When this place first came to Lima I was excited but after trying it out multiple times over the years, I've given up on it. I originally tried out Donatos at a Columbus location and thought it to be a decent pizza. The amount of toppings was always my favorite. The service at this location was friendly and good enough but the pizza just wasn't. I don't know why but it just doesn't taste as good at this location as it does at other ones. Went to pick up a DoorDash and went up to the side door , locked . Called the posted number (number not available) Went to the front locked . Both employees saw me when I knocked at the front moved over to the window so they can have a clear shot of me , got eye contact from both , but they just walked to the back .. so I went to the side banging and finally some help after about 5-10 minutes .. do better please ?! I used to be a pizza fiend. I still love it, but don't eat it as often. So choosing to stop in here, wasn't easy. I tend to stick with old favorites in order to make sure I get what I like with my consumption being rarer and rarer. The pizza was ok, above average even. Not great. I thought it was a mom and pop shop when I stopped in, didn't realize it was a chain. They aren't prevalent where I'm at. The staff was friendly enough. The girl who took my order complimented me on my Ninja Turtle, and was very friendly. The order of artisan bread was ok, but I only ate a few pieces and took the rest home to family, wasn't for me. Really sad I didn't look into this place before ordering. My coworker had suggested Donatos since I was feeling like having pizza for dinner and I wasn't sure who delivered in the area (traveling from Cali). VERY VERY VERY disappointed. I ordered the basics? 7-inch personal pepperoni pizza and Asiago cheese bread. Had I had known what I was going to be given, I wouldn't have even bothered to tip for delivery. The pizza was just a 1/5. The edges were burnt more than usual (I ordered thin crust) that I could taste the burnt (lol, laughing to myself about it now) It had the littlest, skimpiest spread of cheese. To top it off, they showered my pizza with a ton of seasoning. I think I swallowed more grease than anything else as well The Asiago cheese bread tasted decently, however the edges were brown & hard when I tried to eat it. My other coworkers were going to try some but once they saw how it looked, they totally turned down the offer. It was somewhat embarrassing to me. I ordered a large meat lovers pizza yesterday at 3:24 PM. They told me it would be 30 minutes for delivery it took a hour and a half to deliver it. I called the store and talk to the manager and ask them I'm going to get a discount for the lateness. She blamed delete this one they did not know where the street was which is not my fault, there she said I will give you a discount when I seen the receipt the discount was a dollar and some change off.(10%). read more

The first time we ordered online, wait time was 20 minutes to pick up. I walk in, all of the employees are sitting on the countertops in the kitchen, chatting and barely noticed me standing at the counter after a minute or two. My order wasn't ready, it wasn't even prepped. The slip that prints to the kitchen was still kn the printer!! I waited for them to make it, took it home and begrudgingly ate the pie with my other half. Fast forward six months later, we ordered delivery. My daughter, who has a SEVERE nut allergy took two small bites and instantly had a severe allergic reaction and was rushed to the ER for lifesaving treatment. We ordered a pepperoni pizza! Donatos Pizza is a solid business that consistently delivers a good product. It's not always exactly as ordered or I would have given them five stars. The small, yet rare mistakes I have encountered have generally been adding an item I didn't ask for or not leaving something off that I didn't want; always easily salvaged, or I learn that I like something new. Regardless of any small mistakes, I've been happy with our order every time so far. The delivery is sometimes super fast and other times it takes a while but generally is within their estimated time. Pizza was good but not the best I've ever had. The crust was yummy not too thick but not cracker thin. The sauce was a little spicier than I've had before, which was interesting and good. Overall enjoyed it but really can't say for sure that I will go back or not. read more

Every year I visit my grandma and we love to share pizza from this spot. We are big fans of the thin crust pepperoni pizza. It took us a few minutes to get a pizza and it was just delicious. Worth giving a try if you are in the area. read more

Whenever I've ordered carry out, no matter what time of day, it is usually ready in 15 minutes. That consistency is excellent. I've never had a bad pizza here. It's always perfect and the salads are great too! read more

I was on a limited time frame due to a lunch break - hoped to eat a meal in the restaurant. I did not receive my food for 40 minutes! The flavor of the food is good but I am not very impressed by the time it took to receive my lunch.
