I have been at this location many times. It is a good stopping point on my trips between Indiana and North Carolina. This time it was Halloween with both staff and customers dressed for the occasion. I had a large half westsider and half "Make no Mi-steak" without the broccoli. My husband had a large specialty pizza with pineapple and chicken which he liked, but I thought was meh. My pizza was good as usual, but the westsider was not as good. There didn't seem to be enough pork on it and I had difficulty tasting the barbecue sauce. Staff was great and we will definitely be back on our next trip to the tri-state. read more

Came into town for LS FEST- hands down one of the best restaurants to eat at while in town - reasonable pricing - fills you up - and pizzas are 100# customizable and very tasty! 100% can recommend . Parking is a little hard tho ! read more

Love this place. I literally eat it at least once a week. I mean who can't eat pizza every week!? We use to go to blaze, but their quality got really bad. Either burnt or undercooked. The pizzas here are ran through a a toasting oven, so it's standardized and perfect every time. I will warn you that the bacon and olives, although the bacon is amazing, are really salty. I'm a big fan of counter-serve build-your-own pizza, and love trying new variants of it. Upon walking in on a Sunday evening I didn't have the highest hopes for Azzip: there was no one in the place, the selection of toppings was scant compared to Blaze, Pieology, and the like, and there was no brick oven! Also, the cheese they use is placed on the pizza in large slices (resembling, say, Kraft processed sliced cheese, though in this case I'm pretty sure the cheese is legit). Again, not high hopes... ...but you know what? The pizza ended up being very tasty! I liked the consistency of the crust, and the sauce and cheese worked well together. Also, while the selection of toppings wasn't great, they did load them on pretty generously. Another thing I liked: The 7" pizza option. Most places just have the 11" pie, and for me that's a little too large for one meal, and not quite enough for two. All in all, I still prefer Blaze, Pieology, and Mod, but would still come back here on occasion for something a little different. read more

Came here for a late lunch on a Friday. Parking lot was full, but I'm not sure why. Got the March crabness pizza, my favorite. I asked them to back off the cream cheese. It appears that my instincts were correct. They had almost doubled the amount of cream cheese they use on this pizza. They were kind enough to reduce the amount for me which was great. My family and I were treated the worst dining experience of our lives today at the Bowling green Ky location. I am a 69 year old retired contractor. Myself my wife my grandaughter and her friend ordered our meal,when the order came up I took the pizza to the table and I accidently spilled my drink.I went to the register and informed them, the store manager came to the table with a towel and some napkins and said here is what you need to clean up the mess!! Holy crap, this place is awesome. Stopped in on a whim today to grab something for lunch. The girl who waited on me was fantastic; I told her it was my first time and she gave me a crash course on the whole setup. Pizzas come in two sizes: 8", and 11". But, to be honest, getting anything less than the 11" should be considered a crime, because you're going to want all of this food that you can conceivably fit into your person. She told me they also offered salads and "Zip Sticks", which is their take on cheese sticks. And then she dropped the bombshell that you can get them all combined. As in, half pizza, half zip sticks, with salad dumped right on top. This was a thing, and it was happening. I took most of the girl's suggestions, which included combining the Italian Red sauce with their Azzip Pesto, for a really unique, kinda spicy base. Pepperoni for my meat, and just a hot pepper blend to top it all off. Of course, this was only on one side, as the other was setup for my Zip Sticks/makeshift salad plate. For the salad, I did red onions, mushrooms, and sun-dried tomatoes with this baller vinaigrette blend that I could have chugged straight from the bottle. All in all, this turned into a literal pile of food. It probably could have fed two people, but screw civility, your loved ones can fend for themselves at Azzip Pizza. This was a gargantuan offering, built for a man but meant for someone who is so much more. The salad was fantastic. Veggies were crisp and fresh, and the vinaigrette mixed very nicely with the tomatoes. The only, albeit small, gripe I had was that the warmth of the pizza made the salad a bit warm. But, thermodynamics. After I inhaled the salad, I dug into the Zip Sticks. Had I only purchased a box of these, I would have been more than content. The Azzip Pesto, garlic butter, and Romano cheese blended exceptionally well with the crust. Not too overpowering, as a lot of pizza places tend to do with their forays into pesto (looking at you, Mellow Mushroom). And then there was the pizza itself. My God. In a world of Domino's and Pizza Huts, I forgot how good this stuff can be when its done right. The cheese was warm and gooey, and the hot pepper blend was absolutely perfect (though not as spicy as some that I've had from other places, which I'm sure a lot of people will appreciate). I got a cookie, too. I could tell you how it was ridiculously soft and rich, but eating it was more akin to a religious experience than an after-dinner snack. Go to Azzip Pizza. read more

I'm not a fan of the fast casual pizza chains. The pizza normally tastes cheap and underwhelming. I should add I'm not a thin crust fan so pardon my knocks on this new trend of pizzerias. Azzip was what I would call thin but had a really good flavor. The sauce holds up the toppings were great and was cooked to perfection. AZZIP sets the gold standard for pizza in Bowling Green. I prefer them over Den9toes and Blaze. One day I want to have my wedding, first child, and funeral here. (Simultaneously). Wow... I have a wheat allergy and have to order gluten free..... which the majority of the time is like eating the pizza box ... The gluten free pizza here is very good. The staff cleaned the area .. washed their hands put on gloves and my pizza was placed in a separate aluminum pan. Azzip is pizza spelled backwards! The speed at which you are sitting down to eat is just as zippy as the name. This concept of fast cooked pizza that is ready while you pay has been long overdo. With such a fast system of dining combined with fast food pricing it is only fitting that my rating doesn't display top marks. I still feel that it is a good choice for eating out with the entire family that will not break the bank. The staff was helpful and the dining area was clean with an up tempo design. The Mr. Potato head pizza was delicious and the cheese was pretty good too. The Evil Pig might not be every ones cup of tea as the sauce was super sweet and the chips, while delicious in their own right, may not be every one's ideal pick for a pizza topping. This is my favorite pizza in BG. I like thin crust and the ability to customize with fresh, non-processed ingredients. Azzip also offers cauliflower crust, vegan cheese, and vegetarian sausage for those looking for special dietary options. My 4-star rating is not based on the food or service, but on the air quality in the restaurant. It wasn't like this when they first opened, but suddenly the whole restaurant is smoky every time I go in to eat. For starters, the location is terrible. The restaurant is very small. They have very few toppings. You're only allowed 1 meat. Any extra is a dollar. Same with cheese. They only have about 9 veggies to choose from. When the pizza came out, it didn't taste all that well. There was barely any sauce on there. For me, I like to be able to taste everything I have on there. The one good thing about azzip is that they have 2 different sizes.
