Over the last several years the quality of the food and prices have really turned what used to be a weekly food stop to a never again dining option. I don't understand why a bean and cheese burrito needs to cost $8. And when I asked for pico de gallo inside, why I was charged an additional .75 without being told? They use a payment system that does not show you your total (or accommodate tips), and I feel it's for shady purposes so that you don't realize you are being overcharged. If the quality of food was exceptional, I would gladly pay $16 for a standard chicken burrito; but sadly, I would prefer a food truck Mexican experience over a mediocre drive-thru. I won't be going to SBE anymore even though they are around the corner from my house. read more

Been coming here for 20ish years. My Dad would bring us out when this was the White place on the corner & my son ate just Frijoles y arroz. My Dad has passed, when we go to take flowers we always stop here for lunch always. We love the food & honor my Dad at the same time. Best Mexican food & lots of memories read more

If there is anything to say that is not positive is that the lengua & asada is overcooked. The lengua is mushy and the asada is dry. On the positive they are both extremely flavorful and there is an abundance of meat on the tacos. The service is pretty much like everyone else having to work on a Sunday, not pleasant but not rude. It's actually the cleanest fast food place that I've been to in several months now. I would visit again if in this part of town. read more

So this place was the last stop of the night. I got wind that they had Churros. So decided to hit up the drive thru! I get there and I order 2 Churros! When I get to the window. The cashier asked me "What flavors would you like?" Wait what you have different flavors?" "Yes! There is Apple, Strawberry. Regular and Chocolate. I decided to try the apple and Strawberry. The guy goes to grab them and hands them to me with a big smile and says "here you can just have them"..... Me: Really are you sure! He says :Yes we are closing soon. You can just have them! I couldn't believe it! Sitting in my car doing the happy dance once again!!! I thanked him and was on my way to flavor town! The Churros were excellent. Thank you to the guy in the drive Thru. I utilize the drive thru. Amazing, massive breakfast burrito. Tasty other food. I usually get a chile relleño or super nachos without meat. Other family members are fans of other burritos. I'm not a fan of the vegetable burrito or super burrito, but to each his own, Pretty sure my family and I got sick from a Jamaica agua fresca there once, and maaaaybe a second time from a horchata. However, 2 iffy moments among the 2-3 times monthly we've gone here over 5 years seems not so bad. People are nice too. read more

The portions here a ridiculously large, The drive thru can be a little tricky it's like 3 feet up from my car window #shortgirlprobz and you now need to bring your own bag or buy one from them to get your food home. Literally the best rib eye carne asada in all of pdx! I've been to lots of similar places and not one has been able to surpass this quality and quantity that is Super burrito express's rib eye carne asada. When you do go there always ask for extra meat not because they don't give you enough it's because you always want more. Once again best in all pdx! I dare you to find a better place for the price! And if you do please let me know because I gotta eat it to believe it. read more

I can't eat gluten due to an autoimmune disease. This place is close-ish to our house so I grabbed a menu, studied it, and called during a non-busy time and asked about the gluten-free (or rather, non-gluten-ingredient) dishes on their menu. The gentleman who answered the phone was friendly and gave me a pretty thorough run-down--he was very patient and friendly. My husband ordered through the drive-thru (he got a burrito and fries) and ordered the chicken nachos for me (mentioning that they needed to be gf). My husband enjoyed the burrito and thought the fries were meh. My nachos were pretty bland and I was disappointed to find some french fries at the bottom of the container (it's a closed container, so they didn't fall in from my husband's meal). The french fries are cooked in a fryer with gluteny items, so I got some guaranteed cross-contamination that's currently kicking my insides around. I don't think this is a bad restaurant, but if you have food allergies, sensitivities, or related auto-immune disorders, it's probably not the place for you. Since I can't safely go here again and the food was meh, I'd give it two stars. However, my husband will likely go back because he enjoyed his burrito, so I'm giving it a total of three stars. read more

Decent burrito. I've only been there once so far, but the burrito I tried was good and the service was fast and friendly. The hot sauce had a good flavor to it, but I wish it was hotter. Next time I'll have to ask and see if they have something with a bit more kick. I also always want everyone to offer an avocado based hot sauce as well, but sadly they do not have one The aqua fresca was also very tasty. Planning to head back to try some of the other menu items soon. read more

SCAMMERS SCAMMERS SCAMMERS SCAMMERS CAUTION DO NOT EAT HERE I accidentally put my pin in and they charged me 93.00 dollars for a 13.00 super nacho. The kid at the register acted like it wasn't a big deal and I "need to wait 5 days" I have been a customer at super burrito since before they had that new building built. I just didn't appreciate the attitude from that kid like I'm not suppose to be upset about being charge 80 extra dollars. Ok you've got to believe me when I say this...this was hands down the best burrito I have ever had in my entire life. I've been eating burritos for about 30 years and I knew from the first bite I was gonna finish this puppy. I got the carne asada burrito it was jammed packed with meat. The service was great and I will 100% go back even though it is no where near my house or places I frequent. It's worth the drive even in traffic. If I could give it 10 stars I would. My fiancée ate there today and had a fish burrito. She's now home with extreme stomach pain. She says she knows is exactly the fish in the burrito because she keeps burping it. Delicious al pastor tacos! We have been picking up food from Super Burrito a few times a month since we moved to Oregon 7 years ago. We have always been treated well and have never had a bad meal. Burritos are generous and their red and green hot sauces are great! One reviewer said there aren't any Mexicans ordering food here - wrong! My hubby is Mexican just FYI! I've been coming since this place opened at least 20 years ago. The hard shell tacos with shredded beef are the best. It's hard to beat a homemade taco shell. The super nachos and burritos are enormous and excellent! Great food for the price. Everyone in Milwaukie knows Super Burrito! read more

I came here on my lunch and it took me awhile cause the menu is huge(that's what she said)!!! I ended getting a shrimp taco and crunch hard taco and both were good! I love also when I go to a Tavi place and they have veggies and green sauce and red sauce home made! I saw a man order a tostada And I immediately was in regret, cause damn it looked good!!! Not being a big turkey girl, and having moved here ten years ago from San Francisco where authentic Mexican food flows like water, I was craving a taste of home. Just as I was about to give up and head home I discovered what I believe to be the most authentic Mexican food I have had in Oregon, ever. It's tucked next to a smoke shop in a strip mall in mikwaukie, the sign has no light and you have to go through a store to get to the restaurant - it's not an easy spot to find. Without a bit of luck I never would have found it as Google doesn't even know it's there. But it is. And friends of OCCC I tell you, if you're craving that sweet carnitas with crispy edges in a homemade corn tortilla topped with fresh cilantro? This is your place Or tender Barbacoa wrapped in a giant (and I mean f*cking GIANT) flour tortilla stuffed to the brim with beans and rice and crema, this is still your place. Menudo? They gotchoo, boo. Spice hound like me? They make a habanero salsa - a rarity in mikwaukie. The family who owns it are kind, generous and will help you choose if you're faced with too many delicious decisions. And they're open every day for pickup, which makes me a happy, happy girl. Unfortunately the staff neglected to include napkins, and eating utensils which is pretty essential when one is eating a really big MESSY burrito, or a smothered burrito. My burrito became so messy that i just stopped eating it, and my son's, which was the smothered one, required him to look through his truck to see if he had a fork or a spoon. He ended up having to go to a convenience store to get one. The burritos were pretty good, but really too big and too wet to eat easily. We ended up going through a pack of Tissues i had in my purse. Note to self, check the bag and/or ask the employee "are there napkins and eating utensils in here?", before rushing out the door to the game.
