This place is great! There is always a laundry attendant available, and they consistently ask if you need help -- always with a smile. It really makes a difference. The laundromat is very clean and well-maintained. They offer extra-large washers, large washers, and small single-load machines, so there are plenty of options depending on what you need. You can pay with quarters or use the Speed Queen app. The app is free, easy to use, and convenient -- you can quickly add funds using Apple Pay, which makes the whole process simple. In my opinion, the best days to go are Mondays and Wednesdays when it's less busy. If you're looking for a great laundromat in Downey, I definitely recommend this place! read more

Customer service is horrible. Got there at 10:30 since that's the last wash time and the guy who thinks he owns the place did not let me in. DO NOT COME HERE!. Website says that they're 24 hours!! read more

The laundromat is fine, but you better be able to speak Spanish if you need any help here. I tried asking the white-haired lady if I could buy one of the laundry bags hung on the wall and she just rudely said no. I notice that she is only friendly to people who speak to her in spanish. read more

Recently , the prices have been fluctuating. Suddenly they are $3.25 then they increase to $4.25. What is the price?! However,if the cost per wash is $3.25 after 6am ,we deserve a refund and need to be informed of the changes Also, some driers are non-operable since last year, fix your equipment. There were never any issues with the previous owner! read more

Had a great experience going here, very clean and safe. They have the option of using their app to pay for the machine and keep track of how much time is left for your load. The one thing I don't like about the app is that you have to pay a minimum of five dollars and you cannot pick a specific amount, but with that said, you can bring your dollars in, get your change, and pay that way.. the machine are newer, work great, and are efficient. read more

I go go this laundry every weekend. The environment is safe and place is cleaned. Unfortunately the number of free dryers is decreasing constant and that makes a difference. On Sunday 1/4/26 I was there a usual but I could not use a free dryer because the customer who was using it had already made arrangements with another customer. This should not be case Free dryers should be available as first come first serve/use basis. I was really disappointed and really debating if in going back this weekend read more

It's been about a year since my husband & I have become regular customers at Suds. We LOVE how clean this location is. My favorite feature is paying for machines with their app; no touching random quarters! The guy who wears glasses (night shift) is so kind. I teach, & I barely feel I have time to go wash. He's been the MVP when I'm running out of time; I never feel rushed or uncomfortable. He is super respectful & is always doing something to keep the place tidy. With this said, the 4/5 rating is due to one specific employee, Elena. She is the most rude & invasive lady. Her attitude is uncalled for. I get that in Latino/Hispanic culture, people are expected to small talk excessively, but lady...the laundry mat is empty, STOP hovering behind me as I fold my clothes. You've already cleaned the machine behind me 2 times. If I want to fold for hours, let me! Again, I chose a day & time in which I knew it'd be empty & cornered myself to not be in anyone's way. I, respectively, smile & nod when she tries to talk to me, hoping she gets the memo. This isn't the first time she's been like this with me or when my husband goes on his own. We have specifically avoided washing at earlier times because we hate running into her, but on days like these, we have to. I know management cares about this, place, because it shows. I hope people like Elena have more empathy & get the memo. No one wants to pile clothes for over 2 months, but life happens & I'd prefer not to get judged by someone who works at a place I enjoy being a customer at. P.S. Pizza Time (next door) has the best homemade pizza after a long day here! read more

Very clean, and service is amazing. Older gentleman Jose is awesome very friendly and always willing to help. Over this place is great. Highly recommend. read more

The app doesn't work! I tried to delete my account, to update my card information and nothing worked, so if you don't have cash you can't use the washer, I just to like this business but not anymore, now I have to find another one, I had to take out my clothes from the washer because couldn't use the app read more

I started coming here a couple of months ago and fell in LOVE with this laundromat. First, it is cashless along with quarters and so convenient to just use the app and to know when your clothes will be finished. It's a clean facility with plenty of parking (but not much seating indoors). There's food nearby while you wait. The staff are so helpful and nice. And drying was free on all the bottom dryers. Now, just recently they changed those free dryers on the bottom to every OTHER dryer on the bottom and like another reviewer, it's caused people to fight over them. This was a perk I loved and now it's given a sour taste in my mouth. I understand inflation and market pricing but either make them all free or make everyone pay so there isn't this constant battle over them. I will be going to use the rest of my credits but will be going to another facility. read more

Looks like they have new management. Brand new machines. Everything is clean. The machines now take credit card & coins ! There's a nice big lot with plenty of free parking. Nice addition to the neighborhood. read more

They advertise 1 free dry per load but not all the dryers are free only a select few. You'll be lucky to get a free dryer. When I ask them if they could make one of the dryers free (since I paid for the wash) , sometimes they do it and sometimes they don't it depends if the owner is there or not since the man working there at night won't ever do it but if the owner is there he will. It's just false advertising. read more

Sud's R Us is now under new management. The owner Will is a consummate professional. The newly renovated space is clean with new washers and dryers to keep up with the times. I love coming here especially at night time it's always clean and feels safe inside ! I love that I don't have to take out cash and just use the app also love the free dry with your load of laundry ! And so much space to fold your clothes ! Also employee is super nice and friendly ! The first time I came I didn't know about the free dry and was shoving my clothes in the ones you paid and he told me I get a free dry with my load and it's every other bottom and I feel that was so great ! I come here even tho there's a laundry right down the block I'd rather drive here read more

Use to love this laundromat now I really don't drying was free now owner has people fighting over dryers with having every other dryer for free it's just an unconvinced. Pricing has gone through the roof as well yes I understand it's clean but that shouldn't be a reason to jack up the prices. I just really think the dryer situation should be fix just make none free that way people aren't fighting or running people over just to get told dry for free! read more

This laundromat is the best in the area. It's very clean and the staff is friendly and very helpful. I really like that you can use the app to load funds to use the machines. Also, they have promotions and raffles. Suds R US Laundromat is the place for me!! read more

Enjoy coming here. Washing machines work well. Very clean laundromat. Staff is friendly and helpful.

Under new management and what a difference. Brand new, modern and large washer dryers. Very clean. Highly recommend it to anyone.

Absolutely love the new washing machines and dryers! Kept very cleaned and amazing staff!

Terrible service by the man that's taking care of the laundry mat. We got here at 9:30 pm and the man was trying to dismiss my husband because he thought he didn't understand Spanish and said I'm sorry you have to go afterwards and my husband said I know what you said in Spanish why do you say sorry I have to go when you just said yourself last wash is at 10:30 pm. He immediately felt embarrassed and walked away. All while he's not doing anything but standing by the door most likely trying to dismiss more people. read more

This is my second time coming here I live down the street and the 1st I came no little washers only big ones for big loads and the sign said $5 for the big wash when it was $5.50. I came again today because I saw it said free dry and I'm like ok I'm giving this spot another chance. All the medium washers were taken so I had to use the bigger ones and spent already 11.50 and I'm thinking well at least I'll have a free dryer with nope only to find out ONLY THE BOTTOM DRYERS were free the tops dryers are 25 cents for 5 mins. Make it make sense don't believe the signs they post, it should say bottom dryers free. I will not be returning to this place. It is a clean place and the person working here she is super kind and helpful. Only reason I'm giving it a 3 stars is because the employee here. read more

This is by far the cleanest, nicest and tech friendly laundromat I've ever gone to! All the machines are new and you can use the app to pay which send you reminders once your machine is ready! Restroom is spotless! The attendant Mary is so friendly and helpful, she is non-stop cleaning! 10/10 recommend. read more

Wow I cannot believe this place compared to other laundromat places. While washing my clothes the machine broke down mid wash, I asked for assistance and customer service was rude and acted upset that I asked for assistance. As if this didn't already upset me I also had to pay for the dryer while other laundromats in Downey have FREE DRY. I am disappointed with my visit to this laundromat and will not be using this place ever again and recommend others to not waste their money there.. read more

Love this Laundromat. The machines are so nice and new and super clean! You can pay with coins or through the app and get credit $$$ based on how much you load on the app also love that they added free dry! I loved this place! Will was super helpful, it was my first time. He helped me unload my laundry and was showing me how to use the machines. Place is clean and everyone is friendly. It was so fast because they have different load washers. The drying was free. I will definitely be back. read more

I just moved into town and I was looking for a clean place to do laundry. This place exceeded my expectations! I like how the machines do not smell bad like other laundromats. You can tell the place is very well taken care of. I think my favorite part was when the gentleman that works there helped me with loading/unloading my clothes. Washing with kids can be difficult, but he made it easy by bringing me the carts to my car and even bringing them out when I was finished. I am definitely making this my laundry spot! read more

I have been coming here way before they remodeled the place it's been amazing experience, some of the employees even help you fold and they are really nice and helpful one of the employees gave me a really good tip on how to fold my towels and my clothes to make it smaller. They are really nice people the owner is super helpful always making sure things are alright like seriously no complaints. read more

Just finished our laundry here at 6;00pm on a Saturday night. This place is always spotless, impeccably clean. The service here is top notch. They are always asking if you need anything and if they can help. They go beyond any service I have ever encountered before at any other laundromat. Today she asked a lady if she needed an extra basket for clean clothes and we have come before and the owner offered anyone doing laundry fresh fruit from a fruit cart vendor that he had already paid him. The prices are comparable to other laundromats except for the dryers which are a quarter hi go her in price but well worth it. If you use the app you get money back. read more

Super nice ! super clean! I always go out of my way to do my laundry here ! Definitely recommend

Doing laundry is one of my least favorite chores but this laundromat is quite the dream and makes the task bearable. Makes me actually want to do laundry! I didn't imagine I would find anything comparable to my other spot but this place is flawless. There's no damage even to my most delicate pieces of clothing using there machines. read more
