One of the best pizzas we've had in the Lima area. The toppings were great and the sauce is amazing. The only let down was that the bottom was a little on the soggy side. Next time we're going to ask for well done and see if that helps. The Italian sub was mixed for us. My wife didn't like it but I loved the blend of the toppings. Again, the only draw back for me was the bread got soggy under the toppings. Rigali's is the best pizza place. My family grew up eating Rigali's. Honestly, I think it's even better now then when I was young. Rigali's pizza and salads were at every family gathering I can recall. Birthdays, baby showers, Christenings, etc. We always had a stack of Rigalis Pizzas and numerous salads. Mainly because we all know we can provide Rigali's and every guest will be happy and full. I guarantee if you provide the Rigali's, then your party will be a hit. I'm not sure why all the bad reviews, but I thought this place was great! Sure the decor is a bit dated, but the service and food are outstanding. I was in town for business and wanted a quick bite before my meeting. I didn't want a whole pizza, so the server suggested the kid sized pizza, which was a perfect small 2 topping pizza equivalent to about a slice of pizza. Got delivery to my hotel. Pizza, and jalapeño poppers. No issues. Pizza was delicious. Love the sauce. Jalapeño poppers were just good. Not exactly a fan of the breading. Flavor was ok. i have been going to Rigalis since the 80's- early 1990's when they first opened on the corner of Wayne st. and Mcdonell st. Me and my friends used to go to the window and request the beer we wanted them to order for us...crazy horse 40 oz. St. Ides 40 oz and he would order them because we were his best customers,we were there everyday and today i ordered a meatball sub with extra mozzarella and got a sub with no cheese at all..the female on the phone told me she made it herself and there was cheese on it . I asked her if i could take a picture and send it to her she said there was no email to send it to..not hers not Rigalis' so i guess this is where we part ways after i go talk to Mr.Rigali himself tomorrow..so much for supporting local business read more

after reading the only review they have I still visited this Rigalis while in Lima and I was impressed . We sat down and ate it fresh so I could give the pizza a fair shot at being good......and it was. The sauce was good with a bunch of flavor and they give u enough cheese if u order extra cheese it will be too much. They put the toppings on top of the cheese which is not typical for Lima but a nice change for what I'm used to when I visit. Rigalis offer thin, reg, and thick crust so we got the reg and I liked it a lot. It still kept a nice crunch while not being too thin or thick.The toppings were fresh as well with a nice amount. This place is worth giving a try and to tell the complete truth it was better than Fat Jacks and West gate. I think I have to edit my review for west gate because now I have a new Lima favorite. read more

How do I write a review about Rigali's? Well, years ago I'd probably write off Rigali's as a somewhat sub-standard Italian restaurant in Lima, but my opinion has definitely changed in recent years. I don't dine in that often, but for those looking to dine in, this place has a great Old World atmosphere. It feels like an old fashion Italian restaurant. Also the staff is very friendly, and that goes a long way in my book. I've had a few different things on their menu (including their spaghetti which is very very good in my opinion), but I've mostly had their pizza delivered, and I gotta say its one of the best places for pizza in town. The dough is not too thick or too thin, and definitely not hard or chewy. The sauce is great, and the cheese is just right. Every time I get a pizza from this place I enjoy it just a little bit more. I think this is one of those little appreciated places in Lima that you really can't go wrong at. If I had any complaints at all, its that I wish they still had an online presence or at least an online menu of some sort. Other than that, I can't complain. read more

I love Rigali's pizza and their wings. I haven't lived in Lima for over 15 years but every time I get near Ohio I have to detour to go to Rigalis to get pizza and wings. There's definitely nothing fancy about the place but I get cravings for that pizza. I love pizza and I've lived on the east cost and currently in St Louis and there is nothing to compare to the delicious pizza at Rigalis Fat Jack's, the bowling alleys and the chain stores can keep trying but they'll never come close to Rigalis. Wish I could have a pie right now. I miss you Rigalis, any chance of opening a store in St Louis? My boyfriend and I stayed in Lima for one night (literally 9 hours) while on a business trip. Due to terrible driving weather, road construction, and neglecting to take into consideration the time difference from our St. Louis home, we pulled into the hotel at 10:00pm. Starving. Exhausted. We asked at the front desk where we could get something, ANYTHING delivered as room service stopped at 10:00 (naturally). They gave us a few options, but Rigali's was the only place still open. First we called to see if they were still delivering. Yes, until 11:00. CRAP! We fully expected them to say it was too late for our order, but they didn't. In fact, there was no menu online, so they TEXTED us an image of their menu and said we could call back with our order! By the time we called back, it was 10:40. We ordered a ton of food, eyes bigger than our stomachs, and they said it would be there in an hour. Food arrived by 11:30. A half hour after they closed. The food was hot. The order was 100% correct. And the delivery driver was nice and courteous and not at all pissed off at us for making him come bring us food at the very end of his shift. We live in a world where getting bad service, sneers, refusals, and/or wrong orders is expected when you ask a place to go above and beyond. I'm extremely impressed at how Rigali's handled us. Every single employee we talked to was patient, nice, and accommodating even though we were asking for so much at such a late hour. Plus, did I mention the food was great!? We got salads, appetizers, and a pizza. The thin crust was great, toppings plentiful, and super delicious. Garlic bread was yummy. Salads were tasty and got the job done. I've been dining here since I was a kid and it was called Spyker's, in fact they still serve "Spyker's Lemonade". My guest and I decided to give them a shout out for weathering the storm through Covid!!! I had the Italian sub and my friend had the spaghetti and meatballs and we both think it's among the bendy we've ever had!! Yes it is my brother's restaurant and I'm not being parcel but I like his the best. The pizza dough is rolled daily and at both shifts. Spaghetti sauce and pizza sauce is homemade. Salads made fresh for every order and the way you want it. Great prices. read more

I have been a loyal customer if this place for many years. Sometimes 2 to 3 days a week. Very rarely gave I had any problems with the staff or food. On 3/31at 8:45pm, I ordered a pizza and sub. The sub tasted funny after a few bites. It was the lettuce. I didnt think much about it until I had a couple bites of pizza. Not sure what it was, but onions tasted funny. I waited until the next morning to call. When I did, I spoke with a gentleman and he told me they would replace the order. Just send back the food items when I order again. I told him I would put it in the in refrigerator until my next order. The gentleman I spoke with that morning, who I believe to be Rob Rigali was pleasant. I was having company a couple days later, so decided to get that order. I was shocked when I was told nobody there knew anything about it. So I asked to speak with the manager, Chuck, who was very nasty and condescending. Yes I raised my voice , he hung up on me , but there was no cursing! I have no reason to lie, and can afford to pay for my order. past, there have been a few little problems, but I told them about it on my next order. I spoke with me. Rigali on April 6. He insinuated I was lying and staff said I was cursing. Not true! I can afford to pay, so I had no motive to try a get a free order. they lost me after today, i used to support this local small business but they totally butchered every item i ordered today and paid too much for to begin with and keep in mind I'm trying to eat this on a lunch break from work so time is of the essence. once i realized the sandwich was covered in shredded lettuce and sauce. i called them back to tell them they had ruined the sandwich and wasted my lunch break in the nicest way possible, and had asked if they would be willing to write my name down for a comped sandwich the next time i ordered. i was told to pick the lettuce of. mind u this is immersed in mayonnaise and its flimsy nasty looking shredded lettuce. when i said i wasn't willing to eat this they told me they would give me a 3 dollar discount! 3 fucking dollars for a meal i just paid 15 for including the 4 dollar tip they sure didn't deserve, bottom line dont order shit from these people bc the chances are its gunna come fucked up and if it doesnt it will still prob taste like shit and be worth about 1/5th of what u paid lol. read more

The menu is very confusing. Ate there today and was charged 14.40 for a 10 inch chicken bacon ranch pizza. On the menu it never explained that the pizza in bold print where extra and that you have to pay 1.70 per toppings. When we ask about it after we received the bill the lady told us that the pizza in BOLD where Specialties pizza and we had to pay per toppings. We asked to speak to the manager and he gave us such a cocky attitude and said no pizza place will ever tell you how much there pizza are up front. I remembered pizza from Rigali's being very good when I was a kid, but they have either changed the quality of ingredients or the obviously incompetent staff doesn't know how to use them properly. Delivery person was very friendly, but the order was wrong. Bad customer service, generic food... there are way too many other pizza options in Lima to bother with this place. The wings were probably the worst I've ever eaten - the sauce tasted metallic. They put the wrong toppings on the pizza. They sent the wrong 2-liter. And the breadsticks were worse than the kind you can buy frozen in a box at the grocery store. The worst part of the whole experience is that my mother called them about the order and they just completely took advantage of her being nice. They did nothing but offer her a $6 credit (the bill was $21 and change)... great, so she has to give them more business just for them to make it right? Nice. So, no I would not recommend Rigali's, and when I'm visiting my mom in Lima, I'll offer to do a pick up from Beer Barrel so she doesn't order Rigali's delivery again. read more
