I own an authentic Cowboys #88 Dez Bryant jersey. I had a stain on one of the 8's which is WHITE! I had a yellow nasty stain that I received last SuperBowl either eating or drinking, I don't know. I had not cleaned it because I was scared to mess up the numbers. After doing my research , I found Donnas dry cleaning. I took it there, I can't remember the guys name but he made me feel confident about leaving my jersey in his hands. I was heading to the Cowboys Vs 49ers game that Sunday in San Francisco. My jersey was ready the Thursday before in excellent like new condition!!! This is my new spot for dry cleaning! The only thing that sucked was that the guy who did a marvelous job on my jersey was that he was a 49ers fan. Lol bummer. And of course, COWBOYS with the win!!! If you were wondering! read more

Take this with a grain of salt as I am very picky when it comes to clothes - particularly their post-cleaning scent. Great family-owned business in Downey. Nice service. Bring cash as there is a fee to use plastic. I have had some of my husband's shirts laundered and pressed. Shirts are $2. I'll pass on that from now on as it came back not smelling quite like I expected. Better than most places, but not odor free as at least one (albeit more expensive) place in Downey. The dry cleaning was good, but again not entirely odor free. They do not advertise to be, though. Affordable. Three-piece suit was $9.60. Two-piece suit was $6.90. #577 2017 Yelp Challenge 43/100 read more

I drive from Inland Empire to drop off here because they take GREAT care of my clothing.

Service does not get better than what you get at Donnas! After coming here for a few years, I went from, " it's nice to support local shops" to wow, I really appreciate the awsome service. Very accommodating, nice, friendly, and attentive. Highly recommend. read more

Not only do I go here for dry cleaning but for alterations as well. I'm glad I came across this place. It's been like a year now and I haven't gone any place else. read more

My family had been using this place for the better part of 20 years. I had moved back into the area a few months ago and needed a few items laundered and dry cleaned. The guy behind the counter was more concerned about his marijuana stash then working with me while on the phone, didn't sound business related. Hell it's legal now, I'll give him the benefit of the doubt. Dropped off 3 blouses 2 slacks and my husbands military fatigues. 2 blouses and slacks were ok. One blouse came back with new stains and the fatigues smelled like a dog. I'm wondering if it's because there is a DOG on the premises! Who has a business in a service cleaning industry and has a dog roaming around clean clothes. I'll make the trip back to Norwalk where I have a reliable family business to give my hard earned money to. read more

Donna's Dry Cleaning and Laundry - Really? Wasn't even my stain. Thanks Donna's - Laundry Services Near Me - Downey, California

I found Donna's through Yelp maybe 2 years ago and it's the only place I've gone to since. They're extremely kind and trustworthy. I know if I hand my clothes over it will be returned in even better condition than when I left it. read more

Best local dry cleaning spot in town. Family owned business, so they know how to treat their customers. Take my dress shirts and slacks all the time and they do the best job possible. I even started taking my sports jerseys there cause he got a stain out that other places couldn't. Totally recommend Donnas Dry Cleaning. You can feel the nostalgia there when you see their old school pictures. read more

Just moved back to Downey and went to Donnas based on the reviews here on yelp. What a regret! Went to pick up my shirts. One was missing. We were told there was a "stain" on it and that they were having it worked on. For the record, this was new ted baker shirt that did not have a stain. We were told that they would call us when it was ready. Fast forward a few weeks, no phone call and no shirt. Even worse, no apology. Save your money and go elsewhere... So to sum it up... They lost an expensive shirt Lied Made promises Broke promises read more

I get all my dry cleaning done here. My work clothes and my uniforms and jerseys. I also get my pants altered as I am short and they need to be tailored. Greg is very kind and takes good care of my clothing. He is very honest as well. I accidentally left a very large sum of money in my pocket and did not realize it. He returned it to me in a secure envelope. read more

Owner is a really cool guy, price is good and I often take my comforter! And always satisfied

This place is very careful with your items, clean, they ask if there are any spots they need to target, and their pricing is just great!! I've never trusted dry cleaning places due to the terrible experiences I've had and I have had MANY. This place changed my mind, 100% recommend! read more

Bring all my husbans suits here, amazing job and they have it ready in 1 day. Love service and price is reasonable. Thank you

Super nice and friendly!! They speak Ingles!!! (Yesssss) highly recommend them. Service and prices are fantastic!!

I came to leave my clothes in July 22 in hopes for it to be ready by Friday morning. Promised to me that it would be. I cam Friday and none of it was ready except one pair of pants. I was disappointed because if something is said or promised you expect it to be fulfilled. I asked wen it would be ready and they asked if the end of August would be ok. Why would the end of August be ok for 2 pant alterations? When promised beforehand? I said absolutely not. I waited and followed up to see when they would be ready. I finally show up today August 25 and I walk into a horrible stench of marijuana with loud rap music going on and coughing in the back end of the store. I picked up my clothes that was finally ready. There was no courtesy of "let me take something off for the wait" no none at all I paid full price. I will not be coming back to this cleaners especially because I don't want my clothes wreaking of marijuana. This is supposed to be a location that has been passed down to generations and it should be treated as a gem. Again I will not be coming back here again. The 2 stars is for the gentleman who was very respectful and took my order accurately and professionally. Unfortunately my first and last time at this place, a shame because I live close by. Some advice don't smoke week inside a cleaners store where there are customers clothes! read more

I've been using this cleaners now for a little over 2 years and must say it is simple the best! Today I picked up a order and the gentleman brought out my order and handed me a small package with some money he told me he found in a pants pocket of mine. Wow I was amazed that the level of honesty with this place. They have my business for life. There was $123.00 dollars. I'm still in shock. read more
