We like it so much we ate there 2x during our NOTL stay. Our server was on point as far as food delivery and customer service. We didn't have to wait that long for our food. Bartender is attentive, friendly and simply awesome. Street parking but we walked there from our nearby hotel. Will definitely come here again.

As for the food, my partner got the pulled pork sandwich with fries and I got the lemon pepper chicken wings. The chicken wings were good but, they put too much lemon pepper seasoning that I couldn't finish it. The portion sizes were good though and we left full. The vibe of the place was really nice. It was a good spot to take a rest from all the Niagara Falls adventures you had that day! The service was also good as well as we were seated right away.

Staff is lovely too, accommodating and nice to talk to. Great beer, great food, and a chill vibe--definitely worth checking out if you're in the area!

The space is very reminiscent of an old English/Irish pub. Located right in the heart of downtown St Catherine's, my wife and I were promptly welcomed in by the staff as if we were regulars. There was a good selection of in house brews, the bartender was quick to offer suggestions, but we let him know we were told to check out the blueberry wheat. We only had time to stay for one drink, but had a good time, the beer was great and we had a good chat with the bartender. Very frequently and welcoming. We only wish we'd had a time to go back and try some other beers. Hopefully we will get a chance to return one day

After a search on YELP, I chose The Garrison House. The Garrison House is super cute, with a varied menu, full service bar, and friendly and attentive service. The Mr. & I were torn between the cottage pie and the Garrison burger. They had me at 'horseradish mayo' so we went with both, with a plan to share. We didn't even tell the server this was our plan, but she anticipated it anyway, and brought us two sharing plates! Both the cottage pie and the burger were made with Cumbrae Farms ground beef which was delicious. Why isn't horseradish mayo a thing on more burgers?? Truthfully, I can't stop thinking about it. Maybe I can figure out how to duplicate it... Anyway, if we were locals we'd be regulars!

I got into Canada early, so I decided to go have some lunch. I walked in, and immediately felt like I just came home. The bartender, this lovely young woman named Onya, came up and took my order. I ordered a black and tan. She suggested I go for the smooth black and tan which I did. It did not disappoint! I may have to have my black and tans like this for the rest of my life. I ordered a cup of the buffalo wing chowder, and she said it's one of the most popular items on the menu. I asked her to bring that out first before my Classic Caesar salad. Let me tell you something about that soup. Now I'm not a big soup guy, but I do like chowders, and this was the absolute best I've ever had. Had. I've had clam chowder all over the United States but man this one absolutely nails it! It has that buffalo wing flavor which just perfect and not overpowering. I should have gotten the bigger bowl of it instead of the cup. Now let's talk about the Caesar salad. It was absolutely perfect! It had the perfect ratio of dressing to lettuce, not just poured on top like most places but actually tossed. Onya said she did it herself, so massive kudos for her going above and beyond the call of duty. Overall this meal hit on all cylinders and did not disappoint. I will definitely be back here a couple more times while I'm in Canada. If you need to find me, you know where to find me. The bottom line? You really need to get the buffalo chicken wing chowder. It is absolutely an amazing soup and will change your life. And if you like a good classic Caesar, you can't do better than this one!

She was professional, checked up on us multiple times, and gave us refills in a timely manner. The food was pretty good, and I would recommend. I was glad we sat further away because it would have interfered with conversation, but I appreciated the singing (just a little loud for me). I enjoyed my ravioli, and my friend was very happy with her baby back ribs. And if you're from USA, know that the iced tea comes sweetened.

This place has sweet locals in spades. But the food is just ok, and the beer selection is just mass-produced lagers. In all fairness, we didn't try the wings; we just had a bunch of appetizers. They were all fine, but they were most likely premade, frozen and then fried. The good news: the staff were great. Super friendly and helpful. Also, the bar itself was a cool, divey sports bar vibe. Totally ok if you're looking for a local watering hole. Not a great option for killer food.

There were more than a few day drinkers hanging around the bar and patio, but no one seemed inebriated. To be honest, though, I probably wouldn't bring my kids here on a Friday or Saturday night. It was our first time having poutine and I'm not sure it was standard (it had shredded cheese instead of cheese curds) but it was delicious! Like really really really good.
