So I decided to go see Dr. Wilder knowing she could help and I was not disappointed! She muscle tested me and found out it's a virus I'm fighting. She recommended 2 vitamins. I've never had any reason to complain. From the second you walk in you are taken care of. I've never waited for longer than 5-8 min. I feel like all my concerns are addressed and the well-being of my family is taken very seriously. I just went in for my toddler's appointment. She's been experiencing what I was taught were growing pains in her legs. Dr. Donohoe explained how that's not true and it can be alleviated by adjusting her little knees! This specific review is for Dr Oldenburg, This week she worked wonders for me, Im in my early twenties and shockingly had terrible back pain, I was able to get a last minute next day appointment and she helped so quickly, she was able to instantly navigate where the pain was and before the next say it was completely corrected. I took my 2-month-old baby to see Dr. Todd Donohoe based on recommendations from friends, specifically for chiropractic care that could help with infant stomach issues (gas, reflux). Unfortunately, the experience was completely inappropriate, unprofessional, and ultimately unrelated to the reason for our visit. To make matters worse, this fiasco of an appointment cost $200. From the start, Dr. Donohoe made an uncomfortable comment about treating all his patients like family, stating that he viewed my baby as his granddaughter and himself as her grandfather. While I assume this was meant to build rapport, it felt strange and unprofessional. The majority of the appointment consisted of unsolicited and unqualified medical opinions that were far outside his scope as a chiropractor: - He dismissed our pediatrician's recommendation that we provide our baby with vitamin D supplements, insisting they were unnecessary because "God made my wife's milk perfect." I expect medical advice to be based on science, not personal beliefs. - He criticized the hospital for treating our baby's jaundice with blue light therapy, claiming hospitals overdiagnose babies just to bill insurance more. This felt like a conspiracy theory, not medical guidance. - He insisted we allow our baby to sleep on her stomach--which goes directly against well-documented medical guidelines because of the increased risk of suffocation and SIDS. Most concerningly, he launched into a rant about vaccines, claiming they "do more harm than good" and advising us not to vaccinate. This is grossly irresponsible and dangerously outside his expertise as a chiropractor. Beyond these alarming statements, the appointment itself was structured in an unprofessional and inappropriate manner: His office assistants were sent in before any treatment to pitch us on bulk visit packages, trying to sell us future sessions. We were given a sheet of QR codes linked to affiliate products--yes, he was literally selling us products through affiliate links during the appointment. This felt like a sales pitch, not a medical consultation. Only in the last 10-15 minutes did he actually perform any chiropractic work--and by that point, we had already sat through over an hour of irrelevant, unqualified medical opinions and sales tactics. We came seeking care for a specific issue, yet the majority of our visit was spent enduring unqualified medical opinions, sales pitches, and discussions that were entirely irrelevant to our concerns. I cannot recommend this office to any parent who expects professional, science-based care. If you're looking for a chiropractor who actually sticks to chiropractic care and doesn't try to replace your pediatrician with reckless, unscientific advice, I strongly suggest looking elsewhere. To be a business and not accommodate a patient who is NINE minutes late for an appointment is absolutely unacceptable. I have never in my life had a doctor who turns away a patient for being 9 minutes late. I was 4 min late and almost there when they called me. I told them Id be there in 3 min. They called me right back. I was literally walking up and was 10 feet from their door. They couldn't take me even though I was already there. They wanted to reschedule but couldn't reschedule for another week! It was NINE minutes past appt time. No doctor has ever been this unaccommodating, ever. They said they're booked solid. So is every other doctor. They aren't any different than any other dr. Apparently they don't need to be accommodating to their patients (PS I explained I was late bc of a medical emergency with my child's oxygen tank but they don't seem to care at all about their patients). They can't have any reasonable accommodations. Then they wanted to charge me! Ridiculous. My daughter has several highly sought after specialists fully booked months in advance. No doctor has a policy this unreasonable. The industry norm (IF there is a late policy is to accommodate within 15 minutes). My daughter has several specialists booked 6 months out and they realize life happens and are accommodating to their patients. They have the 15 min rule and even then will at least TRY to fit you in even if you have to go after the next patient. I understand people need to try and be on time and I do but life happens. I was looking for a chiropractor for my special needs daughter too (and possibly my husband). I hoped they could help her severe congenital spinal issues but not if they can't understand life happens. Finally, Id be cautious if you want to trust a doctor's office that doesn't seem to care at all about their patients. I told them Id be willing to wait if they wanted to take the next patient ahead of me. Nope. All that mattered is that they might have to go home a little later. My daughter was up at 2am crying of a earache.She got adjusted and she has been fine, no more aching and slept through the night. I loved that he looked into her ears to check them and listened to her lungs! There was no waiting time at all. I just went in for my first appointment yesterday and I have never been treated so great! The front desk girls were kind and considerate. And I saw dr. Oldenburg and she was so professional , sweet, kind, and SO educated. She took about 40 min to explain everything to me in detail and I have bad TMJ "major reason I went there" and horrible shoulder pain and after just one visit with her I feel better. I can't wait to keep going there. Another great thing is if you have children " I have a 3 and 7 month old" she said it is no problem if you bring them.
