Chicken and Spinach

Great food and service! We had appetizers and they give you breadsticks. Our server was great. The only thing that threw me off was the Philly cheese steak was Italian sausage but everything else was great.

Greek Salad

This place truly has great cheesecake, we split the Turtle cheese cake and it was amazing! Very fresh and a hefty slice. They had many options on hand and tell you what they have available when they bring you the dessert menu. I also loved the fried mac and cheese balls. I would recommend you try them! The Greek salad and breadsticks were fine but nothing great, but the breadsticks were free which was nice. The service was good and the staff was Friendly. This place had many seating options and a huge menu! You should find something for everyone here. Don't expect anything fancy though, typical roadside Italian. The standout here was the dessert.

Eggplant Parmigiana

I'll be honest, it has taken some years for my fondness of Gondolier to grow to the level it is now. A recent trip to OG made me realize just how good we have it. Gondolier has the best eggplant parmigiana!! Their breadsticks are okay-a bit bland for my liking. Some butter and garlic could take them over the edge. Their marinara has a slight cinnamon touch that has grown on me. Service is consistently good. They have great cream based soups. The cream of broccoli (Tuesdays) is my favorite! I highly recommend it!

Baked Cannelloni with Meatballs and Broccoli Soup
Brooke R.

The Baked Cannelloni was delicious. The breadsticks were better than Olive Garden's. Still had leftovers for the next day. I also got seven sins, because I heard they had the best chocolate cakes. It tasted like save a lot chocolate Bundt cake. Waste of $8. Should've got the cheesecake instead.

Always clean, the food is good, and the service is excellent. They have continued to step it up over the last year.

I had the veal parmigiana and it was pretty good especially for the price the spaghetti was kinda watery but again not bad.

It will suit dating couples, business associates, and families well. (Families, provided everyone knows how to use their indoor voice.) The food is wonderful! The sauces are light and flavorful. The meat & pasta cooked perfectly! I went with my best friend on a road trip and found this place on Apple Maps. We had stuffed mushroom appetizers, which were wonderful and they did not skimp on the crabmeat. The soup of the day was spinach & broccoli cream, which was buttery, but light. It was an excellent accompaniment to the homemade rolls! I had the pasta trio: lasagna, manicotti, and spinach ravioli in meat sauce. The meat sauce was delicious. (Next time I'll get the cream sauce on the spinach ravioli.) Yum!! My best friend had the Chicken Florentine on gluten free penne pasta. She said it was perfectly executed and perfectly balanced. "It's worth getting off the highway for!"

Sitting unassuming along Happy Valley Road, Napoli's Italian Restaurant is Glasgow's answer to a…read moreclassic, white-tablecloth trattoria. While the exterior might suggest a standard small-town eatery, the interior transforms into an intimate escape, complete with soft lighting and a warm, countryside charm that feels surprisingly sophisticated for Barren County. Here is our experience based on a recent visit starting with our Appetizer: Stuffed Mushrooms, We began the evening with the Stuffed Mushrooms, a dish that sets a high bar for the rest of the meal. These aren't your typical breadcrumb-heavy fillers; instead, the silver-dollar caps are generously packed with a savory blend of crab meat and herbs, then bathed in a rich, velvety sherry pink sauce. The sauce is the real star--creamy with a slight acidic brightness that cuts through the richness of the seafood. It begs to be mopped up with a piece of their warm, house-made garlic rolls. For our main course, the Lobster Ravioli was an absolute triumph. The pasta arrived perfectly al dente, housing a delicate, buttery lobster filling. What elevates this dish above standard fare is the presentation; the ravioli are tossed with chopped tomatoes and fresh basil, then smothered in that same signature pink sauce found in the appetizers. It's a decadent, "more-is-more" approach to Italian dining that feels celebratory. The portions are notably large--typical of Napoli's reputation for value. We selected the Limoncello Mascarpone Cake for dessert. To cleanse the palate after a symphony of cream and garlic, the Limoncello Mascarpone Cake is essential. It's a light, airy sponge cake layered with a tart lemon mascarpone cream and finished with a dusting of white chocolate shavings. Unlike a heavy cheesecake, this dessert is refreshing and bright--a citrusy "exclamation point" at the end of a heavy meal. Napoli's succeeds because it doesn't try to reinvent the wheel; it simply polishes it. Between the attentive, friendly service and a menu that leans heavily into authentic, "made-from-scratch" flavors, it remains a hidden gem for anyone in the Somerset or Lexington area looking for a short drive to a high-quality meal.

We wanted Italian. And this looked like the place to go with all five star reviews…read more First the parking. There is a lot of free parking in the adjacent Stadium Park Plaza garage. It's a bit confusing to find the restaurant though from there, as there is no access from the first floor. But from the 2nd and 3rd floor there is access using the elevator. The bulb in the elevator area needs to be replaced because it's burned out, and all dark like a scene from a horror movie. The restaurant faces the ballpark stadium Inside the restaurant there weren't many customers on a weekday for dinner. It was our waitresses second day and she messed up quite a lot. Like the bill/check had us all ordering drinks and extra meat with our pasta, but we didn't do any of that. But she was nice about it all, and even comp'd us a $5 beer which I pointed out to her that she didn't add to the bill yet (that being the one and only omission in the midst of all the wrong add-ons). The fried calamari appetizer was good. Only the rings. No arms. The pomodoro sauce was nice. But overall it was just an average dish and much better at other places. The New York strip was good. But they didn't have asparagus. That would be ok if not for the fact that they only have 3 sides to choose from: roasted potatoes, rice, and asparagus. So it was either double potatoes or the rice. So we got the rice. And it was super boring, and tasted overcooked and chewy. The steak and potatoes were good though. The kid's Alfredo was good too. But the carbonara was kinda bland. The waitress and said it was a white sauce but upon checking it was butter sauce she told us. But it was really not worth it. The complimentary bread they served with the meal tasted like pretzel bread. Kinda hard and chewy. But hot. It was good. It comes with olive oil for dipping. Over $100 for 3 people. It was kinda steep. And add to that a 3% surcharge for using a credit card. Well that really was like salt in the wound. Is all of bowling green like that with credit surcharges? Sure hope not.

What I'm most appreciative of, is when my grandma, who wasn't feeling well that day, assisted our family with helping get a trash can so my grandma didn't get sick on herself. The staff who worked today was patient, attentive, and genuinely compassionate, helping her without ever making her feel like a burden. That level of humanity is rare and deeply appreciated. Our food was great and the service was the amazing and will be remembered by all of us! We'll always be grateful and will absolutely be back. The last time I ate here was 13-14 years ago and I'm glad I came back again with the family. My Nana loves those butter squares & bread. :) Kim S. was very friendly and kind. #1 server!!! Thanks for taking our photos!

Great food. Great service. Great atmosphere right off the square…read more Someone told me there were no good restaurants in Russellville. Wrong. This joint had excellent food. We started with the fried cheese ravioli appetizer. Two thumbs up. Way up. And they bring out bread with it that soaks up that extra sauce so well. It is the perfect complement to that appetizer. For the main meal, we went with the Baked Mac Poseidon, Chicken Parmigiano, Meatball Marinara, and Eggplant Parmigiano. The chicken and meatballs here are fantastic. The eggplant was maybe the best I've ever had. Anywhere. The Baked Mac was the only dish I didn't love, and that stems from the fact that I have never liked mixing cheese and seafood. If that's your thing, I say go for it. As a bonus, these guys can make a pretty good Bloody Mary. I'll be back. If you're driving anywhere near the county seat of Logan, it's worth a stop. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised.

Tonight…read morethere were four (4) of us -- upon arrival, they had no record of our reservation which was done (AND CONFIRMED) last week via FB Messenger. Nonetheless, they were able to accommodate us with only a brief wait -- overall, not a big deal. Service was average at best. Server was polite but did not write down our orders which meant coming back to confirm -- both drinks and food several times. We always enjoyed the pizza here so when we inquired about the pizza menu, none was provided but the server "rattled off" three pizza options. Not a good impression since, once we got a menu from the manager, there were plenty of choices. Took, what seemed like, forever to get drinks -- still not sure if there was actually a bartender or if the servers were handling the drinks. MUSIC IS INSANELY LOUD!!! TERRIBLE! Food was mediocre -- it used to be off the charts fantastic. Shrimp and Grits (two orders) were floating in grease from the onions and peppers -- it was awful. Pasta Alfredo, with shrimp and chicken was very good! Salmon with risotto was just okay. Long story short -- this place used to be fantastic, an absolute no brainer to visit regularly. But after three recent visits, we'll take a year or two off until they get their act together.

Email sent to beau@copperandoakky.com (taken from La Cosa Nostra's Facebook page) last night with…read moreno response (yet); will update review if a response is received: "I really don't know where to begin, I'm so taken aback. You're a restaurant in the business of hospitality, right? Perhaps share that with your employee named Ellie, who took it upon herself to nastily and aggressively berate my sister this evening. Let me paint a picture for you. Our party dined with you in observance of three family birthdays (my sister's being one of them) and brought a homemade cake to enjoy, just as we did last year when we reserved the vault room. Imagine our surprise when, upon receiving the checks, we were charged a $25 "cake cutting fee." I realize that's just semantics, like a "corkage fee," but maybe call it something else when the servers do no such thing. I digress. When questioned by my sister about the charge, Ellie told her in no uncertain terms that the cake cutting fee was clearly posted "on the door, the menu, and the website." Multiple members of our party thoroughly checked all three places and found it stated NOWHERE. The audacity! How rude and misinformed can one person be? Needless to say, an otherwise pleasant experience was instantly and wholly ruined by one person's lack of professionalism and tact. I've never had a bad experience at Copper & Oak, so I'm not sure what's gone wrong at La Cosa Nostra, but none of my meals there have come close by comparison. And you can be assured I'll never spend my hard earned money there again; in fact, I'll be hesitant to support Copper & Oak by mere association. And I'll be quick to caution others regarding both establishments. I'll be curious to see if this email is ignored (my prediction) or handled in a timely, professional manner. And even more curious to see - if acknowledged - how you intend to remedy the situation. Oh, and you might consider updating the website, as you highlight both spaghetti and meatballs and saltimbocca, but serve neither."
