacing broken glass in a vintage mirror that has been in my family for generations. They replaced the paper on the back and put on new wire as well. They were kind, clean, and courteous. The gentleman at the shop carried the frame to my car with gloves on and very carefully put it in my backseat. These guys are awesome! Got my estimate ASAP. Work was scheduled to be done today, arriving at 8 and leaving by 9. They showed up at 8 on the dot, were out by 9 and were so friendly and professional! I kind of had to go with this company in fixing my dining room window, because they were the only company that responded to my request for a quote (and I tried 5). Don's Glass and Mirror: They replaced a picture window and had no idea how to remove the current moulding. They cracked it and broke it in the process. They refused to replace the wood they ruined. When we called looking for help, they were very rude. Do Not use them! read more

Have used Don's for many projects over the years and always happy with work, price and service. They don't take credit cards, but that's not an issue for me, just an FYI for anyone interested. My household has had screens redone, glass tops for antique tables cut, mirror cut and put back into frame that I got cut down (they don't cut frames), and had a new frameless shower sliding door enclosure installed. read more
