Birria Quesadilla
Jamie S.

Tasty food with big portions and quality ingredients. I ordered the birria quesadilla ($12.99) and birria tacos ($12.99) with a small pineapple juice drink ($2.75). The quesadilla and tacos were delicious. Pineapple juice was sweet and refreshing. We went on a Sunday evening. There were several other customers inside. The order was out within a reasonable time, and fresh and hot. The inside is small, but there's always a table available.

I haven't tried other things on the menu, but tacos are always a hit!! I love that they have a salsa and toppings bar!

I've been here more than a few times and this has been my go to Mexican spot in Cobb County. I discovered this spot from a foodie friend and he was spot on. Parking spots are ample so no issue there. They have plenty of options to choose from like burrito, quesadillas and of course tacos. They just recently add birria to the menu so one day I'll have to try that. My go to menu is shrimp ceviche and a torta. The tacos are good too. Tiny but good. And the food is inexpensive. Service is good. Haven't had a bad experience. And they have seating if you prefer to eat inside. Many locals come to this spot; they usually keep a steady crowd.

Regular old Mexican food...

Mexican fast food. Not BAD but not Great... regular run of the mill shoveled out Mexican food. I'm amazed this place is full of Mexicanos. There's much better choices. I'm eating Enchiladas de Pollo. Rice has no flavor and beans are thin and out of a can seemingly. The chicken is that stewed in tomatoes and onion wet stuff. Tortillas are pre-made type. Try Julia's for Enchiladas you'll never forget.. made with handmade tortillas and grilled chix breast.

Steak burrito plate is delicious. If you eat this you won't be hungry anytime soon. I've had the tacos before too, they are good but small.

Good food with good prices. Get your Mexican favorite, you won't be disappointed. I had the steak burrito platter.

I'm giving two stars solely for the quantity of the food, and due the closest to authentic Mexican food This location has been my go-to since it's right by my work, but I've often experienced poor service from the cashiers. I'm not sure if it's a discrimination issue or if they just feel threatened by my presence, but yesterday was the last straw. When I walked in, there was no greeting. The young lady with glasses stood at the counter facing the cooks for a while before finally turning around to take my order. I overlooked her lack of hospitality and decided to eat in. When my number was called, she placed my plate on the counter without a tray. I had to ask for one, and it felt like a deliberate act of rudeness. This isn't the first time she's made me feel unwelcome. I'll be taking my business to the Gwinnett County location on Buford Highway from now on--their service is top-tier, and the food is always fresh. Also I'm contacting the "Better Business Bureau" because the service is definitely not accepted.

This is my favorite restaurant. It's always the perfect answer when trying to pick somewhere to eat. It's simply good food. Workers are super friendly and helpful. I am not obsessed with their tortas--I just think there's better places to get them in the area, but they can't be the best at everything! I just love it here forever they will always have my business! It's in an old WAHO and the seating is the same but it all perfectly fits the vibe. I wouldn't change a thing.

Asada taco and Pastor taco (extra cilantro)
Monica H.

This is definitely a go-to for some bomb tacos! The prices are excellent and the taste is even better. I'm a fan of their asada tacos and pastor tacos (w/ extra cilantro). You can find me in here at least once a week because it's just that good. Heads up, beware of the spicy salsa...I consider myself to have a high spice tolerance but these salsa will take you out. They don't have water on tap so come prepare to buy a bottle of water or other soft drink.

Chicken, pork and steak street tacos

This food was so good. The only complaint and I use that word loosely is the guacamole had way too many onions in it for me. But the flavor and seasoning was good on everything. If I lived here this would be a weekly place for me. There's so much more I want to try. Everything looks great!

They redid all their benches, cleared up the spacing and floors and revamped how their front desk looks.

This place has been rock solid for authentic Mexican food for the last 5 years I've lived here. One of the few places that sell lengua - which is beef tongue tacos. You know the authenticity cause nobody else bothers selling lengua unless they're authentic. Since I've been coming here for the last five years the place has been upgrading and their prices haven't followed suit. They serve their community well and nearly everyone that comes here doesn't speak much English, (like I said, authentic). I've included a pic of what the place looks like now - it's a much cleaner look than before

It's a small place but food is delicious. They sell no beer or cocktails. The service is good and didn't wait too long.

Each one was so tasty and flavorful! We found Zama on Yelp. We traveling from Florida to home. It was our first visit, which Dylan asked about. Had a #6 (taco and enchilada). The taco came in a separate dish (okay) but fell apart when I tried to pick it up. I've eaten Mexican food for 50 years and this was the worst I've ever had (not kidding). The enchilada was cheese and there was plenty but it was about as dry as it could be. A little sauce would have definitely helped. The server was very attentive on the front end. When we were done, I had to flag the manager for our checks. He got right on it but 10 minutes later we were still sitting there, waiting to pay. I had to flag the manager down again. This was unacceptable. Even with 3 stars, I would never eat here again.

It can be a bit of a tight squeeze in the vintage building. Price wise, everything on the menu is reasonable. Plus, kids eat free on Tuesdays with the purchase of an adult meal. While service can be inconsistent and parking can be difficult to find in peak times, here are some of the redeeming factors: - mini poke tacos: love these more than the variation Mac's carries on their menu. I will say they may use a hair too much aioli at times, but the marinated tuna is a win. - queso is always a win. Served with tortilla triangles and tortilla chips. - Shanghai shrimp salad with sriracha honey dressing is my go to lunch choice. - fried yuca as a side is the way to go! My favorite tacos: - gringo: perfect amount of sloppy and salty with the queso - pacific rim: ask for it in a lettuce wrap! - Korean fried cauliflower: sometimes served with a bit too much guac, but I love the rest of it! Agave marg is always a win. Made with fresh lime juice instead of sweet and sour mix.
