Donnies is very very spacious and sometimes they hold events which is pretty cool. Having a unlimited meal plan is amazing because it stops my bank account dropping like a submarine. We were so impressed! It's very clean for a bar and the outside is beautifully finished. We had a blue moon and a burger-- it was one of the best burgers i've ever had from a restaurant. There were quite a few people there, but there was still room to sit in the spacious outdoor deck/stage area. There's also an outside bar area to grab a drink, instead of having to run inside to the regular bar. Food was available, but we did not try anything. The indoor vathrooms were pretty small, but served the purpose. The music was very good, the sound was loud enough, without blaring out of the speakers. There's a roof over the outside deck, but it's in different sections, so the sun does shine though in areas, making it a little hot when it's hitting you. Our only complaint would be the amount of people that were smoking. There is no way to get away from the cigarette smoke wafting in your face. Other than that, it seems like a great venue to enjoy some live music, a drink and a bite to eat. We definitely plan on going back.

Everyone went above and beyond to ensure everything went without a hitch. We have been to Hotel Solsville quite often to watch the live bands, have dinner and drinks, we've ALWAYS had a great time. There are two different sides of the establishment, the dining room where they have a pretty comprehensive menu and offer a prime rib buffet on Saturday evenings. The bar offers a complete bar and a pub menu. The food at Solsville is always fresh and flavorful, well prepared and great quality. I highly recommend Hotel Solsville, even if you're not local to the area, it's worth making a trip.

Came up for Cortland's Parents Weekend and had an awesome time. The whole town was buzzing... great…read moreenergy everywhere, but still felt welcoming and easy to enjoy. It's one of those weekends where you get to step into your kid's world a bit and actually see why they love it here. Bars and restaurants were lively but manageable, people were friendly, and it had that perfect mix of college fun and family atmosphere. Definitely a weekend worth making the trip for... we'll be back.
