I'm so shocked...after going here for over a decade I just discovered today that they served breakfast ALL DAY LONG and have been doing so for 3+ years! Pretty much the only time I eat here is during "breakfast hours" bc I love their breakfast burrito so much. And many of the times I avoid this place despite being near by is bc I assumed they weren't serving breakfast burritos and I'd rather get other Mexican fare at the many food carts a few mins south of DP. The DP breakfast burrito is fantastic....it is a perfect rendition of an American style breakfast burrito (and IMO the classic American style BB is the best). The eggs and potatoes were both nice and soft and provide texture but hide out in the background so that you could enjoy the protein and pile on the hot sauces and salsas from their salsa bar. I feel like the price for the breakfast burrito has remained relatively cheap in comparison to the minimum wage which makes me really happy as well. So many things have gone up in price in 2022 bc of inflation so it's nice to see things that were great values remain great values (and you can argue that it is cheaper now than it used to be relative to the cost of labor.

Totally agree with the review below! The best breakfast burritos come from Don Pedro. The burritos are huge and affordable. I'm not a vegetarian but I do love getting my burrito with avocado instead of meat. It is soooo good.

These locations are great, fast, cheep AND have the BEST breakfast burritos. 6$ and you have a loaded egg, hashbrown, and meat (sausage, bacon, ham...or all). they are super filling and made fresh. I ordered the french toast and it was just like home made nothing super fancy, cooked well and good. Dont come here expecting gourmet, 5 star is for the consistency and bang for the buck. plus drive through!!!

Great food and service! And they have all new furniture which makes the dining that much more enjoyable.

Tamales were yummy and food was hot and made to order. Wish it came a little faster but no biggie still made a great dinner at work thank you .

It doesn't taste as good as we remembered. It's been 2 1/2 years since my last review, not that long since we've been in to eat. But overall, the portions and flavors were lacking. Maybe memories just can't compare to the real thing? My date had the enchilada plate with chicken. She's the one that said it didn't taste as good as she recalls. I had the tamai and enchilada plate in pork (the non-spicy one). The talai was just okay but not great. My pork enchilada was the same way. The rice and beans were fine, and ample. Service was quick and prices were fairly cheap. Overall experience was not breathtaking, not even close.

We knew when we kept seeing the landscaping trucks in their parking lot, that this was a place we should try! Our first visit was great, fish tacos, pork enchiladas, chips n salsa. We thought the food was a bit salty, but good. The traditional sides are very good and so was the salsa bar. Low prices. Simple and good with nice service, we'll be back!

Ordered the Carnitas Burrito. Second bite into burrito, bit into something hard. Found these weird teal colored rocks that broke apart like dust when I bit into it.

Wow. I honestly cannot overstate how helpful the staff is here. I planned a company party with pretty little time to prepare, but given 20 hours notice, Don Pedro put together a great spread! We had them do a Taco Bar for 40 people with chicken, carne asada, refried beans, cheese, lettuce, onions, cilantro, green/red salsa, rice, and chips, and it was a hit. Great value, too. I'm taking some home and I'll probably be able to eat on it for days! Tl:Dr - Good food, great price, give it a shot.

Oh my lanta...why have I never tried "huevos rancheros?!". It's because I can never abandon my loooove of tacos. Well I was felling eggy and decided to go rogue on my usual choice and go big w h rancheros w pork chop because why not. First bites...wait for it...mind blown. Man oh man the flavors were dynamite. I mean my tastebuds were singing hymns. Haha. On the reals...each part of the plate complimented the whole dish. The pork chop well seasoned was not super dry like one cut this thin can be. We also ordered a torta which was completely polished off btw. But I barely left my plate to try it and usually I try everyone's dish...multiple times. Lol. I also loved the serve yourself bar that offered salsas, radish, pickled goodness and crockpot filled w buttery onions/jalapeños. We arrived on a Sunday right before 1pm and got a seat in a pretty filled up joint. We seem to beat the churchgoer rush that was filing in quickly after we left. What a great first experience trying h rancheros! Now for a siesta :)

So I always used to go to the Fourth Plain location in Vancouver when I worked up there and every time I had a great meal. I just moved to SE so I wanted to check out the closest one to my house - it took me a bit cause I didn't want to be disappointed (I was not). Went through the drive through and service was fast, correct, and friendly. Tastes exactly the way I was hoping it would. Got the burrito combo al pastor and the enchiladas with carnitas. $19 total for two entrees and we still have some left over. I will go back soon!

I was excited to go here as I had been meaning to visit for at least 6 months. I wasn't disappointed. This taqueria is the real deal, and very authentic. I also appreciate it's LGBTQ owned, and like to be inclusive in how I spend money. The tacos are amazing I had two there, and took two home. They were all delicious and not one disappointed. Their taco menu is very extensive, and it's nice that they have a lot of vegetarian options as well. One of my favorites was the one with mole ,and poblanos, also the chicken one, also the carnitas. Flavors so rich and satisfying. The staff is very friendly, and helpful. Extremely quick service which I love. Even though I only speak a little bit of Spanish. I tried, and they were very welcoming. They are fluent in Spanish. I knew it was an authentic taqueria when I heard a native spanish speaker speak Spanish at the counter. I don't want to leave out their drinks as they have quite a selection both alcoholic, and non alcoholic. I tried the horchata, which was amazing. I have been craving Pozole for a long time, and they had it as a special chicken with green sauce, and pork and a red sauce. Both simply amazing and a great deal. This restaurant is very reasonable, and you get quite a lot for the money. Last but not least I can't forget the ambiance which felt very authentic, and reminded me of being in a Taqueria in Mexico or Southern California. the place is decorated very thoughtful with a lot of candles, and many shrines. They also have a love of Mariah Carey and saw many photos of here in the restaurant. They have both outdoor seating and indoor seating. A lot of plants outside which all seem very happy and well cared for. I love this place, and will be going back for sure. The place is very casual which I appreciate. I have had some meals at the bar where the bartenders were genuinely engaged knowledgeable and happy to walk you through their agave list which only enhances the whole experience. I will be honest and say that the service can sometimes lean into the typical Portland vibe of aloof and uninterested but there have also been moments especially at the bar where the staff really shines and makes you feel welcome and taken care of.
