What an amazing, outstanding place!…read more Their Gluten Free pizza is ridiculously delicious! This was absolutely shocking. I hate gluten free food, but I dont have much choice. Donatos will feed you something you will simply adore, no matter how crippling your food allergies. Service was better than expected, another absolute shock! I mean, it may be Small Town, KY, but they take pizza as seriously as I do! I ordered a topping combo I am certain they've never had to make before, and they knocked it out of the park. I am stuffed so full, and have plenty of leftovers for the next few days. I am so in love w this place, as soon as the guy dropped off my order, I immediately called them up to thank them and gush over how happy and excited I am. Sigh, and I'm still basking in the afterglow. Absolutely get a weird topped, weird crust pizza here! You will love it so much!

I do not give it 5 stars because of the horrible website that simply stays broken all the time. It does not let you check out after you spend the time to get your order together. Once you realize you can't log out, you then must try to remember what everyone ordered and tell it to whomever answered the phone. Rarely, depending on the person you get, do you get anything like consistency. Do not bother paying extra for any toppings. They will come to you the same regardless if you paid for extra or not. The salads are the best...and the worst. They can come full to the top and just bursting with the greens that make them a salad, or mostly toppings with very little veg under. Consistency varies greatly depending on who is managing the store the day you order.

The pizza is cooked to absolute perfection: golden brown, slight bits of darker around the crust that, combined with the cheese and sauce, create the perfect mouthgasm that I know we all yearn for. I thought where can I go and sit at the bar by myself and feel comfortable. I remembered how friendly the bartenders are at MELLOW MUSHROOM. The host wasn't real encouraging that I could find a seat but he was wrong. I was craving spinach artichoke dip and a Moscow mule. Both were absolutely delicious. The female bartender greeted me immediately and introduced herself. The couple next to me were new in town and we immediately struck up a conversation. I absolutely did not feel alone. I will never doubt myself again about going there and enjoying myself. I wanted to add that the bar had people of all ages, I might have been the oldest but not by much!

We chose the thin crust option. The toppings were plentiful but I don't believe they were evenly distributed. Also, for a thin crust pizza, I found this pizza was a little thicker than what I am used to for a thin crust pizza. I would describe it as more of a hand tossed style pizza than a thin crust pizza. It was pretty good though and larger than I had anticipated for two people. The delivery was prompt and the delivery person left it in front of our hotel restaurant as requested. I give this establishment a solid 3 1/2 stars. If I ordered again, I would opt for a medium sized considering this was probably too much for two people. Recommended!

We walked in and there were a couple of families sitting and eating pizzas. The restaurant needs an update for sure. We looked at the menu for a minute and decided on the ham calzone and the steak calzone. We got small ones because we wanted dessert. The young man greeted us and helped us with sizing on the calzones. He also told us about the cinnamon sticks when my husband mentioned that he wanted dessert. We got our drinks, found a table, and waited for our calzones. They didn't take very long (about 7-8 minutes). First they brought our cinnamon sticks and frosting out on a pizza tray (which totally surprised us), then they brought out our calzones. The calzone was piping hot from the oven, so I had to grab plastic ware to be able to eat it. It was tasty - chock full of cheese, onions, peppers, and steak. The cinnamon sticks were good. Overall we enjoyed our food, and we hope that the atmosphere of the restaurant changes for the better.

We started out with a round of appetizers, including the dog bowl nachos and the fried pickles (which were some of the better fried pickles I've had, and I liked the dipping sauce). The spinach and artichoke dip was pretty good too. I had the Thai Pasta Salad with added grilled shrimp as my entrée. I can't say I've seen pasta salad on many menus, especially as an entrée. It was interesting but I felt like it was super salty, and the same with the added shrimp. I didn't have anything to drink, but the happy hour drink prices are pretty good and they have specialty cocktails. My coworkers and I agreed that we felt like the food was too salty and heavy, and that was our biggest gripe. I'd still come back to drink or watch a game on the many TVs here.
