We walk by Don Daisy's all the time and finally gave it a try last weekend. Safe to say we'll be back often. The sandwiches were so good I was thinking about them all week and came back again a few days later. We had the Don Pastrami and the Sinatra, and both were incredible. I've had a lot of sandwiches in my life and this is easily a top spot for me. Highly recommend if you appreciate a quality sandwich with a great portion.

Excellent sandwich place...this place is incredible. The sandwiches are huge and so good. I went with a buddy to try and we can't stop talking about how wonderful the food is here. I got the Sanatra and my buddy got the Don Daisy and we split one half so we could try both. Go early...no place to sit inside but plenty of tables outside around the corner. Either are excellent. Sooo good!

I'm not sure why it took me so long to try Don Daisy's, but I finally made it happen and it was worth the wait. I'm not a big pork eater, but I felt like I had to try the classic Don Daisy and I'm glad I did. What really stands out is how balanced these sandwiches are. The Don Daisy had incredible sauces and aiolis with the perfect mix of textures and flavors. I loved the crunch from the kettle chips paired with the deli meats, the acidity from the pickles, and the freshness from the cucumbers. The layering of flavors and textures is impressive and the balance is so well done. I really enjoyed this sandwich and will definitely be back, especially to try their turkey sandwich next time. One thing to note is that the sandwiches are bigger than I expected. One sandwich will absolutely fill you up. I had half and it held me down for hours. They're ranked 88th in the nation for sandwiches, and if you haven't been yet, you should definitely check them out.

This is pretty good. I'm not a huge fan of cold cut sandwiches but I really enjoyed this spot. I don't know if it's the quality of the ingredients or how it's put together, probably both. Don Daisy sandwich was good but I liked Sinatra way more, just a great combination of flavors. I also preferred the Ciabatta over the sourdough on these sandwiches, although both were good. I couldn't tell by looking at the photos but the sandwiches are pretty big, would probably be hard to finish if you are not too hungry. If you are into sandwiches I definitely recommend checking this place out.

Ordered the "how do you like them apples" turkey sandwich for $16. Everything was great but the napkins were wet when I took my sandwich out and proved pretty useless. The sandwich was good but doused in a vinaigrette which because soggy quickly. Very hefty sandwich, too much for one person and I have a big appetite. Loved the chopped chips in the sandwich only wish the bread wasn't so soggy. It because very messy and I was eating in the car on the go. Would try again but would ask for the dressing on the side.

Unique cold-cut sandwiches. They LOAD with savory meats, fresh veggies, and kettle chips that add up to a phenomenal sandwich texture and crunch. I've tried the Don Daisy and Gobble Ghoul (turkey). Flavor bombs! Limited seating inside but quick takeout service (consistently around 15 min noon time). Free hour parking in the indoor garage lot, at the end of the turnaround on Artsakh Ave.

My gf and I visited Don Daisy's for the first time and had a great experience. The location is small and has very limited seating, so don't plan on eating there. The sandwiches were tasty, but not mind blowing. The reason I still rate Don Daisy's 5 stars is because of the size and value. We ordered the Gobble Ghoul and The Sinatra. One on sourdough and the other on their ciabatta. Next time, I'll stick with the ciabatta. It was warm and fluffy, but more importantly, thick enough to hold the astonishing amount of sandwich fillings. Both sandwiches had a form of pickled veggies that kept them balanced and juicy despite the amount of meat in them. One of the many impressive aspects of the sandwiches are the crushed kettle chips. They actually stay inside and add to the overall enjoyment of the sandwich instead of being a performative sandwich ingredient. I really appreciate the effort Don Daisy's puts into providing a high quality sandwich experience without overcharging customers. I can't wait to explore more of their menu!

These sandwiches are one of a kind and absolutely amazing! We have tried the Don Daisy, How Do you Like Them Apples, and Figget 'Bout It. All were delicious, but my absolute favorite is the Figget 'Bout It. Something about that fig jam with the prosciutto, feta, arugula, and potato chips just hits the spot every time. It's the perfect combination of flavors and textures. The sandwiches are huge and can easily be shared between 2 people. You can choose between ciabatta or sourdough bread. If you don't like spicy, I would ask for no jalepeno. My experience with the Jalepenos has been like a game of roulette. The store is small and seating is very limited, but the service is great! I dream about this place and can't wait to come back again!

Spotted their cute tiny storefront in passing and the image of the sandwich looked so delicious that I had to stop by for lunch. So glad I did, the sandwich was bomb. The lady at the cash register was very sweet and helpful, letting me take my time and offered me samples of the sauces. I went with the popular Don Daisy sandwich, it was so delicious, 10 out of 10! I love the touch of kettle chips in the sandwich. You literally don't even need to have a side of chips. It adds a yummy saltines and a great texture. The meats are high-quality and the bread doesn't get soggy on you. These sandwiches are huge. I was only able to eat half for lunch, and then scarfed down the other half for dinner, which held up really well. Will try again!

We were in the area and wanted to grab some food before we went to the concert at the Hollywood Bowl. I looked up sandwiches, and Don Daisy's came up. There aren't a ton of options, but we had no problem ordering. This place is very tiny, If I remember correctly, there were only two tables. You can't see where they're making the sandwiches. It feels very closed in. We ate half a sandwich at the concert and brought the other halves home to eat the next day. I suggest you eat the sandwich that same day, or else the ingredients make your bread soggy. The ones we ate at the concert, though were delicious. We actually could've just shared a sandwich, they are good size. If I was in the area and looking for a sandwich place, I would definitely visit again and try a different one. 10/22/25

All I can say is food 100% amazing, service 100% amazing loved the staff very attentive and gave the best recommendations, ambience very unassuming and we loved it!! We definitely recommend this spot to anyone who is a sandwich lover, you will not be disappointed!

Offers massive, flavor-packed sandwiches with crunchy chips.... Yeah, sounds about right! In the Glendale area for work and Don Daisy's was close by. So far I have only tried Figgeta 'Bout It, twice within the last week, and boy, I can't Figgeta about it. Something about this diabolical combo of fig jam and crumbled feta, with those expertly-stacked cucumbers and jalapeños, and that nice pop of freshness from the arugula, just works. The slight saltiness of the prosciutto balances well with the sweet jam, and crunchy kettle chips add a nice textural element. First time I ordered, I ordered one sandwich for myself with turkey on ciabatta. It was so massive that I only was able to eat half at lunch. I packed the rest and was able to eat for lunch the next day. The second time, my friend and I split one, also with turkey but on the regular sliced bread. Hoping to be back here soon so I can try the other amazing combos.

Wow! Don Daisy's strong-arms some of the best homemade sandwiches around. After drooling over the reviews from my fellow Yelpers, I decided to stop in and check it out for myself. So glad I did. A very simple storefront, with inviting vibrant colors and incredibly friendly staff await those that come inside to order. The menu is simple, mob-themed and delicious. There are no shakedowns, except that you'll be reaching into your wallet again and again to pay off your hunger debt. After speaking with the extremely nice young woman at the counter and asking for her recommendations, I went with the H.Y.L.T.A (How You Like Them Apples) $16.00 sando. The description on this one blew my mind: Maple-glazed turkey, havarti, cucumbers, jalapeños, granny smith apples, hot honey, crushed kettle chips, herbed aioli on ciabatta. You could also opt for sourdough, but trust me, ciabatta is where you want to be. Lucky enough to score a spot at one of the only two tables inside to eat, my sandwich was prepared a quickly and given to me in less than 10 minutes. Opening up the package, I was excited to see that the sandwich was large and packed full of incredible flavor combinations. I opted for the jalapeños on the side, so that I could take in all of the other yummy ingredients first. Each bite was outstanding and plentiful. The ciabatta bread is outstanding. Incredibly soft and fresh. The crunch of the chips with the sweetness of the honey and apples was mesmerizing. I added a couple of jalapeños to the second half of the sandwich and it definitely provided a little added heat, but not enough to overpower the other ingredients. In fact, it created some wonderful balance of spice and sweetness. The soft turkey slices were sweetened beautifully with the maple glaze. This was one of the best sandwiches I have ever tasted as it was a completely tastebud sensory overload with each perfect bite. I was also luckily enough to speak with one of the workers who knew the owners and shared my thoughts with her. Simply put, if you want an amazing tasty sandwich for a reasonable price, check out Don Daisy's. As they say, "it's not a flower shop," but you'll be delighted with an incredible experience with a top-notch simplistic menu. No frills, no fuss. Hunger mob rules.

We got the Don Daisy and the HYLTA (turkey sandwich). The staff was really nice and while it was a 15ish minute wait, the cashier gave me a cold water while I waited which was sweet. Everyone I interacted with was really nice. We liked both sandwiches a lot but preferred the turkey - it was a really good balance of salty and sweet along with good textures. The sauce or aioli they make is awesome. We also got both the sourdough and ciabatta and preferred the ciabatta because it was really soft. We took our sandwiches to the beach and they held up pretty well even with the chips.... Will definitely be back!!!!! read more

Absolutely recommend!!! We saw pictures of the sandwiches and that it is women owned and our group of 5 was sold. The staff were so very kind and welcoming. I'm actually not too big on sandwiches but gosh this is the best sandwich I've ever had. I tried a pastrami one they had on special. Holy shit that was a good sandwich. I got the Sinatra and everything just worked SO well. The ingredients were well dressed and well seasoned, the meats and cheese were perfectly balanced and of high quality, the ciabatta was the perfect thickness; not too thick that you end up with a mouthful of bread but not so thin that it all falls apart. It was simply the perfect sandwich. I've never felt compelled to go leave a 5-star review immediately after finishing a meal but here we are. I'm going to have to go back and try everything on the menu now. I wouldn't recommend eating both halves in one sitting though. I attempted it only because it was so damn good, but it really deserves to be enjoyed in two sittings, or split with a friend. Which I love! please don't make the sandwiches smaller! read more

I got a Sinatra and pastrami to share. Didn't even start on my second half after that pastrami.....WOW!! Totally packed with flavor and lots of meat. They do not cheap out on the amount. Delicious! Got the Don Daisy and it had all the right flavors. Love how they use pickles and cucumbers. Really good flavor and delicious bread as well. Got the sourdough which went really well with this sandwich. So many sandwich places don't get it right but this place had the right balance of everything and also a good size. Our first visit to Don Daisy was quite memorable and we will be back. Spouse and I out to a late lunch and just happened to find this wonderful place on Yelp. We decided to share the HYLTA and when the owner came over to ask how we like it we just said Wow! Husband said best sandwhich he has found in a long time. Got it just the way they make it and it all came together well. Jalapeños not over spices for my sensitive stomach and the crunch of the apples and the potatoe chips on it, well let's just say a sandwich you can't wait to come back and have. So I say get it the way they make it. We had ours on sourdough and it was delish and not too much bread. Sandwich was messy and ample napkins provided but probably needed wet wipes. Sandwich wrapped in this cute wrap with a note from Don Daisy thanking us for dining there, nice touch. Thanks for bringing a nice sandwich shop to Glendale. Cons: place is small, only two tables inside, too hot to eat outside but not sure there was seating. More like a grab n go place. Also would like a better selection of drinks. Fresh brewed ice tea on these hot days would be perfect. Don't particularly like drinking soda from a bottle. Just my preference. Lastly you could say the price of the sandwich is high but you do get a quality fresh sandwich with great homemade bread so it's a toss up. I might go more often if not so pricey. read more

This place is SO good. If you're looking for the best sandwich in the glendale/LA area this is it. Not only is the service exceptional, but the food is genuinely amazing. Down to the bread it's so soft, and fresh. The location its self is also super nice and clean, and also super convenient to access. First time trying this place out as I was next door at Happy Eyes optometry. OMG, the sandwich I ordered was really good. I ordered the Sinatra. It tasted very fresh with the cucumbers and a tomato confeit? Never had tomatoes like this but it brought a delicious crunch to the sandwich. The sandwich is big. I am saving half of it for tomorrow as I was very satisfied with just half. And I eat a lot. Very interesting and tasty sandwich to say the least. Will be returning. I would like to try the turkey. I parked in the marketplace parking structure. 2 min walk into this new joint. Upon entering I was greeted by the owner. He was very thorough explaining the menu, I ended up with the Don Daisy sandwich. Juicy, tasty and the bread tasted super fresh! Can't wait to come back to try the rest of the menu! I meannnnnnn if you're a sandwich person, you have found the perfect sandwich spot. If you're not a sandwich person, you'll become one. These sandwiches are so perfect. I tried the Don Daisy and The Sinatra and I can't decide which is better. Both made me feel euphoric and that's probably an understatement. Glendale needed a fire sandwich spot, sorry Mario's. I'm going to spend a lot of money here unfortunately but life is short..soooo it isssss what it is. The staff are so nice, the vibes are immaculate, it's giving mom and pop with a modern twist. Was really excited to try this place out. Placed an order online. I arrived a little early however they were very nice and said it would only be a few minutes. I ordered 1 sandwich with no aoili. The special instructions were listed on the wrapping of the paper. However, when I opened it up there was some on the bread. It look like they use some kind of aoili or mayo to toast the bread on the grill before assembling. Basically, my sandwich tasted and smelled like hot mayo. I tried my best to take a bite but unfortunately wasn't able to eat it. Mayo is my least favorite thing on the planet. If special requests are made to remove ingredients it seems counterproductive to still use the ingredient in a different way. Sad this didn't work out. read more

We went on Saturday and this place was delicious!! We ordered the pastrami sandwich and the Sinatra and both sandwiches were amazing. The flavors blended so well together and we will definitely be back. The sandwiches are big! Each one was about $15 but they are shareable. The person working behind the cash register was lovely and very attentive. She checked in with us after the meal just to see if we enjoyed it. Highly recommend this place!! read more

Let's be honest - these are the real places we need to patronize. In a neighborhood of mediocre chains, they're an honest mom n'pop operation, and clearly, clearly care dearly about their product. Each facet - not just the main ingredient, but each facet - good pickles, bread, homemade sauces, everything - each shows the care of a real human being and a real, great chef. The sandwiches here are delicious! You can choose between sourdough and ciabatta bread after you select your sandwich. We tried the figabbout it and Sinatra. Both our sandwich's had generous servings of arugula, cucumber, along with meats and cheeses. The crumbled chips on each sandwich added a nice crunchy contrast to the soft bread. Each sandwich was flavorful, had great textures, and I couldn't have enough! I've had Don Daisy maybe once or twice a week for the last month. I could have it every day. It's been amazing every time. This is the best sandwiche place in Glendale and top 5 in all of Los Angeles. Don Daisy, Sinatra are both great and the new pastrami sandwich is amazing, great addition. The portions are huge, could easily fill up two people. Flavors are on point and has a nice crunch. Anyone looking for a great sandwich should try this place. Keep doing what you're doing. read more

The sandwiches here are amazing!!!! Ordered online for pickup (shop is small so best for a quick lunch or take out) which was very convenient. Sandwiches were nicely packed and so heavy - a good sign ;) had the Don Daisy and the bread was so flavorful, the chips in the sandwich were a unique touch, and the cucumbers added freshness. As Ross once said to Rachel: "YOU WENT ON FOR 18 PAGES FRONT AND BACK!" And believe you me when I say I could go on for 18 pages (front AND back) about these sandwiches. And now that their storefront has opened, you will never have to be "on a break" with Don Daisy's ever again. I'll be the first one to say that there are MANY overhyped restaurants in LA. I've eaten at several of them and have been disappointed time and time again. However, Don Daisy's honestly deserves every ounce of hype it's receiving. As much as I want to gate keep this place (because I know soon there will be a line out the door and a 3 hour wait) I cannot help but wish for everyone to be able to experience one of these sandwiches. For I truly think that with just one bite, we could achieve world peace. I don't think they could make a bad sandwich if they tried. I really don't. My mom and I have been ordering since their instagram drop days and EVERYTHING on the menu is a hit. I've even fallen in love with their vegetarian option which dear reader, you don't know me, but if you did you would know this is something I never do. The flavor, the quality of ingredients, and the portion size is unmatched. But in my opinion the best thing is how they put CHIPS inside the sandwich for you. It's a stroke of sandwich genius. Also I'm not sure if they hired an actual architect to help them with the building of the sandwich, but it literally never falls apart on me despite everything in it. Sandwich integrity is a must, and Don Daisy's has it. Though as I mentioned earlier, EVERYTHING on the menu is amazing, if I had to pick a favorite... I think it would be The Sinatra. A great name for an even greater sandwich. I recommend the Ciabatta (even though the sourdough is great too) and I always get one of their amazing sauces on the side. But even more than the sandwiches, the customer service is top tier. The owners are so lovely, and you can tell how much love they've put it to this place. Which I think may be the most important secret ingredient (even more so the chips). In conclusion (if you made it this far and haven't fallen asleep yet like Ross), don't waste another second and get over to Don Daisy's immediately (or order through postmates or their website) for the best sandwich experience of your life. read more

The sandwiches were super delicious, juicy, and full of flavor. One thing that surprised me was the amount of salt they used -- it was exactly the right amount, and we didn't get thirsty after eating them. These sandwiches are some of the best we've tried so far, and I highly recommend giving them a try.
