Such a cool bar! From the moment I walked in, I knew that I'll be in for a treat. The blackboard listed over 20 beers on tap, with details such as beer type, brewery & location. I went for the dark ale from Czech and hubby ordered a pear cider. The pear cider didn't taste like pear, but meh. I thoroughly enjoyed my dark ale. Friends ordered the loaded nachos and the toppings were overwhelming, I couldn't find even one plain nacho. The pulled pork pizza was more like a flat bread and smelled delicious. It did look a bit burnt though. On Saturday nights, the promo is 10% off pizza when you buy a drink. The staff were friendly and attentive. The bar/restaurant space was clean. There were only a few tables seated with patrons, even though it was a Saturday night. There is a popcorn machine, tons of board games and magazines... if that's what you're into. The bathrooms were awesome too - they use exposed pipes as toilet paper holders! (See my photos to see what I mean). This bar is hands-down my favourite in the Welland/Fonthill area. The service was awful past 3 times I've been there. The food is great! But the service however is baffling. Waited at the door to be seated for a good 10 mins, and the owner and servers just looked at us and didn't help us. So we walked out. I would strongly advise coming here if you want to be ignored. read more

Great beer selection and wines. The wines were all local wines which is great. The home made chicken and polish sausage were really good. Caesar salad was good too. Service lacked a bit as the server did not know the specials. read more

If I have to give this place a star, it's only 1 as zero or half is not an option sadly. Was insanely busy for a Tuesday and ONLY ONE SERVER and what appeared to be a manager!!?? We were empathetic and when we tried to make conversation with the waitress, she basically said she didn't care as tomorrow was her last day and she made lots of money either way. Shocking. The service was by far the worst and the food wasn't that much better. The menu was strange. Butter chicken on everything... And the items were way overpriced though we were happy to find out it was half priced wings!! Unfortunately, they were all bone, no meat and burnt to a crisp. Probably previously cooked then recooked to order. I didn't tip however, if the server was a little more accommodating (i.e. told us the specials, gave us refills on our drinks, checked how our food was and at least pretended to care I might have. First time there and probably not going back unless its JUST FOR DRINKS. read more

i don't know where to start here. read some of the reviews of this place before we made the decision to come here and they sounded great. it has a 5 start rating as well so we though can't go wrong here... but sadly it was not living up to what was hyped. this is NOT about the staff as they were great ! the waiter we had was great and checked in on us at the right times, the server was also prompt with bringing our food and drinks so no complaints what so ever, our gripe is with the food. we started by ordering the baked pretzel and it was good although due to preference i would have omitted the pulled pork as it was under cooked and slimy. the pickles it came with were excellent and so were the jalapenos slices. but the main meals were horrible. i had the nashville hot chicken sammy and my wife had the pulled pork mac and cheese. mine was not what you would expect for a nashville hot chicken, as it came with a siracha tasting hot sauce not a hot and sweet sauce as they usually have. and it wasn't battered and coated either, this was basically a chicken breast with this mystery sauce squirted along the top of it much like mustard on a hotdog. the chicken itself was tough and dry... so you had to chew it quite a bit before swallowing. my guess is that it was either freezer burnt or overcooked... or both. my wifes pulled pork topping was fine but not mixed into the mac and cheese as one would expect... i actually thought it was bacon sprinkles. the mac and cheese part was overly thick and hard to dig out and i watched her struggle to chew and swallow it as well. i'm guessing it was from not being cooked long enough or was scooped from a large pan that was being used and reheated before serving. neither of us could finish our meals due to the above described. we were so disappointed by this experience that we felt complaining to management wouldn't have made it any better. our bill came to $80 something before the tip so you can understand our disappointment also having to pay that much for a bad meal. i don't like to jump on here with every meal we have unless it's extreme one way or the other.. and this was one i felt i had to write about to warn other people. i get the whole covid thing and short on staff, but that should never be the reason the food is bad... there is no excuse for that to happen. i'm usually one that if i'm left feeling let down about a dining experience i won't re-visit that establishment again and unfortunately this will one of those places. i'm sorry if this offends anyone, especially those of iggys but if you don't hear reviews like this it won't push you to do better for future customers. thank you for taking the time to read this review ! read more

Iggy's was a bit strange. We went in for a late lunch/early dinner so it wasn't surprising that the place was fairly empty despite being a Saturday. The server was down to earth and friendly which was refreshing. It's was a nice change from the ridged often fake it til you make it customer service in many places. The food, of which we had a burger and a sandwich were fantastic in house creations and very filling. This is pub style food, fit only for the meat-etarian at heart, though they have some more normal options. The only complaint or oddity worth mentioning is there very extensive beer menu is on a large chalkboard not visible in the dining area. I had one beer and to be honest couldn't be bother to get up to search the menu to try a second one. The waitress did not know the menu, not surprising given the selection but I can only imagine that a table of 5-6 tree for a couple of rounds would be an absolute circus just trying to order beer. read more

Iggy's is a great place for a beer as they have a very large selection. I highly recommend flights to aid you in a the sampling of multiple flavours. The food is fresh and most items very good. The wait staff is outstanding for the most part, rarely a bad night had here ever. read more

my wife and i went here. she had burger (glutin free) the bun was as hard as wood .i had a steak on a bun it was hard and steak burnt and dryed out will never eat there again....and they gave us cheeze balls 5 pc to try and make us happy . and it cost us over $60.00 read more

Been here three times now and have been so impressed with EVERYTHING! They have craft beer, liquor and wine flights so you can have a sample of many choices they have to offer. Their food is OUTRAGEOUS! A wide variety of unique dishes. Fresh homemade burgers, best crab cakes I have EVER tasted. Kim the manager is a riot and will make DARN sure you enjoyed your meal!! My buddy and I were there last night for his birthday. Ordered the 14" + 10 wings. The wings tasted very strange but I kept eating. Later that night I had the runs. The next day (today) my buddy told me he had the runs too. Their meat is spoiled but somehow with lots of nuclear-strength flavoring they managed to cover it up. I should have paid attention rather than just denying the signs. But really, no place should serve food like this. Even the pizza wasn't great, very burnt and cardboard-like. read more

Just finished a meal here. Our table spent over $100 on food and drinks. The food was mediocre at best, however the reason for the terrible review was due to the management. Our server was lovely, but the manager on staff (a shorter, red haired woman) was appalling. My order was 20 wings, their wine flight, and their beer flight. The wings I ordered were 10 in a steak spice, and 10 in honey garlic. Once the food arrived, I noticed the honey garlic wings were made using large chunks of chopped onion. Unfortunately our server was being run ragged and took off before I could say anything. You see I have an allergy if I ingest onions. Now, if I order something that typically has onions, I will notify the staff of this, however honey garlic is not a sauce that comes with onions, or is even made with onions (yes if you search hard enough on google, you might find one that does, but traditionally onions are not used). When I informed our server of this, she apologized and I asked if I could just downsize the order form 20 wings to the 10 (as I was happy with the 10 that were brought). She said "sure thing" and took them away. A few minutes later our server returned and informed us that the manager would not allow for this, and I would be charged for the full 20 wings. We asked to speak to the manager, who never came to us. After our meal, I had to approach the manager to discuss this with her. She started using any excuse she could think of, such as: "We can't read your mind", "It's how we make it, I don't what to say to you", "We shouldn't be faulted for not knowing you're allergic to onions", and "The locals know our sauces are homemade." The fact that the manager was arguing with a customer in general, and did not even apologize, left me gobsmacked. We ended up paying full price for our bill. It goes without saying that they have lost my business - and everyone else I speak to. read more

I've never left a yelp review before but I thought this was a good reason too I have never been blatantly disrespected by staff I found a hair in my food and I understand that it happens but the service I revived after telling my waiter was repulsive the managers daughter came over and didn't even say they were sorry but that it must have been one of my hairs which regardless wether it was or wasn't she shouldn't have been so rude then after she walked away she was making rude gestures at me when I wasn't looking so I asked to see the manager who happened to be the waitresses mother came over and rather then discussing it with me she just tried to defend her daughter and got into an argument with my friend at my table then when I asked for a percent off my meal because there was a hair in it she told me that that wasn't going to happen in the end I did end up paying full price I DO NOT RECOMMEND I have never been so disrespected read more
