Living the Lima life for a week had us seeking out some fun and WestGate kept hitting the radar, so I was glad when our plans lead us here for some fun. Bowling, arcade, VR, restaurant, bumper cars and of course, a bar all under one roof, made for a great night with some new friends. The selection of arcade games was smaller than I'd expected but I found a few to play and ended up winning big on the ticket claws. The redemption counter had lots of fun items at reasonable ticket levels too, so I got a bunch of great toys to bring back to my kiddos. The bar was nicely stocked with a decent selection of beer and spirits. I settled on some Old No. 7 neat which did the trick. They also have nice party rooms here and our event had a buffet featuring a selection of their pizzas, a nacho bar, and what seemed to be hand breaded Midwest chicken chunks! Everything was tasty and the staff kept it well stocked too! I wish I hadn't spent so much time hanging in the bar (ok no I don't) but I missed out on experiencing everything else this place had to offer except the food and the arcade games. Great little find in Lima and no surprise why the local community likes hanging here! read more

Amazing place to bowl and to get food at, if you like to have a good time this would be the place to go to. Also there is a big arcade where you can play bumper cars and do some VR. read more

My sister in law, brother and I decided to bring our kids here for the OSU/Michigan game special. It was supposed to include 2 hours of bowling, a pizza buffet and unlimited fountain drinks. Two hours of bowling : check! The lanes are pretty good. They entered our names for us (in Columbus we enter our own names & choose a theme that we want our game to be in) and we didn't have any issues with the lane or the bowling balls. The selection of balls was a lot nicer than most places. Unlimited fountain drinks: check! No issues there. Their straws suck though. I swear every one I got had a hole in it which made it hard to drink my drank :) Unlimited pizza buffet: NO CHECK!!!!! BOO! What they had was 1 pizza made at a time. No choosing. And they got it for you. Sorry, but that is not what unlimited pizza buffet means. What if my kids had an allergy to beef or sausage. If you say you are going to have a buffet, have a buffet. Don't false advertise. You just piss people off. read more

West gate is typical Lima style pizza. toppings under the cheese. I think it rivals Fat jacks with the same style and flavor. Go and see for yourself. read more

Love the new Halogate virtual reality system and also the restaurant food and the bowling is fun and also they have banquet rooms that you can rent and the food is always great just an overall awesome place to go to get entertained and have fun for the kids too!!! Custom catering also!!! read more

My review is strictly on the restaurant...haven't walked the few feet forward into the bowling alley in years. BTW the restaurant is just inside the front doors - you do not have to go through the bowling alley. I've been here quite a few times over the years and averaging the ratings nets us a clear four stars. Food usually good...most recently I ordered the breaded tenderloin sandwich. Good and meaty without being pounded to the thickness of a sheet of paper. My baked potato was good and served with butter (but no sour cream). I sampled the fries from another plate and while done and hot, they were not crisp. There were five in our party and ratings were one two stars (taco salad) , one five stars (Cuban) and three four stars (pulled pork, hamburger, tenderloin). Prices are good! The chef salad in here is good. Menu is mostly sandwiches; breakfast is good and served all day! Decor is getting tired...my chair had torn upholstery. But restaurant was clean and service was good. What's gone on with Westgate grill. Use to be the best pizza in town. Well worth the extra money. Now pizza's don't have hardly any sauce. Toppings and cheese. I would never write a negative review but three times isn't just a bad day. I will never do business their again. Too bad. I'm sure losing more then my business. read more

So confused about the reviews written prior, something is just not right! This bowling alley is literally falling apart, they use duck tape on all their ball returns, carpet is bubbling up every where and do not try to walk on the tile floors without sticking to them. The restrooms are in poor condition, repairs are not the priority here. They seem content on just getting as much money as they possibly can and forget the repairs or upkeep. For people that say they are pizza buffs and say this pizza is good, have definitely not traveled or been to good pizza places. The pizza is alright, sauce taste straight from a can, I see they receive deliveries from a pizza place called pizza station, I assume they are either getting their dough or sauce form them, probably both. This is mediocre pizza at best, but in Lima, that sells, trust me! Price is outrageous for bowling if you do by the two hours for $45, it is cheaper to do per game, they try to push you into the hourly packages but they are really not deals. Need to close this place, wash away the dirt, fix the lanes and building and then try to re-open! Update- went back today to see if I missed something, sorry I did not! The service was not that great but ok but the fact that the fries were over cooked the chicken chunks we're the wrong ones, also if you have and glunten issue make sure you don't order the chicken they fry them with breaded foods give three stars because I'm hard on myself as a chef I am visiting from FL for family reasons but will stay away read more

They have a limited menu. The pizza is very good, we order take out alot. We decided to try the restaurant last night. I got sandwich and sweet potato fries, and my husband got a ham sandwich and onion strings. Sandwiches were small. I got coffee, and we both ordered water to drink. Waited about a half hour to get drinks. Then the waitress forgot to put our order in. The check came to $23. Not worth it! Won't go back read more

The people checking us in were so rude. They spoke to us as if we were kids. I recommend you not come here. We had the free tickets I understand the shoe rental, but three free ticket only equaled one game. We asked for the manager and the heavy set guy with grey hair would not get him. Still the kids had fun but they treated us as if we were kids. Than the guy with brown hair older guy came to speak with us but got mad and walked away. They are rude and should not be in a family franchise. I've been coming here since I was a child and never have I experienced such rudeness. read more
