Griffs is a BG staple and a favorite amongst friends. This was my first time! I got half Chipotle Chicken Panini, which was really flavorful and just the right amount of food when paired with the 8 oz potato soup and (perhaps the best part) the pickle. Staff were very friendly. Not too busy. Ordered at the counter and got a seat inside. The potato soup was creamy and cheesy with a good flavor. Would've liked it if the soup was in a bowl instead of plastic tupperware for dining in, but I guess it's convenient if you take some to-go. For $12.95, this was a tasty meal! read more

So much to talk about. We had a sampling of many items on the menu. I had the buffalo chicken wrap. It was very good. My fiancé had the spud with butter and cheese. It was much more than she could eat. One of our daughters had the broccoli and cheese spud. It was also a huge portion. I also had the broccoli salad and chicken salad. Both were very good. Highlight was the chicken salad. It was VERY good. Definitely want to get it as a sandwich if you are good with eating bread. Also fairly reasonable. Was very quiet and peaceful, especially for a late lunch stop. There are a lot of food options in Bowling Green. Definitely check out this local establishment! Service was friendly and quick. Huge dining room as well as a big outdoor area with tables. The staff were friendly and efficient. Veggie panini was very good! Beware that broccoli salad is not vegetarian. I should have asked but couldn't eat most of it as tiny bits of diced bacon were mixed throughout. I would definitely visit again if I'm in the area. read more

Griffs was the first restaurant I was ever truly obsessed with, and revisiting it almost 8 years after my first encounter my thought remains the same! In college I would say that Griffs was going to cater my wedding (and if I hadn't gotten married in Vegas they probably would have!) What I recommend: The chipotle chicken panini, the ranchero wrap (on spinach), the chipotle chicken spud. If looking to try more than one thing get the pick two. Even 8 years later I still get the pick two so I can get different things. And get the sweet tea!!!! Nothing beats that giant styrofoam cup of tea so darn sweet. Their paninis are crisp, ingredients fresh, and my order has never once been wrong. They are doing something right and you can tell by how busy they stay! Decided to give Griffs Deli a try while in Bowling Green during vacation. They offer many vegetarian options which is what drew me to them. I tried to order the pick two and get a veggie wrap and a potato. It was 6pm on a Friday and they were "not doing potatoes" because their machine wasn't working right. This was odd because after I sat at my table, I learned that my friend who ordered before me got a potato. I then tried to order the Summer Salad which they were also not doing because they were out of strawberries. I decided to just get the veggie wrap without mushrooms. When it arrived, it was nothing but mushrooms, and I didn't see any cheese, sprouts, avocado, and a tiny amount of lettuce and sprouts. The staff was very apologetic, remade it, and it was ok. I dipped it in the chipotle sauce that I ordered on the side. If you order the Pick 1 you get a pickle and Ruffles which I believe are just from a bag. There are plenty of tables inside and outside. There is an attached parking lot. I didn't see anyone coming around to clean tables and the trash was full when we left. They were rather busy as is it a Friday night. When possible on busy days, perhaps there could be a person dedicated to running food and keeping an eye on the cleaning of tables, trash, and restrooms. I'd consider giving them another try. read more

Amazing lunch spot! Recently came in with coworkers and had a fantastic experience. Lots of options at very reasonable prices, friendly employees providing great service, and a cozy clean atmosphere. Got our food in plenty of time for a quick lunch break and packaged in to-go containers ready to take leftovers back to the office. Griffs is now in our regular rotation when my team travels to BG! Stopped by here on a trip per a friend's recommendation. There was a sign alerting customers of a staffing shortage and to please be patient. You order through a line and then find your table. I ordered the wise guy panini and my wife the chicken salad melt. We opted for baked potato salad and a broccoli salad for our sides instead of chips. My panini was made of salami, ham, and cheeses I got it fully dressed. The melt had a lot of chicken salad covered with cheese on white bread. The sandwiches were good and the sides OK. The fresh brewed sweet tea was really good. Good recommendation and glad we stopped. read more

8/29/ The girl that took my wife and mines order never spoke she just stood there, we ordered she handed me my change and never spoke. She had the personality of a door knob. The food My wife's salad was ok it had no dressing on it, we're not sure if that's the way it comes or could she get dressing, the girl never spoke. It's been quite a while since I eaten at Griffs my wife and I were looking forward to sitting down and having a nice meal. My wife orders me the same a wise guy half sandwich and a broccoli cranberry salad, which I look forward to enjoying. I tell her I always want a broccoli cranberry. we received our food and of course the sandwich delicious like always. The salad for some reason they put it in a small little container, the problem is when you open the top which probably been sitting there even for a day because it was late in the afternoon the juices would go to the bottom which there were none.! So sorry to say it was very dry. I asked for some dressing and they brought out this yellow substance that had a strong vinegar Smell. The vinegar was overpowering took it back asked for another and I probably ate not even a quarter. There was 3/4 of the salad left. I sorry I can't eat this. The vinegar is overpowering, and after talking to the third person from the back, she said in for me to receive another one she would have to charge me again. And she wanted to argue about it. I put my hands up, backed off. I was there to enjoy a nice afternoon meal with my wife and I remember how they used to serve the broccoli cranberry salad. It would be in the display case where you could see it and it would be in a large bowl and they would take a big spoon and spoon out some in a smaller bowl. But now they have it in these little containers with tops on them sitting there drying up. The sad thing about it they could've gave me a refund which I didn't receive, and I only had a few bites of the salad. After talking to the third person which I guess was the manager. She was not a good people person. If she was a manager she should not have been put in that position, she just didn't know how to listen to customers. It's one thing to explain something to a customers, but then it's another thing to listen to the customer. I'll probably be back for the sandwich, but you won't see me buying the broccoli cranberry salad that was as dry as a martini anymore. OK. read more

This is the first time I ate there and not sure I'd go back. There is plenty of seating. I had the create a combo, the 1/2 turkey wrap and 1/2 bbq spud. It came with a pickle slice. The turkey on the wrap describes it as 'sliced Turkey'. I would describe it as Oscar Meyer cold cuts. It wasn't really full. The honey mustard dressing was good. The Texas spud needed more bbq sauce and no sour cream or butter was in the side. All in all it was ok. read more
