It's been 68 days since I dropped my truck off with these people and I still haven't received a call back to pick up my truck. I dropped it off on April 5th with brake issues. I was told by Shannon that I would receive a call back within the next two days. Well after leaving several voicemails and many calls she finally returned my calls 3 weeks later. Her excuse was they were busy therefore she couldn't answer or return any of my calls.... They finally get my truck looked at and tell me it's the master cylinder(a part recently changed) anyways they're the "experts" so I tell them to go ahead. $560 later they tell me it's all good to go! I show up, pay, and drive off 20 seconds later my brakes lock back up and take it back. A week later they tell me my brake pads are saturated in brake fluid therefore it's making them swell and cause to lock up. This seemed odd because I had never seen any brake fluid on my wheels, driveway or have had to top off my fluid. Anyways I pull up to talk to the technician and he has everything pulled off. He assures me this is the problem so I OK $1300 worth of work to be performed and I tell them to replace the rear calipers while they're at it a extra $320 expense that I wanted do. $1700 later they say it's really ready this time. So I happily show up and pay my bill. Pullout of the parking lot and 10 seconds later they lock up again. 20 minutes later I get the truck back to the dealer and go tell the service advisor it's locked up again! 5 technicians come out and this time they are accompanied by their Master Tech and he tells me he'll check it out. Literally 10 minutes later I get a call saying it's a Brake Positioning Sensor that cost $82 and it's sitting on the shelf and if I wanted to replace it. After spending over $2k on unnecessary repairs it was a freaking $82 sensor. I feel like I've been played at this point. The service Manager Thomas was pretty much useless so I reached out to the GM Clark LeDoux he tried compensating me with a full tank of diesel LMAO!! Clark, please call me buddy it's been 2 weeks since you said you would look at the ticket and fix this issue. You not only swindled me out of unnecessary repairs but are costing me money having my truck sit in a empty lot with absolutely no inventory. You guys cannot be that busy. I advise everyone to go to Grand Prairie Ford these guys just don't have what it takes and the problem seems to trickle down from the very top. read more

I went in for oil change and tire rotation. While waiting two customers reported that they had issues with service department. One customer reported that they discovered that their oil had not been changed. The other reported that the tires weren't rotated (spouse used chalk) to mark. Well, a short time after my service or what I thought was a service. I discovered that all my fluids were low (dangerously low). You may want to consider another service facility. I went their yesterday with my mom to take a look a couple of used cars and needles to say what a horrible experience.The car salesman hisself came out and greeted us and was very friendly and accommodating.I can't say the same for the manager in the used car section.He came out looked at my moms car and then said can I look inside?We said yes.So he looked inside and claimed the check engine light was on.Which it was not.The car was not started up and you know how all the lights come on before you start it up?That was the situation.We tried to show him but he already rushed into his office.So the car salesman came out with the so called appraisal of 500.00.I mean what a insult.This car is not something you take to the junkyard or scrap.It's a 2010 Focus with less then 80,000 miles that is in decent shape.We could probably get at least 3000 to 3500 if we sold it out right.I've gotten several cars at this place and my wife just bought a brand new truck here.Not sure if I'll be back?You might have had a potential buyer but it looks like will be heading on down the road.I guess will see if we can get more the 500 for my Moms car. read more

Stay away from these ripoff artist. They obtained a new F150 pickup and sent me a copy of the window sticker with a firm price. When I went to the dealership and reviewed the invoice, I noticed a line item for a "protection package" for $2000. I asked the salesman for an explanation and he stumbled for a response and then replied it was a anti-theft device for the tailgate. I told him I didn't want that and I never asked for it. His reply was that it was already installed by the dealership they acquired the truck from. Then he said it also includes the window tint and a bed liner but they will remove the $2000 so they removed the item from the invoice but added $2000 to the purchase price and I failed to notice the change. When I got home with the truck, I noticed a "Don Davis" sticker on the windows with the window tint installed over it. This was proof that the additional items were not from the other dealership. Not only did they lie about it but what they did with the change on the contract is called fraud. They are refusing to correct the situation. And the bed liner is still not installed. read more

The service center is poorly run and managed. I took my wife's car there for a recall issue. They told me it would only take a couple of days but it ended up being over a week. They didn't call to tell me about any delayed or issues. When I went up there the service manager straight up lied to my face and claimed the service employee called me when in fact I had the proof to show he had not. The Truck Service Department does not have the staff from the management down to the technicians to properly service your vehicle. We have had an F350 with an AC problem since 2-2020. The truck has been in the shop for over 4 weeks during this period. The Service Manager called late Friday leaving a message stating the repairs were complete once again. Brought vehicle in for a 30k mile oil change. I was told tires needed replacement and it has a transmission leak. Told they would need to have a certified ASE person look at it and have to drop transmission to see what's going on. I went to look at leak and when I touched the drop it was fresh oil and not transmission fluid. During this same time two different new car sales people gave me their business cards and wanted me to get a "Free" car appraisal. Not sure what's going on here but I probably won't be back. UNBELIEVABLE!!! I was in communications with Quincey and Bo to purchase a used Lincoln Navigator. We were communicating back and forth since Monday (today is Friday); which they were both great in answering all my questions and addressing my concerns on this vehicle. Fast forward to late afternoon on Friday; I'm sitting at my bank awaiting just one more piece of information (this is due to the fact that I'm out of state and going to purchase a vehicle out of state for the first time); I then get an email stating that the vehicle sold, while the sales consultant I was working with was out of the office. SHM! I emailed the sales director; whom I was also communicating with, which he never replied. I emailed the General Manager, no reply an hour later. I guess there are no internal checks and balances to notify other employees a vehicle is being processed; even when I was told I had the first right of refusal, guess they don't honor their own words. Nonetheless, that was my experience, was good up to to point I got word the vehicle sold, while sitting at my bank to make a wire transfer. It is a great car.I always take it in to the Don Davis in Arlington.Their service has really started to go down hill ever since the General Manager left and they got a new one.I had to have my car towed in due to a dead battery in April and when we picked it up and took it home we saw the battery cover was in the back seat of all places..not great service for 250.00 then on 7/29 I spent another 100.00 on a front end alignment and thought that the battery cover would be taken of at that visit because I had complained about..but no ...then they topped of my fluids for the full service routine that I usually love about them ...but they broke my windshield fluid container. I have called at least 7 times and spoken to several people and even my service adviser ....and when he did not call back I found out he was no longer with the company. I left several messages for the service manager and General manager to call me back. I have not heard a word from anyone . They have taken my money for 4 years and have now on very simple things have gone radio silent. I have been trying to get the level of service that I have always received when the old General manger was there for 5 months now to no avail. Took Vehicle in due to Engine Revving & Heater not working properly. Transmission Dept is four weeks behind, same as one year ago. Not acceptable to expect folks to leave car or wait four weeks to get their Car fixed. Heater not working properly was result of cracked Radiator, quoted me estimate of over $1,300 to replace Radiator & another $400 to replace top & bottom Radiator hoses. Ridiculous pricing. Found highly rated local Repair shop that replaced Radiator with quality brand OEM part & Hoses for $600. Saved $1,100. Don Davis ok place to get Oil change, Filter & Tires rotated for $39.95, but any other repairs not reasonably priced for most folks. Sad they make u wait four weeks for Transmission repairs & then the cost is so high. Cost $500 for Engine Revving problem, Reprogramed EEC & changed Transmission fluid. On Drive home Engine still Revving Disappointing & Frustrating. read more
