Came up for Cortland's Parents Weekend and had an awesome time. The whole town was buzzing... great…read moreenergy everywhere, but still felt welcoming and easy to enjoy. It's one of those weekends where you get to step into your kid's world a bit and actually see why they love it here. Bars and restaurants were lively but manageable, people were friendly, and it had that perfect mix of college fun and family atmosphere. Drink selection is decent, bartenders were friendly. Pool table was in good shape and atmosphere was lively. The negatives: The dart board was busted so you couldn't keep score and the darts were bent and wouldn't stick on the board anyway. The women's restrooms had no hooks inside the stalls so there was nowhere to put your bag or coat, which is so annoying because it could be easily solved. They also gave out very short straws for highball glasses so everyone's straws were falling into their drinks and they had to fish them out. Still a four-star experience overall, but addressing some of these shortcomings would have made it a five-star.

My most recent visit was very disappointing as I ordered carryout for myself and my brother. He ordered the Ruben sandwich and I had the Jalapeno bacon burger. For the first time in several years neither my brother or I could eat the sandwich. They were dry as sawdust. We had to through them away. To say the least I don't think we'll be back.
