I walked in with chronic back pain and walked out without it. The staff at the MAC take the time to asses your individual needs and then suggest a treatment direction. The atmosphere is calm with a holistic touch. Spinal therapy at the Mac is simply what they do. After only my initial appointment I'm excited to revisit. Reason for visit: lower back injury while deadlifting Length of attendance: Feb-July. 6 months Pros: 1) open/flexible schedule (appointments optional) 2) super affordable (see attached picture) 3) no X-rays or machine tests needed before first adjustment (Jim hears your story and knows what you'll need) 4) friendly/welcoming/easy-to-work-with receptionists (Sarah and Whitney; and sometimes their pet dogs) 5) pre-adjustment rolling/massage tables Cons: none Things to consider: 1) chiropractic care works well over a period of time depending on your injury. You'll feel some immediate results for sure, but will need to come again until your body can readjust to the new changes in your spine. 2) able to work with herniated disk patients My story: Injured my lower back while deadlifting. Tried to visit another chiropractor on a Friday but schedule was full for that day and needed to wait until Monday. Looked for other chiropractors and found Murrieta Advanced Chiropractic (had good reviews). Called and asked if I can come in today (it was already afternoon) and said yes. Filled out couple paperwork (less than 10 min) and didn't need x rays (was surprised and glad because I didn't want to spend a couple hundred for X-rays and have to go back and forth to get X-rays before i get my adjustment). Spoke to Jim about my issue and went in for the roller/massage table. Then got my adjustment. Wow, felt 50% better and resumed doing deadlifts and squats. I continued to do these workouts in my workout routine during the period I was getting my adjustments. After 10 adjustments I stopped attending because I felt better, just some slight soreness. I was stupid and should've given my lower back some time to heal. Re-injured my lower back while deadlifting/squatting. Eventually got to a point where I could barely walk or bend and would feel a sharp pain in my tailbone and slight numbness on the back of my right leg. Started month option with Jim and stopped deadlifting/squatting completely so that I could let my back heal. After the first 4 adjustments, I was able to start bending and walk almost normally. It took about 2 weeks before I felt good about walking normally and like a month before I could move around normally. Attended for several more months so that I could have my back heal properly. Now I feel pretty good, like 95% normal and stopped attending. But will likely visit every quarter or trimester or so often so that my body is aligned normally since I do a lot of sitting/driving for work and heavy lifting for workout. The office manager Sara is the most obnoxious individual you'd ever wanna meet. We had a billing issue ($30.00) caused by our insurance company, In the week it took to get resolved. Sara would not assist the insurance company, talking over them and hung up on them. When we called to find out if they had been paid correctly. Sara would not allow us to ask any questions, repeatedly raising her voice and talking over us, until she hung-up on us. Just as the insurance company said she did to them too. After the $30.00 billing issue was resolved. Sara sent us a letter refusing to allow us any service by there office. She also stated that we were rude! Apparently trying to confirm they are paid correctly and everything's all right - is being rude! Unfortunately we cannot in anyway recommend this office with a person that treats patients like this! This is doubly unfortunate because Dr. Von Hipple is so nice and personable. And was actually getting results helping his patient. Dr. Von Hipple, you really need to hire someone who has some assemblance of interpersonal skills and customer service! read more

Called in today to get checked out and I called a couple other chiropractor places but had no availability this office did so I booked it. Awesome they accommodated me even when I was running late. Came in filled out the questionnaire,did the traction table then got adjusted. My clavicle( AC or SC joint) was out of place which was causing pain when I raised my arm up and a little pain on my neck too. The adjustment was amazing! Felt relief right after and my neck which I never been adjusted felt super loose after that adjustment. Overall my experience was great! I'm totally coming back here! read more
